I've been on a journey y'all!! I've been going more and more to my primary doctor, and I mentioned…read moreto him that I have back problems when I go to sleep. When I wake up, I wake up and my whole body hurts! Even after getting like 9 hours of sleep, my feet cramp like crazy and I sweat a lot when I sleep. I asked if he could refer me to do a sleep study and I went down that rabbit hole. Turns out I have sleep apnea and it was recommended I use a CPAP machine, and that has led me here. I am the first one in my family to be medically diagnosed with sleep apnea, and I am the first of my friends as well (none of my friends have disclosed they have sleep apnea anyway). I knew nothing and did not know what was supposed to be involved but here I am. This place is located near my house, so it was super easy to get here. This place is open to the public but I would call ahead as you need a prescription for a lot of things here. My insurance company scheduled an appointment here for me. When I arrived, they took me to a private meeting room where they went over everything from A to Z regarding my new CPAP machine. The lady who helped me the first time I was there was kind, funny, and very knowledgeable about the equipment. She fitted me for a mask to help me get started. She provided me with their contact information and other resources to help me on my journey. A few weeks later, I had to return to them to change out my sleeping mask since it was not working out for me. The lady who helped me this time was so amazing! She made me feel so welcomed, and she mentioned all the different reasons someone would be diagnosed with sleep apnea, how the machines work, how they can help you breathe better etc. I never realized how valuable it is to have a good night's sleep until I got diagnosed with sleep apnea and had to start using a CPAP machine. I highly recommend coming here for your medical supplies needs, just give them a call to begin with and they can help you find what you are looking for.

incompetent, inept...and apparently no too concerned about it…read more Following my sleep study I was told that the doctor's office would order my equipment and set an appointment for me to pick it up and be instructed on its use. A week later I was told I had an appointment at Clearview. Upon arriving for my appointment (for which I had an emailed confirmation) I was told that I was not in their system was asked to wait while they researched the issue. After waiting 20 minutes I asked the receptionist to check in my status. She went to someone's office and came back 5 minutes later to tell me that they had no record of me and would not be able to help me. It bothered me that a manager or supervisor wouldn't take the time or make an effort to speak with me directly instead forcing the receptionist to give me the bad news without offering any explanation. She said they would contact the doctor's office and get back to me. After 2 more weeks I again called Clearview to ask about my equipment - and again was told that they had no record of me. I decided to find a provider on my own.- which I did. One week later I received a call from Clearview and a cheery voice asked when I would like to schedule an appointment to pick up m6 equip-men. Needless to say, I let them know that I would not be using Clearview for any equipment purchases. I found Clearview to be the most unprofessional encounter I have ever experienced from a company whose entire business should be based on providing, at the minimum, at least competent customer service. They certainly did not. There are plenty of other DME providers in DFW. I'll continue using one of them or even an online service before ever contacting Clearview again.

Told me I had tried every mask they had and the first one I had was the best. I tried to tell her I had not made any of the changes. That the supplier had arbitrarily changed my mask several times over the years. Sarah was rude, argumentative, condescending, and spoke to me in such a manner that I could hear her co-worker laughing in the background. She needs a lesson in customer service. I think I need to change suppliers. This is unacceptable. DON'T USE THIS BUSINESS if you want to be shown respect.

I contacted AdaptHealth/Healthline Equipment on December 15th and initially spoke with Ashley, the…read morereceptionist who took my information for the Arlington location and said someone would call me back regarding my concerns. About 15 minutes later, I received a call from Sarah H. I attempted to explain that my CPAP mask was pressing against my cheekbone and that I might need a different size or type of mask. Unfortunately, Sarah repeatedly interrupted me and insisted that the issue was due to the mask being too tight--something I never stated. I attempted to clarify multiple times that my concern was not about pressure or the mask "cutting" me, but rather the placement of the cushion on my cheekbone and the difficulty of putting the mask on before connecting it to the machine. I said I think I might need a different size or a different type of mask. Because of this, I cannot sleep on my left side which is the side I mainly sleep on. Sarah did not listen to what I was actually saying and continued responding to issues I never raised. She dismissed my concerns by saying I hadn't given the machine enough time and that I already had "the best mask." When I explained that I felt unheard, her tone became condescending. I asked to speak with her supervisor and was told that she was over my type of concerns. She also stated that she "matches energies," which I found unprofessional, especially since I remained calm until my concerns were repeatedly invalidated. Sarah was rude, argumentative, and dismissive, and she made me feel as though my concerns did not matter. Patients seeking medical equipment support that they are paying for deserve to be listened to with care and respect. If she does not enjoy helping patients, a non-patient-facing role may be more appropriate. This experience has made me consider informing my provider that partnering with AdaptHealth/Healthline might reflects poorly on the care he provides, since their caliber of service does not match his care. I hope no one else seeking medical assistance is ignored or dismissed like I was.
