March 2023 I was feeling under the weather and was searching for a facility that had covid/flu testing. I went online and it looked as though this location had both, but to be sure I called to confirm. I was on hold for 15 minutes. That is way too long. They should have at least picked up and asked to be placed on hold. When I arrived in the drive thru, there was a car in front of me. My appt was scheduled for 10:45 and I waited for a few minutes so I wasn't seen promptly. The pharmacist asked if I have ever taken a Covid test before and I said yes, but that it had been awhile so he walked me through the steps. I was impressed that my results (negative) came back the next morning. If you are short on time, I would not suggest this location for appointments unless you go inside. Also, be prepared to wait awhile if you are trying to reach them by phone. read more

My brother is a pharmacist, so I know just how stressful the job can be, especially during a pandemic stricken year. I want to commend the Lynx Lane CVS Pharmacy Dept because all of my experiences have been wonderful. From visiting new doctors to new medications, getting my 'scrips filled has been nothing but seamless here. No matter the time of day, including the dreaded 5-6pm hour, I've yet to experience a line. Today's experience showed me just how attentive they are (again). When ringing me up, the nice tech noticed I had no refills left on my specific medication and offered to reach out to the prescribing doc's office. No need since I was meeting with the doc again soon to reup, but the proactive offer was certainly appreciated. That's the kind of tech I'd want filling my meds. FYI - not only can you walk up to the counter, they also offer drive through pick-up, with covid testing. read more

Almost unimaginable levels of incompetence, broken systems that also don't seem to talk to each other, an app that is next to useless...I finally fired them today and transferred my Rx to another pharmacy. Both Caremark mail order and CVS local store - completely unacceptable. read more

If I could give this store no stars, I would! I called this dreaded pharmacy and waited 15 - 20 minutes on the phone until I spoke to a pharmacist. The long wait time, where I listen to elevator music, is frustrating, but I have learned that is often the case. Finally, a rude and disrespectful male pharmacist answered the phone and I asked about a refill. He told me that they need to fill "thousands of medications and are 9 days behind." He then told me he could get me my meds if "I just give him my name", again in a harsh tone. He was talking to me as if I was an annoying child asking for more dessert. This experience was unnecessary and not a store that I want to deal with in the future. I quickly transferred my meds over to the CVS in Clarksville. To the Columbia CVS pharmacy - Please do not treat me poorly because of the conditions in the store. Do better, and to that pharmacist, do not speak to any woman or person that way. read more

This pharmacy is by far the worst I have encountered in all my days. I called multiple times, no answer. Once I made my final call, I stayed on hold waiting for a representative to take my call, for 47 MINUTES. No one from the pharmacy informed me that the prescription was not in stock. No one would even pick up the phone for me to transfer the prescription. It was beyond frustrating and unbelievable. So disappointing to experience such terrible customer service. read more

I guess they must have had a spate of robberies or troublemakers in recent weeks, because we were treated like criminals when we came here last night. The security guard followed us around and asked us if we intended to pay for our stuff before we'd even finished browsing. This has never happened to us before, anywhere. We will not be coming back. Terrible. My friend went to pick up a print out of a electronic RX sent to them so he could fill at Walmart who gives a better price. He forgot to ask doctor to send to Walmart. He was refused the print out of the RX. Outrageous. There is no law that says he can't have the electronic print out. They just are muscling people to fill with them. This was not a controlled substance. I'm a former pharmacy technician and I know what I'm talking about. I printed electronic RX s all the time. It's common. This happened at CVS Lynx Lane Columbia MD. You just lost my business Forever. read more

I'm upgrading my review. I was in the store on a Saturday and they had a LOT more employees and they were much more customer service oriented. It was a very different experience. Came here to get my mother her Covid booster and flu shot and was turned down... very annoyed they weren't even busy, no one in line or waiting for a vaccination.... They said you had to make your appointment on line. No wonder this place has a 2- star rating! read more

I am blown away by how quickly I was able to get a flu shot at this location! On a whim, at 6:15 PM, I booked a flu shot appointment for 6:30 PM using the CVS website. I was able to enter my insurance info on the site. I went to the pharmacy counter at like 6:28 and could tell they were very busy. I figured there is no way they'll actually see me at 6:30. The guy asked for my name and found my appointment. Told me to have a seat and, sure enough, the pharmacist, Jaeyeon Kim, came over a couple minutes later and gave me my shot. I was out by 6:40! Easy peasy! They give you a $5 off $20 coupon for getting the flu shot there too! :) read more

I've never had an interaction with an employee or filled a prescription here, so I can't speak to the service or the pharmacy. However, I do prefer this location over many others as it is relatively more modern-looking than other locations and generally not too busy. I've never had an issue with parking or anything of the sort, but I appreciate the self-checkout kiosks. I do want to say that the checkout area is super cramped and poorly laid out, in addition to the coupon machine always being broken, but generally this isn't the worst place to quickly pop in and grab a few items I need. read more

This place isn't safe. The last three times I've been there, the pharmacist was wearing her mask under her chin. Was she maskless when she filled my prescription? Did she cough on it? I'm moving on to a different pharmacy. Convenience is no benefit if you are dead. read more

The two stars: The photos are high quality and this is the easiest place to get them done. However, I highly recommend ordering them on a computer at home and not from their kiosk in store, it crashes often. The 3 missing stars: Ordered my photos online (ready in 1 hour) and when I arrived for pickup (45 mins after they should have been ready) they were not done. The printer had run out of paper and no one refilled it. I don't know what they expected to happen when I showed up but after the 10 mins it took to refill the paper they started printing again. It has been over 2 hours and I am still waiting. This whole time there is a line of 7 people behind me waiting to checkout because he is the only cashier working. They need to check on the printer more often and make sure that the hour deadline is met. read more

While this CVS is convenient, it is awful. Parking is super limited. They never have more than one person at the registers, so you should expect a solid 15-20 minutes in line. Their shelves aren't well stocked. However, I've never used their pharmacy. read more

We love CVS We get our flu shots there and it saves time from making several appointments for the kids dr and mine. They are close to the home and they are fast and courteous. We have never had an issue. Keep up the good work. read more

I was excited when this location opened. I use this store for all quick grocery and my pharmacy. All shelves are always stocked and pharmacy service is amazing. Sadly there men's bathroom looks like a city center high volume traffic bathroom. In few words. It's disgusting!! read more

With a large family we always seem to be fighting off something the kids caught from daycare. This pharmacy would always fill things quickly and be very helpful. The past six months have been terrible. We get text messages saying they were ready we show up hours later and they either lose it or "are still working". This has happened so many times we now can't trust anything they say and have lost complete confidence. read more

Not the greatest customer service. I have to use this pharmacy due to my insurance coverage and it's too bad- I would prefer to go almost anywhere else. Some of the staff act like I have a lot of nerve getting my sons' prescriptions filled! I was told 20-30 minutes so I waited. Still wasn't ready 50 minutes later and the employee told me "it was just sent over 5 minutes ago" not knowing I had brought the script myself and kept track of the time I left it. This pharmacy is horrible. I always have to return multiple times for my scripts. The automated system is inefficient. It tells you they are working on your prescriptions and when you go to the pharmacy they have no clue about the script being worked on or processed. I've decided to place all my scripts else where. This review is just regarding the pharmacy. It's a good store otherwise . Be careful that if there is anything missing or hard to read on your Rx from your doctor, this pharmacist, who might be inexperienced, will refuse it. CVS always seems understaffed, with overwhelmed salesclerks. I went to get my passport photo, and the salesclerk was annoyed and irritable. While I understand that there was a long line, her demeanor was completely inappropriate for someone in sales and customer service. read more

Went back again today around 5:30 PM for a prescription that had been called in the night before. It was promised to be filled by noon. When I got there it still wasn't completed, and I was told to please not block the drive-thru while I waited. They said pull the car around, wait a few minutes, then pull my car around again. This indicates they STILL do not have a enough people on staff to complete their orders within even one business day's time! I parked, went inside, and found 4 people waiting in line to be served, with additional cars in the drive-thru. When I asked the manager why it hadn't been filled in a timely manner as promised, he simply said he guessed they "got behind" and was uninterested in trying to find out what caused the delay. Unfortunately, my insurance does not allow me to get prescriptions filled elsewhere or I would gladly stop shopping there. Caremark ONLY covers CVS for maintenance drugs. If and when service improves, I'll be happy to re-post a positive review. For now, they remain in my opinion, understaffed, and completely uninterested in producing better service. read more

I ran out of a medication that I needed immediately. I thought that my nearby CVS pharmacy had filled the prescription. They hadn't. After calling ten CVS Pharmacies in the area on a Saturday, I finally called this one and spoke to a very kind pharmacist named Griffin. They were very low on this prescription but were able to break up a package and give me one bottle immediately. I thought the staff was very professional, helpful and courteous. I am very appreciative of the staff's kindness. I would highly recommend. read more

I have been going to this pharmacy since it opened on Lynx Lane. I have found ALL the pharmacists and staff more than helpful. They are very good about calling you to let you know when you have a prescription ready for pickup. I have had to ask questions about my medications to my pharmacists and they have always been very knowledgeable and helpful. The technicians are very nice and knowledgeable as well. I had a chance to change my drug plan to a less expensive plan, but it would have meant that I had to go to another pharmacy. I chose to stay with the pharmacists on Lynx Lane. I highly recommend them. They are very caring, and it doesn't take them long to know your name when you walk in the door. Very happy with them. read more
