That's disappointing. I needed to get around a half dozen items from the grocery side and was in a hurry. The store seemed clean enough. I found the grocery area organized and well stocked. To me that earns 3 star for just that. The service was the bonus when I did ask a clerk a question. I avoided the self checkout which I despise and had a cashier that was both efficient and friendly enough. I would return, but do recommend looking at other reviews. YIKES! A 3 seems to fit my visit perfectly.

She unilaterally made this decision, apparently under the mistaken belief that I was "drug seeking". She did not bother to call the prescribing surgeon. She was adamant and unreasonable. No amount of rational discussion was persuasive. If humiliation was her goal, she succeeded. So, I went to another nearby pharmacy that willingly filled it without the smug condescension and not-so-subtle accusation. The legal support (in Indiana) for this kind of blunt refusal is somewhat ambiguous, though it seems reasonable to expect that a trained pharmacist would at least contact the prescriber with any legitimate medical concerns. Note to CVS: Absent 6-12 years worth of medical school + residency + fellowship(s) + board licensure(s), a person with a Pharm.D is not a physician. I no longer do business at this pharmacy.

When I asked the employee about it, they've then rudely responded that I was now interrupting their lunch and should've gotten here earlier. When I sat a whole half hour prior to them closing for lunch. Numerous cars got out of line because it took so long some even went inside and their prescription was filled inside at the counter, but not at the drive-through.

This should be ZERO STARS. This CVS is committing FRAUD! False advertisement on certain in-demand…read moreproducts like a specific ADVENT CALENDAR that is STILL advertised as available for pick up on their website, however, it is NOT available. This is deceptive business practices! When my 11yo daughter and her father arrived to pick up the previously paid for item online, thank goodness she opened it and realized it was the alleged "substitute" products, not the advent calendar. Mind you, the substitute products (2) only retailed for a total of approx $9.00. $5.99 x2 BUT these items were actually buy one get 50% off. The advent calendar was over $24.99. Thankfully, an honest and also embarrassed employee explained that the manager will NOT update the website that they are indeed sold out of that advent calendar. Instead, the manager has instructed the employees to "substitute" the Advent calendar with the replacement items instead and place in bag for customer pick up (mind you, we already ordered for pickup online AND paid for the product online b/c Avon CVS showed it was available!) Obviously, this was infuriating and ILLEGAL! The poor employee was so apologetic and stated she couldn't challenge the manager and just had to do what they were directed but that they knew it was wrong to do business this way. The manager wont update the website this type of advent calendar was not available. I applaud the employee that was honest and we will be filing a complaint with Corporate about this manager so that this employee doesnt experience retribution from a manager that is obviously crooked and Corporate needs to be aware to watch for any other criminal or fraudulent actions within this store.

The staff here took great care in helping them pick the right items for their situation and took the extra step to be supportive of them during a very difficult time. You will not get this level of service at any of the major chain pharmacies. Our whole family is very grateful to Eagle Highland Pharmacy.

There are a few large online businesses that provide this service, but when I checked I could not believe how much they were charging Medicare for them. Maybe with an add-on plan customers don't pay anything and don't care, but I don't qualify yet for an add-on so I pay up front and get reimbursed 80%. Besides, I am a taxpayer and I don't like the waste for their maximum profit. Anyway, Eagle Highland Pharmacy, known to me online as Ostomy Care Supply, was very helpful getting me set up, letting me know what they needed to process the claim and what that process was. I try not to cut it close, but the shipments do come fairly quickly so that wouldn't be a problem, and the claims have gone through fine. If I lived close, I would try them out as my local pharmacy.
