Price lookup via pharmacy website research
    Derick A.

I was rudely handled and yelled at by pharmacist Bristi who got loud with me when I asked if my information was in their system. She was also rude to another customer at the register next to me. I also found out that the insurance information was not put into the system and I was overcharged for my prescriptions. After doing research I found out that the price I was supposed to pay which included my pharmacy card should have been $4.81 but instead I was charged 4x at $15.00 (see attached pictures). I spoke with Pharmacy Manager Amr Gomaa. who was rude as well. I don't want anybody else to experience this level of unprofessionalism and illegal practices since I was not consulted about the medications either. I filed a complaint with CVS corporate, and I will also file complaints with the State Pharmacy Board, FDA since it involves drug safety, the DEA since it involves a controlled substance and improper dispensing since no consult was done, the State Health Department due to the pharmacists actions, and local ABC, NBC, CBS, & FOX news affiliates.

Saleema Hirani, NP was very disrespectful. Answered my questions with sarcastic answers. Seemingly pushed me out the door. Very rude.

I visited CVS to purchase sunscreen and unfortunately had a very disappointing customer service…read moreexperience. During my visit, a group of employees spent nearly 10 minutes openly complaining about working conditions and job stress within earshot of customers. Once they realized customers could hear the conversation, they moved it to a back aisle, leaving the self-checkout area unattended. When I needed assistance because a coupon would not scan properly, I had to search the store for help. The employee who eventually assisted me, Taylor (Shift Supervisor), appeared frustrated at having to step away from the conversation to help a customer. Her interaction came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. While everyone can have stressful days, customers should still be treated with courtesy and respect. What concerned me most was hearing repeated comments about being unable to handle the stress of the position due to her age and workload. Leadership roles in customer service require professionalism, patience, communication, and the ability to remain composed while assisting customers. Based on this interaction, I believe additional customer service training and leadership development would be beneficial before continuing in a supervisory role. I truly hope management focuses on reinforcing professional communication, customer engagement, and consistent service standards. Employees who are overwhelmed or visibly distressed should be supported appropriately to ensure both staff well-being and a positive customer experience.

Could I please give zero stars! If I wrote all the details of how many times I have had issues at…read morethis and other CVS locations it would look like a book. Sadly my insurance company has a contract with this poorly run company. I feel like most of the issues are probably corporate but sometimes it is hard to tell. Most recently, I got an email from CVS saying they could not fill a 3 month prescription of my diabetes meds and they would text when it was received. They knew 90 days out I would be needing it filled. But I was patient. 10 days later with no updates, I stopped by the pharmacy they said they were still out. It was on back order, I asked if I could get the generic (BTW I get the name brand free and must pay for the generic), they said no CVS in our area had that either. They said they would let me know when it came in. Fast forward another week. I drop by the drive through this time to pick up something else. However, I also inquire about my diabetes medicine again. Same story everyone is out of everything, she checked a 30 mile radius. I told her I would take the generic I would take whatever even though I would be out of pocket. She then started doing more checking and wen radio silent for 5-10 min. Line of cars backed up behind me and I feel bad for the ones I am making wait for my issue. asuddenly the tech comes to the widow with the name brand bottle in her hand. They had it ALL ALONG! FFS! I am very thankfull that the tech followed up and actually checked the broken system. Most of the time when I have personal interactions with the pharmacist or pharm techs the interaction seems positive. However, the sheer number of issues I have had over the last 10 years with this and other locations is enormous. If I wasn't tied to them through my insurance I would leave. If CVS was an airline there would be a plane going down somewhere every week.

Today's unprofessional behavior: I had a script that I should have been able to fill around June 21. It was June 26, today, Friday, and nothing on my Walgreen's app about this prescription being available. So based on my previous experience (which was atrocious--see my previous review), I called my doctor's office. The nice woman who answered the phone, Maria, listened to what I had to say about not getting this script and my previous "adventure" with this pharmacy. She asked one very good question, "What reason are they giving you for not letting you pick up the script?" I thought that was an excellent question, so around 12:00 (I had talked to Maria at 8 am with no notice that my script was ready to pick up), I called this awful, unprofessional pharmacy (I had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to answer the phone). The person who answered was the head pharmacist; I recognized her voice. I said, "My name is [first name, last name]. My date of birth is [XXXXXX]. I need to pick up a prescription for [X] today. I talked with my doctor; he said that if you have a reason for not letting me pick up my script today, he needs to know what it is so that he can address the issue." That was it. Short, sweet, to the point, no foul language, no mention of the past. The head pharmacist said to me, "So you want to go from zero to 100 right away? Really? That's what you want to do?" I have dealt with countless pharmacists during my 60 odd years; I have NEVER had a pharmacist speak to me in this manner. A pharmacist might be grumpy in tone but professional in their actual words. This was unprofessional wording and in a tone of combativeness!!! I am nobody. I don't even have that many prescriptions in total. I send a friend there maybe 3 times a month to pick up my scripts. Why they have targeted ME, I don't know. Maybe they can't think of a better way to fill their time, add some drama to their deadly dull lives????

I've been decorating my apartment and was shopping for a good clothing rack. I saw that Walmart had a few styles I liked and headed to this particular branch given that I was in the area. Found the one I wanted at $27.97, and took it home. Upon opening the box, I regretted not inspecting it when I was at the store. You could obviously tell it was resealed. The first thing I pulled out was an empty Ziploc bag, then a Ziploc bag with the small parts of the rack. There was no packaging that kept the large parts of the rack safe, and I noticed one of the wheels was damaged. When I took the little parts out, it was missing 5 screws. None of the little tools that was supposed to come with the rack was in there, and no instructions. What?? I ended up returning it and receiving a brand new factory sealed version at a different Walmart. However, I'm still surprised that someone got away with reselling such blasphemy. Do they not check to make sure the returned items aren't broken? Thanks to this brutal learning experience, I'll be checking my products but especially furniture and home decor goods from now on...
