Called about an item to make sure it was in stock like stated online. Waited around 30 minutes before I finally reached someone. The person helping me sounded distorted. I asked if they could check an items stock and they said they would transfer me over. I was transferred over and almost immediately I was hung up on. Decided to purchase anyway online for pickup. They emailed me about five minutes after I purchased to let me know the item wasn't available anymore. OMG......I dislike shopping at Walmarts. Reasons: majority of workers do NOT speak English!!! Checked out at self-checkout as NO registers opened with Walmart employees to checkout customers. WAITED WAY TOO LONG TO GET TO A SELF-CHECKOUT BECAUSE CUSTOMERS WERE AHEAD OF ME HAVING TO CHECKOUT THEIR OWN CARTS FULL OF GROCERIES INSTEAD OF A FEW ITEMS. One register opened with green light, and I walked up to it to be told this is for online orders only!!! Had 5 customers walk up to this same register and ALL told "they won't let you use this register"! All 5 customers asked why and all were told this register is for online orders only! Asked to speak to a mgr. Someone came over and basically told me it has a sign. The sign does NOT say for "ONLINE USE" only! Hence, just another reason for me to stay far far away from the Walmarts!!! Finally checked out, paid, then error with receipt printing! Hispanic woman walked up and kept hitting clear to remove error, but receipt never printed. Another young girl came over and she found the printer did NOT have any register paper. Finally got my receipt. So, if you're looking for efficiency and to feel like there are educated like minded people around you......well, you won't find it here! It's also a real pain in the *** to deal with NON-speaking employees as well! Horrible customer service, they ALWAYS have an attitude when it comes to doing their job and opening up the cases since EVERYTHING is locked up. Always rude at the front, always snatching items out of our hands when we hand them the ridiculous big size boxes for one little item and just hovers over us as we pay as if we are going to run out of the walmart. ZERO STARS. TERRIBLE!!!! Walmart is woefully understaffed, with the exception of the TEN (10) inventory control personnel in yellow vests who stand at the entrances to the store and "Mad Dog" all the patrons. We are regulars at this store, but no longer. Each week the place goes down hill, especially with respect to the checkers. Yesterday after collecting approximately 30 items we attempted to check out. Literally 50-100 people in line waiting for the two bays with actual human beings. Attempted to use one of the two self check out kiosks areas and was told by one of the workers who should have been manning a register that we had too many items for self checkout. So, we waited 30 minutes to check out. Upon leaving I asked multiple workers that I wanted to see and talk to a manager. Manager hid, would not come out of office and speak to me, and after 15 minutes of waiting we left. Called the store and got the phone mail queue with no direct line to the manager. Chinese inspection at play.....just make them wait long enough and they'll leave. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS. read more

This newer Walmart near Sam's Club is easy to access off Bluffton Parkway so you can avoid traffic on 278. This location is hidden among the Palm Trees. We scheduled a curbside pickup here during this summer's vacation. Curbside pickup is free if you order $35 or more worth of products on the Website or App. We were running a little late for this pick up (still within the one hour window) but a Walmart Employee called us to make sure we knew where to go and check that we were not lost. This is going above and beyond in my opinion. When we arrived two ladies loaded our car and wished us well. The order was correct with nothing missing. The Pick Up area is to the left of the building in marked parking spots. This is so easy for both Visitors to the Island and Locals. read more

Very, very disappointed!!!! I had a very large order, and 1 item was delivered to the wrong address, and 1 item (hamburger rolls) were dry & stale, and several items I really needed were cancelled???? One was toilet paper......so does that mean there was NO toilet paper in the whole store to substitute???? Also, large black trash bags.....you mean to say that there was no substitute available!!!! If I'd gone into the store...there would be options available!!! I am very disappointed with the "shoppers" for my delivery order!!! What a shame, because I have shopped at Walmart A LOT!!!! Walmart workers tell Professional delivery drivers for them they are not allowed insulated bags in their vehicles and must use the trunk. ABSURD. You are required to use insulated bags for professional food delivery and never use the trunk as it is not temperature controlled like the cabin of the vehicle is and it has emergency roadside equipment in it as any responsible driver would have. Insulated bags are a must and orders are not to be placed ever in the trunk. They are to be separated from one another with insulted bags and dividers. Professional shoppers and delivery drivers know this. We are trained to do exactly this. read more

I thought I had already put in a review, but Yelp apparently doesn't believe so. I've never been a big Walmart fan, but this one if much different than those other stereotypes. Great selection of merchandise as well as groceries. Huge variety of fruit and produce, excellent meat section and dairy area. Large health & beauty aid, sports, electronics, etc. Clean store with friendly people working there. There's pharmacy, hair salon and Wayback Burger joint inside. The store is usually clean and bright with good stock. My enormous complaint is that six times in a row my mother that has had both knees replaced and five back surgeries cannot do her shopping because there are no electric scooters! We live in a senior rich community and a corporation of this size should be better prepared! Come on Walmart! read more

Typical Walmart experience. Service is hit or miss, depends on what time you go & how busy they are. We stopped in probably between 8:30 - 9-ish. The store was not busy, so I was able to get in and out pretty fast. I have went to this location for groceries several times and always end up waiting a half hour or more at check out. With all the checkout lanes you would think your wait would be minimal but that is not the case. There are only a few open at any given time. I bet if I opened up some bread and lunchmeat, made a sandwich and popped open a beer they would open all the lanes. This is absolutely the worst service i have ever recieved from any pharmacy, period. After opening and due to the closer location, i switched from walgreens down the road due to the small price difference, but that was the worst mistake ever. Not only is the service and attitude of just about every employee (with the exception of a younger male technicion) absolutely rude, but if you make a complaint against someone for not doing their job properly or FORCING YOU to get a quantity of (5) or more of a very expensive medication with no insurance or generic just so that they can make more money, when you only can afford a partial until the next day, the younger short haired female pharmacist TOTALLY LIED to the others and completely ruined my reputation there with anyone, saying i wanted to get my prescription early, which at walgreens i absolutely never did, nor did i there. She was just very rude and said next time she wont fill it for less, and therefore requiring me to go to the hospital and be in a great deal of pain, not to mention my one and only medication, if stopped will most likely cause severe discontinuation and/or just flat out withdrawl syndrome. I have never in almost 30 years saw a more greedy and money centered pharmacy, with such blatent disregard to customer/patient concerns and health. Please, hear this warning and do not put yourself at such uncaring tyrant's mercy. Please for your own health, dont give them the chance to hurt you and your reputation, once a tyrant pharmacy marks you as bad, for a legitimate reason or not, it makes things so much more difficult in the future to get proper care, due to them wrongfully stigmatizing you as a bad person just due to them not wanting to give you an on time partial of a very expensive medication, that comes in individual packs so there is no reason they cannot do it other than the simple fact they want to make more money. And that fact about the quantity came right frome the short haired young female pharmacist. And lastly, if you do have to end up complaining, like i had the total misfortune to do, be on the lookout for the pharmacy employees listening in, and then going and telling them you are lying, when absolutely everything is recorded on video to prove you are not. Dont let these tyrants stigmatize you to the point of harrassment everytime you have a pickup at the pharmacy. I have heard of other professions relentlessly taking up for their own, even when they are totally at fault, and are completely overstepping their bounds; but never a pharmacy. Walmart pharmacy has always been kind and courteous, but it is sad that this one certian walmart pharmacy can ruin the customer experiance, and totally dissuade someone from ever wanting to return to a walmart store again.
