As I have a particularly painful condition, I need my meds from a specific manufacturer. This last month a different pharmacist, Michael, claimed to be helping me. All he did was lie to me about the status of the meds, and what my doctor's office said. When I told him I called the manufacturer directly he was not happy and continued to lie about the situation. He then summarily dismissed me and told me they would no longer fill my perscription. He displayed no concern for my situation at all. Michael was rude and lacked professionalism. It's unfortunate as he will destroy the reputation of the pharmacy if he doesn't change his manner.

During that time, the employee at the front watched us and did not say anything to let us know we needed assistance or that we were doing something incorrectly. Instead, the manager came out and immediately addressed us in a rude and passive-aggressive manner, stating that we "can't just use the services" and that it's "not open to the public." When my husband and I tried to explain that we were using the kiosk option, I was cut off mid-sentence in a dismissive way. We were then told that an employee must take the photo. That policy itself was not the issue -- the problem was the lack of communication beforehand and the unprofessional way the situation was handled. If the kiosk presents an option to take the photo yourself and an employee observes customers without correcting them, it naturally leads to confusion. Being spoken to rudely in that situation was unnecessary. After the interaction, the employee took our photos, but the process felt rushed. We were not given time to adjust our hair or posture before the photo was taken, which added to the discomfort of the experience. Overall, customer service at this Bluffton location was lacking. The staff appeared disengaged, and the experience felt more confrontational than helpful. This location would benefit from clearer communication and better customer service training.

Curbside pickup is free if you order $35 or more worth of products on the Website or App. We were running a little late for this pick up (still within the one hour window) but a Walmart Employee called us to make sure we knew where to go and check that we were not lost. This is going above and beyond in my opinion. When we arrived two ladies loaded our car and wished us well. The order was correct with nothing missing. The Pick Up area is to the left of the building in marked parking spots. This is so easy for both Visitors to the Island and Locals.

They're not huge so they may not always have everything you need, but will do their best to get it ASAP. They are also one of the few in the area who can do compounding which is a very lost and dying apothecary skill. Their prices are reasonable. I'm sure I could do better at Walmart, but I'd rather help support our local entrepeneurs.

Costco has earned its reputation as a reliable and well-run company. By comparison, the Sam's Club in Bluffton doesn't come close. In our experience, Costco operates in an entirely different league. While warehouse clubs all compete for the same customers, Costco consistently sets the standard. If you've ever wondered whether Costco truly deserves its reputation, visit the Sam's Club in Bluffton once. On your next trip to Costco, you'll likely feel as though you've entered retail nirvana. There wasn't a single aspect of our visit to the Bluffton Sam's Club that made us want to return. In fact, we couldn't leave the store quickly enough. Come to think of it, even shopping at most Walmart stores is a significantly better experience than shopping at the Sam's Club in Bluffton.
