Pharmacy staff is rude and not at all helpful. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

A 24 hour superstore is always a great place especially when it's conveniently located a couple blocks away from where I stay. The employees might be a little short but I don't mind waiting. Their prices on the otherhand is not the best, but one has to pay for convenience. read more

I think that this is the best CVS in the area because they are friendly and the pharmacy doesn't take forever which isn't the case at other stores in the valley. This CVS is kind of small but it's easy to find what you want. They get crowded at times but the staff seems to know how to do their job. It really is my go to drug store. Cheaper than Walgreens and better staff than other CVS' s around. I've never had a bad experience here. read more

My regular pharmacy. They're always so helpful and on top of everything. Always willing to help, and are willing to find the right answers for me. I appreciate the reminder texts and phone calls. Cannot comment on the rest of CVS, since I only go to the Pharmacy section. I can say that there tends to be MANY solicitors asking for money in front of their entrance. Every time I come to this pharmacy I tell myself that this is the last time I'm gonna come here . Pharmacy department is horrible . One pharmacist two technicians. Pharmacist took a break so techs can't do anything , except give out the ready prescriptions. Pharmacist came back in 15 minutes and told me 20 minutes . I'm here an hour now and my medications are not ready yet . I'm in pain waiting to see when it will be ready . Even one star is too much for them . I like to go to CVS because they have a wide variety of makeup & hair products to select from that are also inexpensive. The pharmacy isn't the best but I've actually had a really good experience with one of the pharmacists that works there. He's a bald Armenian young man who was the nicest person I've ever come across. Before my grandmother past away from cancer last year he would help her every time she went into the store and was nothing but patient and unbelievable sweet! You can tell that he genuinely cares about who he helps at the store. I can't remember his name but he is such a sweet guy! The girls that work there on the other hand can be a bit snappy and rude but for the most part the staff is helpful! read more

So, I don't want to give the full store a bad review, I just want to state that I'm coming to this location less and less due to the "beauty insider" sales lady that pushes herself on everyone who walks through the beauty section. First time I met her, I listened to everything she had to say even if I knew about the rewards and the products that I frequently buy. I was polite and listened. Since then, I've come in several times and she has approached me about the same things and I've had to tell her that I've been informed and I thanked her. Today I walked in to get my face wash and there she was walking toward me and I had to duck out. Like seriously, sometimes I want to just come in and buy my necessities and leave and now I can't without hearing a full pitch. This store is one of the larger CVS stores. This store has a very large selection in all departments. The store is clean. My only problem is that the lines are long, but not long enough to keep me away the store is better than the other CVS stores nearby because of its size. They have a very large medical supplies section. Large enough to rival a medical supplies store. read more

These pharmacists saved my day and my vacation! I needed to get a prescription renewed and decided to transfer to this CVS because of it's proximity to my work. After 3 days of back and forth and my doctor's office not returning phone calls, this pharmacy pulled through for me. I had given up all hope of getting my Rx before I leave tomorrow for a 9 day trip. I didn't even notice how long I stood in line because of the amount of relief I felt at knowing that the prescription in question was ready :D And I mean honestly, (to all those complaining about waiting in line) the only time I haven't had to wait for an Rx was back when I lived in a tiny town with a family owned drug store; so no complaints from me only praises! read more

Horrible customer service. Pharmacists are slow and rude! Waited behind one car when I pulled up to the drive thru pharmacy and they we're waiting for so long they turned off their car engine. Almost after 10 mins of waiting the car in front finally was assisted and left. But right when I got to the window the pharmacist left again without saying anything. I waited an additional 5 minutes before pressing the call button outside the window to get their attention. One of the other rude pharmacists picked up the phone and glared at me through the drive thru window telling me to wait and that someone was going to help me. After another 5 mins of waiting a different girl came to assist me and was very unapologetic by the tone of her voice. The staff here just has so much attitude and no professionalism. My review isn't of this particular CVS store, but rather of the CVS Caremark Corporation in general. They are a dishonest company preying on their innocent customers. They've recently instituted a new policy where they can "order" your discounts, coupons and Extra Bucks in any way they desire for the sole purpose of cheating their customers out of even more money. Their prices on merchandise are absurdly high and when an honest customer attempts to use a discount coupon the company emailed, in addition to another $2 Extra Bucks coupon mailed to their house, their total is manipulated at check out by their computer system. I've been through their dishonesty and attempted manipulation too many times and have caught them cheating countless times. I've decided not to shop at CVS again. They can't send me enough discounts, coupons or Extra Bucks to lure me in again. As customers, we deserve better than this. read more

Never thought I'd write a Yelp review about a CVS, but here we are. I'm a teacher and I needed to order yearbooks through their photo lab. I live near Dodger Stadium and work in Silverlake but I went all the way to Burbank to get the photo books for my students. They were the only CVS after calling about 30 other stores to have the photo books. Not only that, but Darlene and her staff went out of the way to go to other stores to make sure there were more than enough books to print out. Darlene would also call me to let me know that she received my order and had them ready for me to get them during my lunch break. If I could give them 10 Stars, I would. I was getting really anxious about getting the books to my students before the last day of school, but Darlene and her coworkers made it happen! It all started with a call from a lady named Jennifer who helped put my anxious mind at ease! I didn't mind paying the $15 uber back and forth for this wonderful customer service. Even the cashier l who rang me up (I didn't get her name) and complimented the yearbooks was awesome! I am so very thankful for them and their hard work! My students and I thank you!!! read more

If I could give this pharmacy a negative 5 review I would. My wife and I have had the unfortunate experience of needed to fill prescriptions at this location and every time we have been met with bad attitudes. I have never seen a group of people who seem like they hate their jobs more than the pharmacist at this location. If all that wasn't enough they are beyond condescending and actually make it difficult to pick up your prescription. To add to all the fun I have mentioned above, prescriptions will randomly be canceled or placed on hold with absolute ignorance as to why when asked. I am truly surprised any of these people have jobs (which again they clearly hate). My only thought as to why this group of miserable people wake up and go to their jobs is so that their crappy degrees at whatever online university doesn't go to waste. Do yourself a favor and avoid coming to this location as if everyone that works here is infected with Covid-19, cause frankly I'd rather contract that then come here again. read more

It's a very nice CVS, service has always been great. They bring also quite a diversity of over the counter meds, cosmetics, drinks, even decorations. I really like it's location close to Ralphs, Trader Joe's and all other business in the shopping mall like area. They have better prices than the Walgreens across the street. read more

The cashier experience is wildly different depending on the day, time, and who the cashier happens to be. I don't know how many times I can keep saying this about this location in particular. Everyone comes to CVS for the coupons. When I show up and buy a bunch of stuff for the month, and the cashier tells me I don't have any coupons and wants to charge me $100...that's just not right. THERE'S AN APP. IF THE APP SAYS I HAVE COUPONS, THEN I HAVE COUPONS. You also suffer through ridiculous lines when there's 5-10 customers in the store. I was at this CVS location's (Alameda and San Fernando in Burbank, CA) pharmacy today at 4:54PM. I went there right after my urgent care visit. I was suffering in excruciating pain. The Armenian pharmacist and the employees were extremely rude. They told me they will be closing in 6 minutes and that's not enough time to give me my medication. Even when I very politely explained how urgently I needed the medication they could care less. They just suggest me to visit a 24hr pharmacy in Hollywood. Next I went to the Walgreens across the street and guess what, they were closing in a minute, yet they very happily accepted to help me and it only took 2 minutes of their time. I am really sick and tired of irresponsible, lazy and selfish employees. If you are not humane enough to take 2 minutes of your time while you are ON clock and getting paid to help a suffering patient, you are an excuse of a human. These employees attitude is extremely unprofessional in regards to business and non-humane in personal level. Extremely disappointing experience. I would give you 0 stars if I could. read more

This pharmacy is the worst; they only filled one of the two prescriptions my Doctor called in and when inquired was emphatic that it was only 1 prescription. Called my Doctor the following morning to find out they called in both prescriptions at the same time. Called the pharmacy and was on hold for more than 20 minutes, when i finally gave up and called again, explained I was on hold for more than 20 minutes and was advised to call back later. Called later that afternoon to find out the other prescription was called in the day before and it was ready for pick up. An additional prescription was left with them 2 days earlier which had to be ordered as they were out of stock again. Finally received the automated recording to pick up the prescription only to find it was the wrong prescription. Enough for me, this pharmacy cannot be trusted and I will never get a prescription filled with them or any other CVS; taking my business to Walgreen's - they are not the friendliest but at least you can get the right prescription. read more

This review is for my experience at Minute Clinic, not the store. If this is the future of healthcare, we are all in big trouble. CVS has been promoting the newest shingles vaccine; seems like a smart idea to get, right? I called the Minute Clinic main number (which turns out to be their only phone number) and asked if the vaccine was available at the Burbank CVS. I was told that the vaccine was in stock, and that there was currently a 28 minute wait time, but unfortunately I could not be put on the waiting list because it wasn't available. I asked if I could somehow put myself on the waiting list, and was told no. So I hopped in the car and drove to the pharmacy. It turns out there was a waiting list, and several people had signed up, leaving me waiting two hours to see the nurse. If you believe your medical information should be private, this is definitely not the place for you - you are required to check in at a kiosk and input personal info that is in full view of all passersby (and conveniently located next to the liquor department). When it was finally my turn, the nurse was nice enough, and seemed to take a thorough history, asking me twice about any allergies I might have. I answered that I had two allergies and thought she had written them down. After receiving the injection, I was told to wait in the store for 20 minutes, "in case there is a reaction." I noticed that there were odd red marks near the injection site, so I knocked on the clinic door, the nurse looked at my arm, and said "you must have scratched it." After waiting the required time, I drove away from the store. My face started to itch, and I looked in the mirror and saw a bright red rash on my face on the side of the injection. I stopped the car and called the pharmacy. Guess what? You cannot talk to the nurse once you've left the store. There is NO PHONE LINE TO THE NURSE. And the store manager would not contact her. So I had to drive back, feeling awful and panicked that I was having a reaction. When she saw my face, she telephoned a doctor, somewhere, who didn't seem concerned about it. The nurse did not mention the red marks on my arm. When I got home, I read the "history" she had taken. She did not bother listing one of the items I was allergic to, which could possibly have been the cause of my reaction. I contacted my own doctor, whose response to the photos of my arm was that the marks looked like the immunization had tracked up a lymph canal - not "a scratch." Minute Clinic was a miserable experience for me, and I will never use it again. read more

This CVS is the worst. They are perpetually understaffed in the store and the pharmacy is possibly the WORST pharmacy I have ever been too. Most of the staff cannot speak english with fluency. It makes me very uncomfortable because I do not know if they can even read the labels on the medications. There is always a long line. They constantly screw up the insurance information when filling prescriptions and make it so you have to return multiple times. Also once they have your phone number you will get more robocalls than during the last election cycle. The Pharmacy staff has no idea what service means. I came once just before they closed (i had been there earlier in the day, but there was 15+ people in line and only 1 person out of 5 staff was working a register) The pharmacy windows were still open and the staff was crowded around the register talking. They told me I was too late and had to come back. All they had to do was give me my already filled prescription, but they were too busy talking. I now dread going into this CVS For ANYTHING! I am currently working on moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy. read more

My wife went in to have a prescription filled and the guy at the counter was too lazy to call our insurance company to get some information he needed to fill a prescription for her. Even the insurance company said the pharmacist was just being lazy. Horrible customer service. Every time my mom went to pick her my medication there was some kind of a problem. This last time she had been calling for two weeks just so they can fax a paper to her doctor for refill and at the end she had to go get the paper herself. When I told them about the incident they acted as if they don't care. My mom is diabetic and she can't wait for two weeks just to get her medication. They either need to hire more people to be able to keep up with the amount of work they have or they need a better management. At the very least they can apologize for their mistake. read more

I had a quick question to make sure I was buying the correct thing, a quick yes or no, and they had me waiting for almost 10 min before I said forget it and walked away. Three people said be right with you but not one tried to help. Once I walked away then they tried to help me. Nope I'm good! I'll figure it out on my own. Then she went back to her coworkers and was talking shit saying I was rude. Excuse me but the customers come first before your chit chatting. I am in customer service, which they are as well, and if someone wants to ask me a quick question, I stop what I'm doing for a second to answer the question. You should never be rude to a customer. Then the manager that I told what happened to didn't seemed very concerned and just said "well I have some floaters here today". What does that have to do with anything. I was surprised to see so many bad reviews for the CVS located on Alameda near San Fernando. I shop here more since LA banned plastic bags. I also like the spacious parking lot. Shopping here after work is even better as I can get some dinner from Ralphs located in the same shopping plaza. I went to this CVS this morning to get the Folger classic roast. The big can was on sale last week, I missed the sales and didn't want to miss the sales on the 10 oz can this week. I was disappointed that there was no classic roast on the shelf. I grabbed another brand and casually mentioned to Alan, the assoc at the check-out, that the classic roast seemed to be very popular, there was no big can left when I came to the store last week and there was none for the 10oz can this morning. He said he was sorry and would go to the back room to check if there was any in stock. He came back with two cans of classic roast. I ended up buying both of them. Alan is a good employee, he sold one more can as he was proactive to bring two to me. His great attitude is certainly a reason for me to go back and shop at this CVS again. read more
