Super cute little store and coffee shop in DTWS. There is parking on the street or if you cannot find some garages close. The staff was very friendly and very nice. We stopped in while we were running errands downtown and got a cup of coffee and sat and chilled out. I would recommend.

Out coffee shop hopping downtown and came into this lovely little treasure. Had a total locals feel and so many different shopping experiences to try. They had a sandwich bar in the back, frozen refrigerator isles in the middle of food, and a coffee bar area in the front. I ordered a soy latte and it was so good. My husband said his drip coffee was a good brew and he enjoyed it. It was such a cute set up and we felt so comfortable there. The barista was welcoming and friendly. They know how to make coffee here. I'll be back for sure.

More Praise for the Perk People Washington Perk employees consistently go above and beyond for their customers. I am recovering from lung cancer surgery and am essentially homebound for the next two weeks. I received a surprise delivery this week. A Perk employee delivered a smoothie, sausage biscuit, and a paper bag stuffed with goodies and signed with get well wishes from the morning crew. Among other items, the bag contained a stuffed unicorn and a giant grape Laffy Taffy. Grape Laffy Taffy's are my favorite candy, and I routinely visit Perk several times each week to purchase the small version. When Crystal, the owner of Perk, learned of my affinity for this candy, she ensured they were always in stock. Sadly, the small grape Laffy Taffy's have been discontinued. I was excited to get the giant grape Laffy Taffy in my gift bag, and even more pleased that Perk now stocks it. They added it just for me so I can always have my favorite candy. This gesture shows that Washington Perk always goes the extra mile to provide exceptional service and care for its customers. In conclusion, if you seek a dining or social venue that highly values its patrons, Washington Perk is an excellent choice.

    Fluffernutter!!!!

Pretty good breakfast bagel sandwiches at a very reasonable price. For under $5, I had Pat's Special, an everything bagel packed with sausage, egg, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, spinach, tomato and red onion. The bagel was soft and fresh, and the sandwich was pretty filling. The bacon, egg and cheese bagel was also good but much smaller than the special. I also had a drip coffee, and noticed their coffee prices are much lower than most competitors nearby. The coffee was good, but I prefer a dark roast and this one was a medium roast. The rest of the store is pretty cool with fresh produce, dairy, dry goods and a nice selection of beers and a few wines. There's a deli in the back with bagels, sandwiches and salads. It's perfect for those staying in nearby hotels, or a quick grocery needs for nearby residents. We also got a Fluffernutter sandwich... just because nobody ever has one on the menu.

Had a great hot beverage and enjoyed spending some time with a friend while having a hot apple cider. The service was fast and she gave me a small cup of ice so I would have it just in case the drink was to hot to drink. We enjoyed this cute little place it was very nice and clean.

Way too much for a bagel. 6.50 for a bacon egg and cheese bagel SOUNDS good, but I swear I couldn't taste the bacon or the egg or the cheese. I really only tasted the bagel... maybe I need to go get checked for covid! I just won't go back - the place is cute tho

Delicious hot coffee and tea! It will definitely perk you up. It is attached to a cute little bodega that will meet all tour needs. Located downtown so it's not far from all the local hotels.

Excellent just excellent. It's a five. We are staying up the street at the Marriott and slept in and missed the breakfast at the club. So thought we would walk around and checkout the neighborhood. This place is just down from the Marriott. We had 6 in our party. We all tried different things. Basically cooked to order. See my photos. The kitchen is in the back. Fill out your order and hand it to the cook. Pay at the counter.

Pretty good sandwich, cool shop. Slightly disappointing the sausage was a frozen part type.

(4.25) O'Brien's is the kind of classic deli every city…read moreshould have. It's a small space - a few tables inside and a few tables out - but don't let that or the line you are likely to encounter deter you. They crank out sandwiches quickly here. Said sandwiches include about two dozen hot and cold offerings as well as the ability to build your own. The meats are Boar's Head, but the desserts and soups are made fresh in-house. Check out the display case for salads and sides that might catch your eye. O'Brien's prides itself on its Reuben, and so I went with the "mini" version (a quarter rather than a half pound of meat) with a pickle for my first visit here. Ordering at the register was a breeze, and I was fortunate enough to snag one of the tables for dine-in. Though I was a bit skeptical that the Reuben would match the hype, it delivered. I don't know that it is without a doubt the best version I've had, but it is definitely up there. The grilled rye was nice and crisp, and I appreciated that they used both mustard and Russian dressing. That, plus the meat, kraut, and melty cheese, made for a very satisfying bite. At $10, the sandwich proved a good value, too. Unpretentious and nostalgically comforting (for Northern transplants, at least), O'Brien's is a well-oiled sandwich-slinging machine. Though that Reuben will be hard to top, I look forward to giving one of their other offerings (maybe a Cuban, maybe a Spicy Italian) a try.

Death, Taxes, and the classic Reuben from O'Briens Deli. All certainties, but only one of them…read moreenjoyable. When anyone asks me where to find the best reuben in Winston, I tell them go to the place that proudly proclaims in their window that they are "The Home of the Reuben" and can back it up... O'Briens! It's a small place, a few outdoor tables, and probably 6-8 inside. They do a lot of to-go business, for good reason. The lunch crowd will never shy away from a sandwich here... of which I have had several. But the reuben indeed stands alone. One of the keys to their success is a happy and engaged staff. The owner, Josh, realizes this and takes great care of them. He believes his success should also be theirs, and that is evident in their demeanor. On to the Reuben. Why is it so good? The pictures really say it all. Corned beef stacked high, with a good ratio of kraut, swiss cheese, deli mustard, and grilled Jewish rye bread. Visually impressive, leads perfectly into orally outstanding. You'll be full and happy, and wondering why you'd order it anywhere else. Not to mention, check them out around St. Patrick's day for traditional Irish stew!
