I really like the staff here and other than my 1st time out in a mask and some perv jerk....social distancing is respected by customers and the staff.They always have my mascara and other items in stock.Pretty quick moving lines too.I must sign up for the delivery though. read more

I never thought I would review a CVS but service at this location is so bad I felt the need to. Will say pharmacy was great when giving my mom vaccines but never any cashiers and they have someone standing at the door but not one person at the register? Stopped going here and now go to east islip which is run much more efficiently read more

Most of the pharmacy staff are very rude. They seem to be annoyed if you ask them any questions.

We came in to pick up a prescription and to have passport pictures taken. The pharmacy staff was very rude and by the looks of it they were overworked but that doesn't mean you can be nasty. It took about 30 mins to pick up the medicine that was filled a few days prior. She mentioned there was an issue with my Rx insurance however once she looked up my wife's account she had all the information she needed. After standing there on the phone with the insurance company trying to help her, she turns around as said "just go sit somewhere for 20 minutes." At this point I still didn't know if she had all the information she needed or not since she gave me no update. All I got from her was huffing and puffing mixed in with a few eye rolls. As far as the passport pictures, we weren't able to have those done because "they don't have a camera." read more

If I can give them negative stars I would. Every time I go there it's always an issue and always take at least 10 minutes at the register. I don't know why I go back but this time was my breaking point. I got a 40% coupon to use and brought my item up to the register and gave the mgr my card. She says no coupon. ??? Confused I confirm my email with her and showed her the email and the coupon stating it's on my card. She tells me it's not my name on the email. The email states "fall savings are here Jennifer" and " ready to save, Jennifer?" THIS IS MY NAME!! And yes I showed it to her. She tells me the coupon is for Saundra not Jennifer so no coupon. I won't be coming back to this pharmacy unless there's a big emergency and it's my only option. I couldn't believe after giving my primary and secondary medical insurance card how my payment for a specific medicine was almost double of what I usually pay at any other pharmacy. After reading other reviews I went to this pharmacy anyways to pick up meds for my child. I do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone because their prices are ridiculously insane. read more

First line Pharmacy staff that answer phones are a "special kind of stupid". One staffer tells you one thing about when a prescription will be ready and another staffer tells you a different story when you call back. Plus, the Automated system will tell you when your prescription will be ready, ok great, but again you call back and are told something else. And, to be honest, I am not even angry about it. I am actually amused. It is very comical. Can't make it up. The lack of customer service is "Everywhere" these days. Bottom line, "keep the line moving folks" because no one really cares. If I didn't have to be on blood pressure meds I wouldln't have a reason to go here so it's ok for the most part most of the workers are helpful and can take instructions with the exception of one sorry individual that works at the CVS Pharmacy in Target at Bayshore on Sunrise Hwy. I won't name names but she is incompetant. She's always flustered , confused and distracted and attempts to help 3 people at once. I specifically told her 12 dollars cash and the rest on card for a $16.50 med pick up. What does she do , talks to several different people while taking my cash then says ok that's $4 on card I put the card in , I'm going by what she just said and what I had told her. She says oh you gave me too much money. I said how much did I give you, I knew the answer to that which is 12 bucks cash , she says I put 12 on your card I just need 4 bucks. Seriously you can't take simple instructions and perform it to it's completion , They should put her on bathroom detail only so she can talk to whoever she wants and not have to be involved with the public. Has no customer service skills. Next time I see her I will wait till she isn't working to pick up my meds. I'm not very happy at all. DO NOT GO HERE. I repeat, DO NOT GO HERE! The pharmacy is nothing but a hassle and the pharmacists are LAZY AF. They couldn't even call my insurance to verify my coverage and when I asked why they said "the pharmacy help desk said it was terminated" right after I got off the phone with the Cobra Administrator who said I WAS COVERED AND SHOULDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM FILLING THE MEDICATION. I'm so done with this place because they won't even go the extra mile to get this figured out. It's blood pressure medication so it's not like I can go without it. Screw this place. read more

Both the pharmacy and regular store here is terrible. The lines are so long. I live down the street but I will be switching pharmacies because its just not worth it. I got a text that my prescription was ready on Wednesday. I went to pick it up around 4 on Thursday and they said it was not ready and it would be 20 minutes. I just left and told them id pick it up on my way home the following day. I went in around 4 on friday and they told me it was still not ready and it would be 20 minutes!! Avoid this place unless waiting in a line of 3 people for 45 minutes is your thing. read more

This is a typical cookie-cutter CVS. The staff is friendly. The shelves were a bit disheveled, but weren't really screaming "mess!!". Seems like a pretty busy location. I would definitely return if the need arose. read more

I wish there was a -5stars option. This could be the worst pharmacy on the planet. Cvs is west Islip is good. Unfortunately my dr called a script into this cvs on a Wednesday. I called Thursday and it wasn't ready, the nasty women on the phone said it was forgotten about and should be ready Friday. Called Friday and I was told they have to call the insurance company to et authorization. Well finally Monday I called and they said they were filling is and it will be ready by 11 am. Here I am at 12:15 pm and I'm waiting for them to fill it. On top of the incompetence you get an attitude from every employee. Cvs execs should try to get a script filled here. Worst !!!!!!!! Worst !!!!!! Worst !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now waiting in this dirty ass chair for 45 minutes ! Welllllll after waiting an additional 20 minutes I give up. Leaving without my medicine. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. I've had so many problems with insurance changes, and never receiving phone calls that my prescription could not be re-filled. The service here is incredibly slow. I always expect to spend at least 10mins to pick up a prescription or to purchase other items. I've always accepted this until I went in today to purchase burn cream. There was a long line at the counter so I figured to go back to the pharmacy to purchase the over the counter medication. I was turned away and told to go to the front. How can you deny someone service? Nothing like the service I received from CVS in Ronkonkoma. read more

I stopped going to this place because you wait hours for a prescription that should be done in 10 minutes, and i was the only one waiting. You would think that a place like this would be more organized, but its just chaos in there. The lines be so long that you dont even want to wait even if you need the medication. The worst thing of all is when they lie to you, and it comes from them not communicating with each other and then Peter pays for Paul. So maybe management needs to re-organize how things work on a day to day basis or actually even pay attention. read more

My boyfriend and I went in to pick up a prescription of his. They filled it cash because it wasn't covered by his insurance. No one called to tell him that, or how much it would be, which was over $100. They also felt it necessary to say at a high volume what the drug was and what it was for, violating his privacy and embarrassing him. This pharmacy, quite frankly, sucks. The kid who was about to ring him up didn't even know what the drug was at first, he had to go look it up. Everything a pharmacy is supposed to do, they failed at. No calls to the patient, no calls to the Doctor to substitute for a covered prescription, no customer service. Do not waste your time, do not jeopardize your privacy. read more

I am beyond pissed off. No one told me one of my MS medication has a drug interaction with this antibiotic. My heart rate went extremely down. Didn't know why until a week later when my doctor called me saying they just faxed over documents to her of this interaction. I will contact the pharmacy certification board. I have been too many corporate pharmacies but I've never encountered one that is run so poorly. You would think that all DVD, Walgreens, etc are the same, but you would be wrong! I am truly disgusted by something I witnessed in the Bayshore CVS. Apparently the clerk (christina) witnessed a man stealing. As she was yelling at him to leave the store, an African American family (a woman in a wheelchair and her two children) happened to be passing by. This store clerk, Christina, started screaming aggressively at the family to get out of the store as well. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. She automatically assumed that this family was associated with the thief just because the thief was also African American. Once the poor lady in the wheelchair explained that she and her family were not associated with the thief, the store clerk, Christina, gave them a look of disgust and walked away. She never offered an apology. I am beyond disgusted and sick to my stomach. I will be reaching out to corporate and I truly hope that CVS does the right thing and terminates this employee. I had an issue last month after receiving 5 different stories about when my prescription would be ready and why it wasn't ready when promised over 3 days. I decided to try it again and it has been over 10 days since the prescription was dropped off and not once did anyone from CVS call or follow up. What can I say? It's close so I buy diapers, wipes and other things there all the time. Slow lines, rude people at the front. Better than small drugstores for the selection but it's not the best. read more
