I went with their whole sub deal where you get a whole sub for $8.49 which came to $9.16 after tax. I had been wanting turkey all day and the taste did not disappoint. Ate half then had the other half the next day. For a sweet treat I went for one of their donuts. I got the chocolate cake donut with a thick chocolate glaze. Or maybe it was a chocolate sauce? Not sure. So the donut itself was a bit dry. Needed some milk which I didn't have but oh well. The chocolate topping was delicious. I ate the dry bottom part first so that I could taste more of the topping which worked out beautifully. Because the donut was kinda dense, I decided to only eat half cause I didn't wanna feel so heavy. Half was enough tho and I ate the other half the next day. I would 100% order more subs from there. There was no line, and staff had time to speak with me, but I was told I would have to wait while they finished assisting another customer. I explained that I could not wait. If Costco is going to repeatedly notify customers that their glasses are ready for pickup, I believe there should be a reasonable way for someone to simply hand over glasses that have already been purchased and paid for. Customers picking up completed orders should not feel like they have become unimportant once the sale is finished. Unfortunately, that was the message I took away from my experience today: the attention was there before the purchase, but not after. I would recommend buying glasses from an optical provider that makes customers feel valued both before and after they pay.

Keep going and you'll hit the restaurant portion of the store which sells a variety of housemade soups, chili, sandwiches, lemonades, and more. The kiddos loved taking a seat at the long bar and ordering their milkshakes and the counter person was as nice as can be. My mac salad just tasted like macaroni mixed in mayonnaise, although by comparison with the wet microwaved sandwich the mac salad was better. I also tried their egg cream soda, but as the photo shows, the waitress could not even be bothered to mix it: so it was chocolate syrup underneath a cup full of soda water, and thats it, which was hard to stir with a plastic straw. Service was bad too. Waitress took forever, never checked on us, spent a lot of time hanging out with the chef, and spoke negatively about customers right in front of them while talking to the chef. And the chef took an insane amount of time: over half an hour to make (including both my group and people ahead of us) less than ten simple, disgusting sandwiches. Worst meal I've had in years.
