My experience at this CVS today could hardly have been better. This place knows how to care for patients/customers. It all began when my daughter woke up with strep symptoms. Scheduled for another appointment later in the day, we thought it prudent to have a strep test so that could be factored in to the equation when deciding whether or not to attend the later appointment. We were fortunate enough to find an appointment at the CVS Minute Clinic in Clemmons. Unfortunately, they were out of strep tests. But they did not send us away. Instead, PA Lindsay called around to other CVS pharmacies and located one that had strep tests. Unfortunately, the other clinic had no appointments. I guess we are on our own after all. Nope. Janie, the Care Concierge, drove to the other pharmacy to pick up the tests and bring them back here, where they would meanwhile keep our appointment open and complete it when the tests arrived. Now THAT is customer service. In addition, while I was waiting for my daughter, another employee walked by me and very cheerfully and politely asked me if I needed any help. I stated earlier that my experience could hardly have been better. I do wish it had not taken so long--this took up a good chunk of the day--but I really can't complain about that. How could I? In these days when there is so much sickness and so much testing and so many staff shortages, how can one criticize people who are doing their very best to help you? I can't. I won't. And people like Lindsay and Janie deserve recognition for going the extra mile in being so helpful, compassionate, and for being such thorough professionals. read more

I should've known not to come to the CVS pharmacy, there are a ton of terrible Reviews on this location! I was in the process of transferring my prescription from Amazon to this CVS location, and the process includes CVS having to call Amazon. I did my due diligence and I called at 10 AM to get my prescription transferred, and they said they would give Amazon a call. I gave them eight hours to call them and I called CVS back to make sure the prescription had been transferred successfully, they notified me they were unable to get the prescription transfer due to Amazon's negligence, I ended up giving Amazon a call myself and someone promptly answered, they notified me CVS never called them. I decided it was best to speak in person and I had to drive all the way to CVS pharmacy just for them to be closed. Mind you I did not receive a call from CVS saying what happened with Amazon or anything. They put me on a wild goose chase! Terrible and careless customer service from this CVS pharmacy and I will be going with Walgreens from now on! I'm not sure how any of these pharmacy techs got their job, if you don't know how to complete a simple phone call I'm not sure how you can be trusted with medications and such, how irresponsible! read more

Online system said walk-ins are available at the moment . Drive over to minute clinic and was told not taking walk ins . No one was in line and customer had just left . Doctor proceeded to tell us many are in stand by . No one in waiting room . CVS needs to do better and get their systems updated . Lady was rude . Will not go back ! read more

It's unfortunate to have to give a negative review over one Nurse Practitioner, but she's that bad. She didn't listen to me and incorrectly marked my work physical form costing me a job I desperately needed. When I told her what had happened she took zero responsibility blaming me for her inability to listen, honestly it was the definition of gaslighting. If you're going to be in the health care field the number one thing you have to be able to do is listen to your patients and she did not. The worst part is that they won't even give me a refund so I can get a physical elsewhere to try to salvage this job or move onto the next. read more

This pharmacy is a joke. Got a message prescriptions were ready for pickup. Over 30 minutes later, pulled up to drive through only to be told scripts not ready! Gentleman said he would put a rush on it and should be ready in 15-20 minutes. Drove around to get in line again (first time through line took over 25 minutes)! Second time at drive through took 22 minutes! Scripts were ready this time but there were 5 instead of 2! Pharmacist came to window to ask questions I could not answer because I was getting these for a friend who was too sick to get out! Also, no longer can customers call into this pharmacy! How do they expect to provide decent service? Personally, I think the community would be much better off is this pharmacy closed down and another brand built. I quit using them as my pharmacy several years ago and today's episode reiterated that my decision to switch pharmacies was a great one. This CVS is beyond pathetic. read more

Every single employee is helpful and kind. Even though CVS has adopted the self checkout, there is always someone close by to help if there is a problem. I have several prescriptions so I go there frequently and I have ALWAYS been cheerfully assisted. These people are dealing with hundreds of people everyday, a little patience and kindness goes both ways. They have been so helpful, even with my vaccinations! Up to date because they care! They let me know about self tests for Covid and free masks from the government. I would give them 10 stars if I could! read more

These people are rude. The pharmacist acts like he doesn't have time for you. There's open food wrappers everywhere. My sons prescription was transferred here because publix didn't have it, CVS couldn't FIND it. It took 45 minutes for them to get it to me. I didn't even get an apology. read more

I'm saddened by the decline of this once great pharmacy. Over the last year, they have gotten progressively worse. My prescription is never in stock and this is not an uncommon medication. The pharmacist actually told me it is very common, but just doesn't stock additional quantities. Final straw was tonight. My son needed a prescription for his strep throat. The doctor called it in at 445pm. It still wasn't ready at 6. They never called to tell me it was ready. I tried to call them and let it ring for 12 minutes and no one in the pharmacy ever bothered to answer the phone. Steer clear of this location at all costs. There are soooo many other options in he Clemmons area, why bother with incompetence. read more

My normal pharmacy didn't have what I needed. They sent it to this CVS, which I have used before. I got there about 30 minutes or so after it was sent. I went up to see if it was ready and was told I had to go to drop off because the med had a coupon. So I headed down to drop off, though it had been dropped off by my preferred pharmacy. Of course pick up had no line, drop off has a line. I take the coupon up to the register, and I'm not sure but they had enough info to process a mortgage. After I was done, they said they would now fill it!? So I got in line, and as I wait I am paged that my drugs were ready. My normal pharmacy has two staff, and no odd drop off pick up. This pharmacy had enough staff it made me wonder if they supplied the local hospital. So I'm not sure as to why there were so much wait and issues! I've used Simbrinza eye drops for years.....that is for Glaucoma and I've had it a long time ....when I went to pick it up today the price had went from $64 to $128. I am a widow, fixed income I called Humana they tried to call the pharmacist but he wouldn't fix it, something to do with the formula, I love Shannon and Jennifer that work there but the pharmacist didn't care when I called back to tell them to cancel and that I was moving my prescriptions to Publix! This drop is keeping my glaucoma from getting worse and me going blind apparently this didn't matter! read more

This used to be my pharmacy for years but has declined to the point that I just... I just can't! I waited 4 days for a prescription because I was told they were going to have to order it. No calls no texts in 4 days. So I called the pharmacy to which I was told they don't know if, or even when they'll ever get it!?! Very unconcerned about it. Do not go to this location. The nurse, Amy who is doing the covid testing is horrible and extremely rude and has absolutely no empathy. I scheduled an appointment for 1:10 yesterday to have a covid test. I arrived in the designated parking spot at 12:50. The nurse, Amy, who was doing the testing came out of the testing building at 1:52 to speak to a patient parked next to me. At 1:02 she called me from a blocked number and left a message stating she would call me back in a few minutes for my test. She never called me back. At my appointment time, 1:10 she came back out from the building again and took another patient who was parked on the other side of me. At 1:19 she exited the testing building again and I asked her when I would be seen, as my appointment was at 1:10. She said I was late and would have to reschedule, she would not let me speak and was extremely rude. When I did try to speak to her to understand why she was being this way, she told me to leave and that I was cutting into her lunch break. I can't believe that CVS would have someone who is so rude and disrespectful, working with the general public especially with people who are sick. It doesn't matter if you're a nurse or not, you don't treat people the way she treated me yesterday. read more

First let me say NEVER AGAIN !!!!! My regular CVS could not do what I needed said I had to go to one with a "Minute Clinic" which should be called a 1 Hour Clinic. Also told me to check in on line for quicker service, which I did, The first thing was a 57 min wait and it did not even open back up until 2:30 pm. When I arrived I found a big pain in the behind just trying to get into the parking lot, one way streets and one drive blocked off..... Then I walk in with another person coming in BEHIND me. I spot the Minute Clinic sign but there is nothing there except chairs and a computer, not what I was expecting. The computer had my name at the top of the list and said I was next. The person who came in behind me said do you need to do this and pointed to the computer and I said I don't know what I need to do since I have never been here before. She stepped over to the comp. and begin entering her info. This process took well over 10 mins. while she was still doing this the apparent Minute Clinic person came in and went into a little room. He sat there with the door open while she finished 5 more minutes and never spoke to either of us. When she finished he called her in. She did tell him I was first but he told her to come on in. I stepped up to the comp and had to re-enter all the same info I had had to enter earlier on my phone WHY ??? and sat down. Now my phone says my wait time is another "47". I waited about another 15 and decided this was a crock , I've wasted almost 2 hours when All I needed was a shot that would have taken 30 seconds. i got up and left knowing I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE FOR ANYTHING !!!!! read more
