I returned to CVS to make purchase I was unable to complete earlier in the week because the pos wasn't working. The worker,a younger man, told me it is because my card was damaged.(It's not.) I went back to the pharmacy & there was a long line of people waiting to be rung out, so I left. I go back today. Same employee same issue. Again he told me my card was damaged. I told him it was their pos & I told him he should notify his manager. He replied "It's not my job." I asked how is it not your job to notify a manager that what you need to do your job is broken. I proceed to talk & he interrupts me everytime I was me I was being rude. I assure you, I was not. And even if I were it doesn't warrant him being rude & unprofessional. I was in corporate customer service, sworn at, called names,screamed at & I was never rude. Because no matter what, my job was to provide a excellent service to clients. When I asked the young man if the pharmacy was open, he told me "I'm not going to tell you because you were being rude." I then requested to speak with the manager. The manager confirmed the pos was not working & had been problematic since they have been installed. I explained I patronized CVS for years & I have never received rude service. It's clear cashier 1322688 does not want to work. He was content with the pos not working which is why he didn't report so he wouldn't have to ring people out. Not reporting an issue that does not allow you to do your job is theft of time. Additionally, he told me he wasn't going to provide me service. To me,that's quitting your job. If he isn't emotionally stable enough to handle a calm customer, I can only imagine how he would handle angry customer because he is reactive & escalates situations, when he should be deescalating. I've been going here for years. I have a disease that was only discovered in the late 90's. They've worked with & my "unusual" doers prescribed as well as insurance woes. I appreciate all they do. They're not perfect, but who is. I thank them & wish them God's Blessings. read more

This is the second busiest pharmacy in the State of Ohio. It processes more prescriptions than University hospital 2 miles away. This department of 1 pharmacist and 3 assistants fills more than 10K scrips (A script is the written form of a play or movie, the diminution of prescription, Is SCRIP) a week. So I try to be mindful of this when I go an ive never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a prescription to be filled. 0 stars if I was allowed to. The pharmacy is only open if the pharmacist decides to work when they choose to work. Patients who have critical medication to pickup cannot get access to scripts. The scripts are held in limbo within their system so they can't be transferred to another location to even possibly be filled. Managers have no clue how to help anyone & the rest of the staff has no desire to be of any service. This location is a joke. read more

I have been using this CVS for about a year. They have decent hours and a decent selection. The pharmacy staff is helpful and I typically never have an issue with refills. They send phone call reminders when your prescription is ready which is nice. I also like that they are fairly relaxed when it comes to a family member picking up a prescription for you. The only reason I give this 3 stars is because of the customer service throughout the rest of the store. This location seems to be understaffed more often than not. It's difficult to find a person on the sales floor if you have a question. When checking out, their staff is extremely hit or miss. I've had very friendly people cash me out but then I have also had staff that acts like you are an inconvenience. I also once tried to use their photo services and it was an absolute nightmare. CVS Pharmacy at Shaker Square used to employ people with great customer service. However, it is one black young girl in particular, who is very rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. I don't know her name but I feel sorry for anyone who is unlucky enough to encounter her via drive thru or counter. Currently, - end of January 2019- she is wearing faux locs or braids in various colors; works in the evening; and acts like she doesn't care about keeping her job. Walked in to have a script filled. Was told to wait in line. They checked my insurance which did not apply until the next day. Mind you: I am new to the area and the Pharm Tech was told that. 10 days without my meds. Sveta told me to pay 20 dollars or pay 11.23 for one pill. Wait a second! Every pharmacy in the World will give you a pill or two if you are out of your prescription, out of town and can't get it filled. She asked me to get back in line. OK. Now I have had it. Asked to have the prescription refunded and requested to have another pharmacy fill it. She replies "well, no I'll just give you one if you agree to come back tomorrow. " How ghetto. What trash. I ask to speak to a manager and some 18 year old kid who speaks up does nothing. Stay away. What an amateur pharmacy! read more

The only reason I go to this CVS is because 1.) my prescription plan is through them, and 2.) it's within walking distance to where I live. Parking isn't exactly convenient as there are only a few spots in front of the store, if they are available. Otherwise, you have to park in the back parking lot, which is a bit of hike to the store. This isn't a problem for me, but it sucks in the cold and rainy months, and might be a problem for people with mobility issues. Also, the pharmacy never receives my request for refills. I usually have to call it in a couple times before they actually fill it. Also, they take DAYS to fill your script. I will call the automated system, request pick up in 2 days (to give the pharmacy time) and it will take 3 or 4 days to get my meds. Let me tell you what happened this past week... my doctor calls in two prescriptions on Tuesday. I get a text that they're ready on Wednesday. I make it over to CVS on Saturday. They only have one of my meds ready. They said they can have the second one ready by Sunday, the next day. It is now Tuesday night and it is still not ready. We're on day 7 now, I'm out of one of my prescriptions, and we're supposed to go into mandatory government lockdown tonight due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, I know that going to the pharmacy is an exception to the government order, but I really don't want to go out during a pandemic anymore than I have to since I have a compromised immune system. Thank God I get my birth control delivered through the mail. Otherwise I'm sure this CVS would screw it up and I would be pregnant by now. Also, the drive through is slow AF. It only takes me a couple of minutes to pick up my script. Seems to take other customers over 15 minutes. If they're letting customers sit at the drive through window to wait for their scripts to be filled, they shouldn't do that. Have the customer pull around in another 30 minutes and get to the other cars in line. FFS, it's not that hard to figure out. read more

This pharmacy has gone from not too bad to pretty terrible. The pharmacy techs have repeatedly given me incorrect information. It has also been necessary to wait to get orders corrected that were filled incorrectly. One problem was so bad I called CVS corporate. I was supposed to get a call back from the district manager but never did. No one seems to care. read more

Argh. More than once, I have put through an order Shutterfly, only to find the machine is broken in the photo department. This time? I called ahead to check, in order to save a trip. Once I finally got through the maze of phone tree? I asked the question, only to be hung up on. I wish this was an "extra ordinary" situation.
