I went there today to pay a bill through the wips program, and I informed the lady that the scanner only worked at the front register. She got so mad, proceeded to walk to the front register without asking me to walk over...when I met her there she just asked, "How much?"... I told her the amount, then she handed me a receipt and said a fake ass "thank you". CVS...do better and hire non crack head Karens. Thanks. read more

This is a friendly CVS (Compared to the ones in LA) where the people working here seem to know many of the customers--like a small town. One of the things all CVS have in common whether you are in Huntington Beach, Santa Monica, Torrance , Newport Beach, Portersville, Bakersfield, or Buellton is that the restrooms are either closed or in bad condition. It's a CVS trademark--bad restrooms. But Hey--I was just happy that they let me use the restrooms. Otherwise the store seemed to be well stocked and the Cashier was very friendly to me even though I did not know her. Free and easy parking outside. They were also giving Covid Vaccines here. read more

We were on our RV trip and our kids got really sick. We needed to stop by this CVS to pickup Rx for our children. Ofc they dont except Kaiser so the prescription med is out of pocket. I'm just happy that Kaiser would call in Rx to non Kaiser pharmacy providers. For the staff members there, I would give them a five stars. They are very helpful and friendly. The only reason I rated them a four stars is bc of the price. Everything there is so over price. read more

Lady working there was really rude. Wanted to remove one item from our cart (self checkout) and she ignored us for like 5 minutes then came over asked what we needed then when we asked to remove an item from cart she acted really rude, and snatched the item. She was staring at my kid the whole time while he was trying to get some candy and a drink. read more

The prices here are outrageous. It is a crime and a shame that they charge 25 - 50 % more than discount or mass merchandise stores. I understand there is not much out here and not much other options if you are sick or in need of some items, but this is really unfortunate. The plus side is that the staff are really nice. read more

Pharmacy, I had a appointment at 5. This man giving the shots for COVID vaccine showed up at 6 because he went to lunch... Iv skipped lunch a few times work over food... come on pharmacy try to think about others before yourself. Appointments are made for a reason. read more

Sunday Nov 11, 2018. Visiting Solvang from out of town with my 13 yr old son we realized we forgot to pack a swimsuit to enjoy the hot tub at the hotel. Wasn't planning on trying to find one but since we just finished breakfast and happened to be in front of a CVS in nearby Buellton I thought I would stop in to see if by chance we could find some. We walked in and the only person not helping customers just got off the phone so I politely asked "excuse me..." but before I could even finish my sentence he angrily snapped at me (in these exact and only words) "I'm off to a meeting!" as he continued to walk away without the slightest acknowledgement of our presence. Stunned, but recognizing a teaching moment, I explained to my son that is bad customer service. Apparently he overheard me and immediately turned around with even more anger and yelled (in these exact words) "OK, WHAT DO YOU WANT!" His volume was such that other customers and 1 employee nearby took notice and watched. We had an exchange while he continued to be angry and argumentative while I remained calm and tried to set a good example in front of my son. I suspect he was management but can't say for certain. Regardless, this is absolutely unacceptable for anyone wearing a CVS badge to represent the company and the store like this. I rarely have an issue with customer service and this will be the first time I will be making a complaint to corporate. Not sure if he was the person I encountered but the sign in front of the store showing "Eric Demangate" as the store manager. read more

CVS is consistent, reliable, convenient. It's my choice over Walgreen or other "drugstores". This one wasn't any different than any others I've been too and that type of consistency is satisfying. read more

Cashiers continued to talk to each other the entire time I was being helped, the older cashier sighed when she had to ring up my daughters lollipop, like she was annoyed. I was not offered a bag- even tho I had multiple items & when my transaction was through, she turned her back to me- then realized my stuff was still on her side of the counter & just pushed it towards me & continued her conversation w/ the other worker!! Bad customer service. I prefer the Solvang location. Would not recommend. read more

Good store but the customer service is very lacking. Employees aren't knowledgeable and send you other places.

This store can use some merchandising 101. Visual merchandising is everything a shopper sees at a store that hopefully leads to a remarkable shopping experience. This CVS is lacking that! Big time!  They need to work on an environment that sells, one that allows shoppers to relax and consider all the store has to offer. read more

I recently needed to ask some questions of the pharmacist at CVS in Buellton. He was so patient and went out of his way to be kind and yet professional. I wish all of the people working in fields like this were as thoughtful and reassuring. I would recommend Albert Ghaly to anyone who wants to deal with a helpful good person. read more

Had the drugs in stock but refused to fill it because the script was from out of town. According to them everything looked legitimate, but it is store policy not to fill out of town scripts unless they can talk to the doctor (his office was closed on Saturday and sunday). Be sure to get your drugs filled before going to wine country. read more

This review covers both the CVS in Buelton and the new one in Solvang. We live in Snta Ynez and have been satisfied customers of Star Drug which closed in April and transferred our prescriptions to the new CVS in Solvng without consulting us. We needed a renewal last week andhave called the Solvang CVS to ask about delivery since both my wife and I are elderly and concerned about contracting the coronavirus. I was told the Solvang store was not yet set up for delivery, but delivery would be made by the Buelton store if I requested the prescription be sent there. I would get a call when it was ready. No call came. The next day I called Buelton and was told they don't deliver. They only mail and won't do curbside pickup either. So misinformation from Solvang and unsatisfactory service from Buelton! Transferring our prescriptions and other business to Rite aid in Solvang which does do delivery to Santa Ynez. read more

I wish I could give them ZERO stars!!!! The people in the pharmacy are vicious. I don't have insurance and have to use Blink Health for prescriptions - which my doctor thankfully refills for me. EVERY SINGLE MONTH they give me a hard time. First they try to make me pay full price, claiming they know nothing about Blink Health prescriptions. (They know, they just like to give me a hard time. I've been using Blink since late 2016.) Then they'll tell me they "have to look into it" and tell me to sit and wait - and I sometimes wait an hour. They LOVE to shout across the pharmacy, "SHE HAS NO INSURANCE!" I would calmly ask them to please put a notation in my file that says I use Blink Health so I don't have to go through the embarrassment every month. They'll tell me, "Oh yes, we'll put a note in there," but still put on their "show." Every month. My husband didn't really believe me until he came with me one time and watched them go through their performance. They had me in tears.... more than once. Well, now I've moved far far away and I would like to use the local CVS because all I have to do is transfer the prescriptions. When I went in, the woman in the local Pharmacy said, "Oh sure - we have many customers who use Blink Health!" She was cheerful, kind and told me once I had run everything through Blink to just give her a call and she'd get everything ready! Well, she just called and said the wonderful folks from the Buellton CVS told her "they can't transfer both my blood pressure medications" because it's dangerous for someone to take more than one at a time!!!! They need "special authority" to do that. I've been on those two medications for almost 20 years! I've taken them together for that long! I'm fed up - that's why I'm writing such a bad review.... which I've NEVER done before! I guess they just couldn't resist giving me grief one last time. Shame on them. Treatment like that should be illegal. read more
