This CVS has everything I need. It is my go-to if I needed vitamins, makeup, and any other item I need. It is smaller than other branches in the city, and isn't open as late which is why I give it less stars, but customer service is decent-- they will help you and direct you to where you need to be. Never been a fan of the CVS chains but sometimes I HAVE to go in here. Most of the time the shelves are very disorganized and you would spend long time looking for something. The workers are always vague, like someone slapped the energy out of them. Also for a VERY odd reason my Extra Care card NEVER works here yet it works at other CVS stores. Weird much? I told them a few times but they don't bother to find out what exactly is the reason it's not working at their store. Photo center sucks..I had to take a very last minute passport photo here and the guy sat me down, took a picture with his 2002 (probably first ever) digital camera and the printing quality was horrid. I called in to make sure my prescription was ready and spoke to two different very rude women. Finally a third person came on the phone and said it was ready for pickup. I drove out and pretended they had no idea what I was talking about. One pharmacy lady was even smirking about it with her friend. I have never been treated so badly by customer service in my life. Sitting in the line at the pharmacy drive through and no one come to the window. I am able to see in and watch a redhead mature woman pharmacy employee talking to another pharmacy employee. I wait. She continues talking and joking with her co worker. I wait. Finally I beep and she turns and looks and holds up her finger for me to wait while she finished telling her story. Finally she finishes and comes to help me. If this was my employee she would be fired on the spot. Keeping customers waiting so that you can finish your story with a coworker is not ok. I'm sure no one cares about this rant but it's another in the line of customer service screwups by a few people who make everyone look bad. read more

I called Friday and was immediately put on hold. I always am when I reach the pharmacy. I gave up after a few minutes and it slipped my mind to call again because I was working. I never heard back from the Dr like I do when there is a problem so I assumed my son's prescriptions were called in as I asked. Come Sunday morning I called shortly after ten to make sure they were ready because my husband was driving and he hates to be kept waiting, especially if we can avoid it with a phone call. As usual, I am immediately asked to hold. Do so for a few minutes and hang up to try again later. Mind you, I don't have an issue with waiting when I get to talk to a person afterward. However, the wait is always epic and I soon feel forgotten. Today, I cut them some slack for having just opened and waited a good 40 minutes before calling again. When, of course, I am put on hold. Wait a few minutes, hang up and wait to call back later. I had about an hour or so drive and was en route to Burbank so I only wanted to stop here if the needed meds were already filled. The next time I called and was connect to the pharmacy I was greeted with "CVS pharmacy, I'm dealing with a dispute at the window, please hold." *click* Seriously?! We were still a few minutes away but I knew I would be on hold until I got there so I hung up. Maybe it is just their practice to put everybody on hold all the time. We got to the location and pulled up behind the car at the pick up window and unbelievably they were still having the dispute that was mentioned when I was asked to hold. The shortest version is that we waited more than ten minutes before there was a car behind us. After another five minutes there were two cars that came to the drop off and got served while we STILL sat behind the woman arguing. Who, by the way, keeps smoking in the drive through on top of her inconsideration to not have taken her issue inside. Why doesn't the girl at the window even have the sense to ask her to leave the drive through?! If your order holds up customers at a fast food place they ask you to move aside but it would seem at the pharmacy 20 minutes is nothing to have to inhibit other peoples' days. After it had passed the 25 minute mark I call the place. I got a person right away at the front desk and let them know the situation going on at the window. She offered to transfer me to the pharmacy and I emphatically told her NOT to do that because THEY WOULD and HAD put me on hold. A minute or two later the woman in front of us got even angrier and began shouting something about being expected to wait !?! I did my best to maintain my composure as the inconsiderate lady turned her car around (apparently to re-enter the drive through line) and sped by us. Finally at the window we gave her the name and I told her I wasn't sure if it was here. I set aside any irritation in my voice and did not mention that I had tried to call to check. She went to look and at this time we could see that there were three or four other people working in the area with her and were all the more annoyed at the length of the wait knowing it wasn't a lack of staff. She said she couldn't find it and asked if I had called first ?!?!? Then she asks what it was for, so I told her and she replies with "the Doctor can't call that in we need a paper copy." Now I know why there are three inches of glass is between us. Just once, only once, had someone NOT put me on hold and given me the one minute to answer and ask a question I would not have had to wait in line for nearly 30 minutes and call the place and then come home and spend another 30 angry minutes writing this review. To both of the girls at the window, inside and out, get your heads out of your arses and MOVE OVER! In all of my life I could never fathom having the inconsideration to halt another persons day for that length of time over anything that wasn't life threatening. To the management, what kind of policies do you have in effect that will let other customers wait 30 minutes while one staff member dedicates the express window to a single client? When a sandwich is going to detain the car behind you for 3 whole minutes they make you pull up. They know a lot about speed at a drive through that you obviously don't. Or at least haven't explained to your staff. To the woman having a fight over her insurance coverage, you are a discrace, your mother should be ashamed of the manners she taught you. How can you NOT CARE when you see multiple cars behind you all waiting with kids and you've been there half an hour. How can you NOT get out of the WAY, you selfish, arrogant, egomaniacal excuse for a human?! read more

This pharmacy is a hit or miss. Sometimes it's okay, other times it's not. The staff in particular.. There are 2 reaaaaallly really nice/cool ladies that work here (Ms. Ruthie and another young lady), and then some really other semi-bitchy lady. I think she just has no idea what good customer service sounds like, literally. She's just clueless. The others put you at ease, and this one makes you nervous to even ask her one or two extra questions. Hate that. Pickup time is okay, parking is good. Time has made all the difference, and CVS has proven itself to be amazing in several different ways. I love the pharmacy people. The lines do tend to get long Saturday mornings, but that's because of all of the personal attention they give you. They always remember my husband and I and are friendly and courteous. I also am OBSESSED with CVS rewards, I get lots of CVS cash rewards and sometimes come out with a bag of stuff for $5! Watch out for items that give you CVS cash! It will be worth it! I know from the store manager that theft happens at this location every single day which shocked me. It's sad that when people work hard, it's just taken under their noses. PS watch out with the lipsticks, sometimes even the lipsticks with a sticker seal have been carefully unstuck, used, and restock. Yeuch. Stupid people! read more

If you have been in one CVS, you have been in virtually all of them. The only difference is the people that work there. This and my other most frequented CVS location have the most interesting staff. It is nice that this location is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Plus you can't go wrong with obtaining and scanning an extra care card. There is nothing wrong with this place... they have the essentials and a good selection of the non-essentials as well. I come here to pick up things like toothpaste, birthday cards, and candy. Most of the reviews I have read about this place are about how crappy the pharmacy is... to me all pharmacies are the same - understaffed, slow, and gross. I bet the same goes with this one, however you can take that comment or leave it as I have never had a prescription filled here. My experience with the pharmacy, in general but especially the pharmacist that works Monday evenings, has been terrible. Rude, short responses, no eye contact, no effort to answer questions, walking away while I asked questions about my medication... I won't be going back. Not for pharmacy or anything else. I will also be filing a complaint with CVS headquarters over my last experience. They filled my prescription incorrectly, made no effort to fix it and told me to "call around" for answers on getting the (time-sensitive) medication. This is my local CVS and so I have used it far more than I would have liked. The main store is variable: it usually has what I need and if I go in the mornings, the lines are short. Go in the late afternoon or evening and be prepared to wait (and wait). The pharmacy, though? Good grief... While there have been a few good people over the years, the general standard is staggeringly bad. Our prescriptions are cheaper at CVS because of our Rx benefit but I'm getting to the point where I'll pay more just to avoid dealing with them. It's not a question of whether they'll make a mistake but what mistake(s) will it be this month? If you have a single prescription of something common, they might manage to get it done quickly. Anything else though? My last single prescription they didn't have in stock. They told me it'd cost $30 co pay and take 3 days. I returned 3 days later to be casually charged $200+. I queried, they shrugged, I walked away. Anything more complicated than a single and you get into whole new levels of incompetence and lack of professionalism. They've filled part of a prescription but not the rest. They've given the wrong number of pills. For repeat Rx from the MD, they've requested the wrong thing or only part. If there's a problem, they never chase up. If there's an issue, they never bother warning us. If the MD calls in a prescription, they lose it and then claim he never called it in (because I'm going to believe *them* after everything?!) If your situation is in anyway complicated, try to explain and they'll nod and ignore you. I probably need blood pressure pills or maybe a Xanax just to deal with them but they'd probably mess that up too. read more

I went here this morning for my yearly flu shot, and arrived when they opened so I can get fast service. When I arrived and signed-in (electronic kiosk), I found that I was third in line. I thought I would spend 15, maybe 20 minutes to wait, but it turned out to be an hour. I completely forgot that the minute clinic does more than just flu shots -- that you can get almost any service you would get from a doctor in a doctor's office for an exam. I may have even waited alongside other people with the flu, which was not awesome for an hour. Anyway, 3 stars for the long wait (there was only one technician operating, when they had to examination rooms), and I would give 4 stars the technician, Lindsay, for doing things promptly and professionally. But, I think when you sign in, it should tell you what the estimated wait time is. If I knew it was going to be an hour, I would've just left and come back. The flu shot was $32 here. I'm not sure if Walgreens still does them, but I had a better experience going there last year. read more

Sad, there is always a problem whenever I would like to use coupons. I had a $10 extrabuck I got for filling out a survey and I explained the manager that I don't have a printer but he refused to take a photo of the coupon. They know that it is only valid for one time use and if in case someone tries to use it again, it doesn't go through. A photo is a physical copy of the coupon, and his excuse was that the material of the pictures is glossy and that's why they couldn't take it. That was the worst excuse possible. For the most part they're pretty good, they call/text me ahead when my Rx is ready and when I go in they have it ready to go. The only negative thing is the lines can sometimes get long during rush hour times but that's nothing of their doing, so go check them out. read more

I do like cvs in general especially this one because I live 1 block away from it, but I would not like to go back in a long time for late night snacks with my friends only just because they're older. Not 5 minutes ago we got treated like kids with their "new policy" over putting our bags near the doors when we clearly saw everyone else in the store have theirs. AND AS THE ONE MAN WITH BLACK HAIR, SQUARE GLASSES, AND A BOLD COLOR BANDANA TOUCHED OUR PRODUCTS AND IDS WITHOUT GLOVES AND EXPECTED US TO CLEAN OUR OWN BELONGINGS WITH CLOROX WIPES. It literally made my friends and I worried that whatever he touched before we could possibly either way get Covid-19 mainly because we are young adults and have A GREAT CHANCE TO GET IT. Only from now on in the middle of the day I'll still come by mainly with the friendly service for me AND my friends. I probably should've just left as soon as I walked in because when I was waiting in line to ask a question about their photo printing kiosk, the three staff members there were having a conversation and one of them was saying "People take it personal, but it's never personal; i simply hate everyone and that's it" while his two coworkers laughed and agreed. As I mentioned, I was there simply to print some photos for my job and was directed over to the kiosk and got to it. So their printer has two chutes(Internal printers) for the prints; It makes sense though since there are other computers there so multiple people can print out photos at the same time so my guess is that where there is only one person printing then both chutes are used for the job to take less time. The job was completed and as i reviewed the prints, i noticed that the quality of the pictures from the right chute were noticeably bad compared to those that came out the left chute. They were blurry and discolored. I went back in line to mention it to one of the employee's and when it was my turn i was asked to wait for another employee that has more experience with the kiosk to assist me and I appreciated this actually. when the employee was able to help me the from the start she seemed generally annoyed and asked me what was wrong and I told her that the pictures from the right chute of the machine were of really bad quality compared to those that came out the left. She laughed and condescendingly told me "it's only one machine that doesn't make any sense". I began explaining to her how two printers are housed within the machine and that it devotes the printers as necessary based on the amount of jobs in queue and again she just looked at me like I'm stupid and reiterated "ITS THE SAME MACHINE" so i'm trying to keep my cool and I told her that i printed several copies of the same picture and that some copies were printed on the left side and others on the right and if you compare them then you will see how obvious the difference in quality is, so i began to look for a copy printed on each side and shes making these sounds to let me know i'm frustrating her. Once I found a copy printed on each side i show them to here side by side and she tells me "there's a problem alright, maybe if you looked closer you'd notice that those are two entirely different pictures!" what...wat....WOT this lady had called me annoying, stupid, blind and a liar within mere minutes. so i tell her that i'm not stupid and we can go back to the kiosk and open the file in my flash drive to show her that there is only one picture of the people photographed so it's stupidly impossible that i'm comparing two different pictures of the same people as she so dogmatically accused me of. She didn't let me finish what i was saying and interrupted with "OKAY so what do you want then? are you gonna pay for any of them or what are we doing?" I just said i'll take the ones from the left chute and she just shook her head. At the end of this i was just confused as to why the first employee even referred me to her when in reality all she did is look through the pictures i printed, tell me i'm wrong and belittle me. In reality all I wanted to do was bring it to their attention so that they could fix the alignment of the printer and possibly replace the ink cartridges, but I'm not sure if the employee thought i was trying to get something for free or discounted based off her demeanor. I could have said this employee's name, but I won't because i want her to keep working there and offend enough customers so this place closes down. I tend to like to experience places for myself when i see that they receive bad reviews, but this place should be avoided all around honestly, the last thing you wanna do is go to a business where the employee's casually talk about how they hate everyone with a line of customers as their audience. read more

By far the worse cvs I have ever been too. I moved to Burbank last year and cvs is the only close and convenient drug store near me. I went in for a passport photo last week and the manager who came to help me was so extremely rude and rushed my photos . She sent me w blurry pics and I didn't want to complain because I thought maybe she was having a bad day I didn't want to add to her stress. Today I went in before work to buy some products and picked up 2 items that had a yellow sticker thinking it was on sale. After i purchased my items I realized I didn't get the sale price so when I asked the cashier she said the yellow sticker indicated that i was going to get a coupon for that amount. So I asked her to just refund those two items and left . Soon after I realized she shorted me 7$ . I called trying to explain this and a make manager helped me stating I had to bring the receipt in which I did after work. again with such a rude tone he explained how I got paid for that amount because I used my employee discount. I showed him my receipt and stated I was not an employee and never received an employee discount . Finally when realizing they shorted my refund he changed up his attitude and became somewhat nice . Stating he couldn't refund my money because the system wouldn't allow him to do that but instead handed me. A small receipt paper as store credit to use next time. When I explained to him how I just wanted to my money back and how this whole thing was so inconvenient and how their attitudes were always so rude in this store he told me to not shop there anymore. This CVS is alright. It has everything but the only thing I dislike about it is that they always move the store around almost every month and I don't go that often so it's just always a confusing experience every time I go. Another thing is that it is really easy to steal from here, high school students do it all the time. I'm not about that stuff but still their security sucks. I also dislike how slow and dragged it is waiting in line. I am patient but not patient enough to be waiting around 25min with two people in front of me. Will I go here again?
