These folks are prompt and courteous with service and organization-I'm in and out in ~2 minutes every visit. 4 stars only because based on my experience with the automated system, I've sometimes had delays in getting my refill on time. But the pharmacists are usually able to accommodate a partial refill whenever I need. Check them out!

As soon as I mentioned leaving, the doctor saw me immediately -- which made it clear the delay wasn't due to workload but a lack of urgency. The front staff felt dismissive and unprofessional. When I requested glasses and a pack of contacts, the woman with curly hair interrupted me repeatedly with "hold on, hold on, you are going way too fast" even though I was simply responding to her question of what I wanted which never changed each time I said I wanted just GLASSES AND CONTACTS!! (Nothing about deals or offers or what I could get on the glasses). Before I could even say contacts she interrupted me not once but multiple times after asking what I wanted to order (Which was about three times mind you) and all I said was glasses and contacts!! That was it! I wasn't asking for offers, deals, or extra info -- just placing a straightforward order. Somehow, that was too difficult for her to process. Maybe hire someone that can take a simple order instead of someone that gets overwhelmed by just a simple straightforward order. She acted like it was way too hard to keep up with just glasses and contacts. I couldn't imagine if I had to ask about anything else. I worked in customer service for 8 years I know how hard it can be but if someone can't even take basic request without acting like it's too much for her to handle than you need to find someone who can. I can understand if I was asking a bunch of questions or wanting a bunch of stuff but I literally just ask for glasses and contacts nothing else about info or anything. Working in customer service there was times I had to take many MANY request and questions and process them immediately! I never once told a customer hold on you're going to fast and cut them off! Very unprofessional!!! Compared to other EyeOne centers nearby, this one stands out -- and not in a good way. I won't be returning to the Waynesboro location. PS, (this is the first and last time I go to the waynesboro office. If you are in the area trust me and drive a few more minutes to save you some time and respect and go to the fishersville office or Staunton office. The fishersville office I have been going to for 10 years and has always had friendly staff and doctors who value your time.)

I had already visited other MyEyeDr offices to shop and compare, as I was looking to get a backup pair of prescription sunglasses. I found most of the other offices far more customer-friendly than this one. With the exception of Avory, who was most impressive in her courtesy, professionalism and superb customer service skills, I found the front staff lacking in their approach to customer service. Unfortunately, I did not have an opportunity to work with Avory. However, I continually observed her performance with other customers while I was working with Rashonda. Avory genuinely seemed happy to be working there and always verbally welcomed guests as they entered the office. Other staff appeared to have a perfunctory "just going through the motions" attitude about their work. I am rating this office three stars, rather than only two stars, because everyone seemed to be technically competent in their trade. Thus, if you care only about technical proficiency, then this office is fine. But if you're like me and you want not only technical competence from your eye doctor experience, but a friendly, engaging interaction where you feel welcomed and glad you came, then I don't think the Pantops (Jefferson Parkwy) office is your best option. If you are lucky to work with Avory, then you should walk away feeling very pleased with your experience. Otherwise, with the other front staff, I recommend looking elsewhere. I certainly plan to choose another MyEyeDr office after I pick up my current pair of sunglasses soon! Thank you, Avory, for setting a good role-modeling example for your colleagues. Refill is a nice concept but not for people looking to save money…read more I love the idea of this store but if you're thinking that you can save some $ by refilling your big plastic laundry detergent, hand soap, shampoo or vinegar jugs here instead of getting new ones, you'd be wrong. I would love nothing more than to reuse my Costco sized containers of dish soap and laundry pods, if it's in the same ballpark of what I pay at the store. Sadly, it is not even close. They really have a nice variety of items but you're paying luxury prices for basic household cleaners, soaps and lotions. Vinegar is 15¢/oz at Refill, compared to 3¢/oz at Walmart! Off brand laundry pods are $32 for 100! Epsom salts are 16¢/oz at Refill, compared to about 2¢/oz at Costco! This is a novelty store that caters to people who want to feel good about paying more for their household cleaners, not meant for us regular folks trying to do a good deed while also being economical.

Visionworks urged me to go back to my doctor to have my eyes rechecked, and, sure enough, the prescription was significantly off.
