Why I'm choosing a one star for my rating is because of the attitude and disrespect of employees. I am a local worker in customer service around the blue Springs area so I get customers are sometimes frustrating but the lady that checked me out was so unprofessional. I understand being overwhelmed by tasks to do but that is no reason to give young ladies an attitude. I walked in and looked at battery sizes then grabbed cases of soda because there was a deal, when we went to check out these items, the lady rudely asked if we had rewards with cvs, which I do not and will never consider to do so after this interaction. Then she rudely said that the deal was only for having rewards treating us rudely because we didnt know. So we took an item off because there is no deal and me being nice and her being older I was going to take my item back to where I found it. Just before I pick it up and turn around she starts nagging at me to give it back to her in such a rude way. I am a fully functioning adult and I appreciate NOT being treated like a damn child nor talked to with such disrespect. I will not be shopping at this location again because of this. read more

I am very disappointed with this CVS location. I applied for a position with this store as a Retail Associate. I have all the correspondence, in writing, from the hiring manager/human resource personal that indicates I am a great fit and can be utilized by the company. ANY person would believe from these messages that an interview would follow. The hiring manager that I was talking to was Tori. She sent all correspondence by text. She had a very hard time responding to messages and I was eager to get an interview before the position closed. I contacted the store manager, Paul to see about the position. By this time I had been trying for nearly 3 weeks to get a definite date for the interview. I received 5 phone calls from other CVS locations regarding positions they had open and some wanted to set up an interview immediately. I was still waiting on this location, near Woods Chapel and Valleyview Rd, and passed the others up. BIG MISTAKE! After contacting the store manager, I was directed back to Tori. In less than five minutes of contacting Paul, Tori sent a text message to me that all positions had been filled. She previously made it clear of the interest CVS had in hiring me. The text messages prove that. I'm wondering if Tori and Paul's decisions were made after reviewing my application and realizing I have a disability. I had told Tori in text that I would need no accommodations. Then, after calling her out and letting Paul know of the situation, I was not getting an interview or even being considered any longer. I was never rude, just stated facts that could be backed by Tori's text messages! It's been a couple of weeks since this happened. Today, I checked the CVS website and this location has the position open! I tried to login and reapply but they have blocked me from being able to apply for ANY CVS position. Really? You messed up and I'm made out to look the fool! I made one mistake....I let the hiring manager know that I am disabled. I also opted to complete the part of the application indicating such. I'm not ashamed and DO NOT require any accommodations to do this job. I let Tori know the hours I could work and she said that would be perfect (her exact words)! I will be researching avenues to see to it CVS doesn't do this to anyone else! From the reviews here, I see that this location has a hard time with their employees. It appears they need a lesson in being respectful and attentive to customers needs! CVS missed out on a good employee that would have treated customers and employees with decency. read more

The cvs pharmacy staff is always rude and just unpleasant to deal with. I was waiting on a prescription since 11:00 am this morning and went to pick it up around 5:30 thinking it would be ready. I had 3 other items when I got in line to get my prescription and check out. I told her what I needed and was told it was still not ready so I asked her if she could still check out the items I had waited in line with she told me in a very rude manner "no you can check that stuff out at the front" I'm pregnant and have been waiting on nausea medicine so I was just wanting to get in and get out and she was very unprofessional and rude in the way she spoke with me. While checking out tonight at this location, The person that rang up my items was "Bessie" and was no help whatsoever. Someone else needs to be working the registers. Someone that has a helping positive attitude. This lady does not. read more

I had a COVID test- for which you need an appointment. I was on time/early for my appointment and didn't even get to the window until 80 minutes later of just sitting in the drive thru. The person helping took 15 minutes just to verify who I was. The process was ridiculous and such a slow, waste of time. They should adjust their scheduling so that the line doesn't take over an hour. However, though the employees were slow, they were nice, thorough and kind. read more

You shouldn't expect the grandest quality from a convenience store, and you shouldn't expect the worse, either. This CVS is close enough to where I live, too! It's so easy to head down here and grab some snacks and candies! It's also a great convenience whenever I get sick, because this is so close to me! read more

Horrible service from the pharmacy! My 18 month old had been sick throwing up & to avoid taking her inside with me I thought surely the pharmacy staff wouldn't mind letting me get some ibuprofen for my sick child through the drive through. They were not busy at all. They told me I would have to come inside! So I had to take in my sick baby and my two year old. Absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention I spend a ton of money at this location bc if is right by my house! They know me. I'm done shopping there! read more

Very unpleasant visit. Maureen was awful and made me feel unwelcome and stupid. You should fire her immediately and teach your employees how to speak to a customer. You should also teach them if they can do cash back or not because nobody knew if they could and were very unhelpful. read more

Horrible customer service! Bought cologne on Christmas Eve. The lady working said it could be returned with receipt. They had a sale buy 1 get the second 50% off, so I bought two. On Christmas I went to EXCHANGE one of them for a different kind. The lady said the sale is over so you will have to pay full price. I wasn't happy about this because it was originally purchased less than 24 hours ago. Went back to the cabinet where they keep it to get another one and the 50% off sale stickers were all over the place. She still said "I could not get the sale price they just haven't taken them down yet" (.. I was in there at 3pm, they should have been taken down by then if they were not going to honor it) I will NEVER go to CVS for anything again! She was very rude and obviously not happy about working. read more
