They were sent electronically to the Walmart, where we go and find…read moreout that our insurance (thanks a lot Florida Blue s/) would only authorize them to be filled at a Walgreens. So they transfer the scripts to the closest Walgreens, this one. We arrive and jump through the hoops and are told that Florida Blue has to approve the four scripts first and it could take up to 3 days. Okay, give us a call when ready. The next day we start receiving text messages and e-mails that the scripts are ready for pickup. Cool, let's go Sunday (two days later) when we are in town. We arrive and one of the four scripts is not filled and we are told it was coming from their warehouse and it would be another two days. The pharmacist must have seen our sad faces and that we were not making a commotion about it, told us to stand by while he went to provide us with a few tabs to get the wife through a couple days. We thanked him and a short time later he returned with the four scripts. He actually had filled the entire fourth script for us! What a great guy and I wish I recalled his name, as I would give him the props he so much deserves in this review. They get 4 stars (good) due to the hiccup of notifying us that four scripts were ready when actually only three were. However, if we receive the same overall quality service the next time we have to pick up scripts without any hiccups this review will easily be elevated to 5 stars. Time will tell...

This one is close to my home and I needed to pick something up fairly quickly that we hope that they would have in stock. I went in and looked around a couple areas of the store that it might've been in and I did find it near the pharmacy area, which was one of the likely spots to find it. Once I found what I needed, I realized it was quite expensive here which was expected, but as the need was there, I went ahead and grabbed it. I went up by the front register, and there was one person waiting to check out and no employees. An employee walked up and went right to the registers to take care of them and had problems at the register and finally had to transfer to a second register to try and check them out. It was at this point that more people started to get in line behind me. They had the same problems with the second register and had to call for help. We ended up with three people, trying to figure out the problem And one of them took me to the first register, and I mentioned that there had already been a problem there which they also experienced and so they took me across the way to the third register in the store and realized their phones were out along with some other problem. Luckily, the register did work And by the time I was checked out the lady that was checking her one item out had paid cash and was able to get through. In the end, I did get what I needed, but it was expensive and there was just a lot of inconvenience.

Today I had a very pleasant experience with the young lady at the front check out, Jennifer. She helped me with the items I needed, processed the transaction quickly and courteously, then gave me a genuine smile at the end of the transaction. I appreciate both the employee and the store's leadership for training such accommodating and polite associates.

I have been using this Walgreens for years now and that reputation is well-earned. At their worst, they are rude and extremely slow! The reason being is obvious - Publix is more expensive than other grocery stores; so major shopping is not going to happen. The store is always clean and the employees are always nice and helpful when called upon. If groceries overall were not 10-30% more here I would come more often. I was told the store is less than 6 months old or something like that. In Florida the structure of their stores is completely different from Georgia. This store has two floors. I am not sure if customers have access to the floors. It also is on the darker side. I noticed Publix is building stores with a dark ceiling and different lighting now. I am not necessarily a fan of that but I am a fan of newness. The deli and hot bar section is bravo.It kind of sits in the middle of the floor instead of against the wall so you can walk completely around it just about I think yes you can. The good thing about that is that the customers are not all condensed in one area they're all the way around the bar. The selections are chef's kiss! The staff is very friendly and courteous. I found some clearance items in the store that I was very happy about and the quality of the food was very good. The only thing that was weird to me was the bakery is in the very back of the store all the way to the left behind the aisle of wine. I found that to be very strange so very used to the bakery being in the front of the store. I will also like to mention that they had handicap carts available and powered up. That is very good of them. Walmart could never. I will continue to visit the store because it's literally around the corner from my family's house.

My experience with this walgreens has been not been great. The most recent event is the largest…read moremishap ever. Nobody at this Walgreens pharmacy has their "can do " hat on. We have been without medications for almost a month because while my doctor office faxes them... and they fax the doctors office... nobody at this pharmacy followed corporate policy to contact the doctors office after 2 failed attempts to fill a medication. We as patients have NO transparency to this process and are dependent on our customer facing health care advocates to help. This walgreens has no interest in doing that. This walgreens contacted my doctor only after I informed them that I had filed a complaint with corporate Walgreens as well as the FL board of pharmacy. It's amazing how someone found their CAN DO hat this morning. They claim my doctor had an issue but admit it was "their failure" to notice it and they will "have a QA meeting". They say failure instead of mistake. The store manger also stated that my retelling of an experience was inconsistent with their employees' recollection. They get a point for standing up for their employees, but I will continue to pursue this through formal complaints. Oh, and yes I won't be using this pharmacy anymore. I know in the grand scheme of things I don't matter, but when a pharmacy makes a mistake that could affect our health, it is important to be public about it.
