Deep gratitude for Ian at Twin Knolls Tonight could have gone very differently for my diabetic cat -- and for me -- if it weren't for Ian at the Twin Knolls Walgreens. I was scared, stressed, and completely out of insulin after another Walgreens closed hours earlier than advertised. Ian spoke to me with such kindness and steadiness. He said, "Miss Walton, let me see if I can help you out," and those words alone calmed me. Then he came back with, "Great news... we've got several extra Lantus pens in inventory." He didn't stop there. He told me he'd try to push it through, and when he returned with, "Great news, Ms. Walton! I was able to push it through for you! We've got you covered," I genuinely felt the weight lift off my chest. People like Ian make all the difference in the world. He turned a crisis into relief with compassion, competence, and heart. Do not go here for fed ex drop. They have a package dimension restriction, but no one can tell you what it is. The package has to fit in a shelf. My package would have clearly fit on the shelf and they couldn't explain why they couldn't put it on there. Go somewhere else. read more

Without permission, they auto filled a prescription without my OK. They then filled a prescription without permission that cost me $500. And when I questioned it, they said oh that's not us. That's the main office. Could not go to another pharmacy to check price because they had already filled it. Numerous things they are sleazy. read more

Fortunately for me I rarely need a prescription filled because this Walgreens Pharmacy is obviously uncaring of their clientele. I was deathly ill with the upper respiratory/head inflection going around which was quite obvious as I sat at the drive-thru to pick up my meds. I asked if the person at the window if she could grab a box of Sudefed from the shelf near the pharmacy and was promptly told no. She said I had to come in or use curbside, which which could easily take an hour plus! Knowing I didn't have the stamina to wait I was forced to walk into the store hacking, coughing and spreading my horrible germs to THEIR staff and other customers. Under these circumstances the staff should be able to make an exception especially since the item requested was ONE item mere feet from their dept, it would have taken 20 seconds, max! Walgreens should rethink their policies if they plan to remain competitive since other pharmacies are accommodating--customer service is still important and staff should be able to use their better judgement to help as needed, unless she was just lazy and didn't want to be bothered. I feel this should be an option. pharmacy staff (people who answer the phone) are rude, place on hold with out asking ,have a disgruntled demeanor on the phone. act like it's a problem to find out answers to your questions. this most recent time I actually got hung up on. and I don't mean accidentally. I came by for curbside pickup. This location is sketchy. There was a cop out front patrolling and lots of people just hanging out and loitering. The lot isn't very well lit either. The person who brought the curbside order was not in a good mood and made sure to make that clear. I had 3 orders and checked in on the Walgreens app and he brought out just 1 and said a lackluster and insincere greeting. I asked if the bag had all 3 orders and got visibly irritated as he hesitated and then went back to check. He came back again and brought the other two orders out. It took a lot longer than expected from checking in on the app to receiving the curbside order. I might as well stick with the two closest to home (this time I had to come to the Columbia location because the ones closest to me didn't have the products in stock that I wanted). read more

Do not use the Allpoint ATM. Just today I tried to withdraw $40 and only got $20. I asked the clerk for help and she said there was nothing she could do and to call the hotline. So I did. They were useless too. I ended up having to file a dispute with my financial organization. As of now I am out $20. This is just speculation but the clerk at Walgreens was acting like this has happened many times before as she knew immediately what to say and do. If that's the amount of responsibility they take for an ATM they harbor in their store, then you should avoid the Allpoint ATM there at all cost. Fair warning. read more

This store staff is completely unprofessional hideously ghetto! The manager hollered as I'm coming through the door, 'Will you be using cash or card?' I looked around and perceived she was speaking at me, as I was the only one in the store. I answered with cash. She then yelled to the photo center clerk, 'Well I'll just have to reopen the drawer for this customer for you, after I just shut everything down!' And proceeded to walk to the back with a gentleman. The whole entire scenario stems from my confirmed same day order of photos were still not processed. I asked to speak with a manager then out comes the gentleman who was originally outside smoking and walking around posed as the manager "DJ". Who then gives bogus information about why my confirmed photo orders are not complete, referencing I can just come back tomorrow. When I asked who and what title of the woman was in the back with him he avoids the questions and said if I have any thing further call 1800WALGREENS and leave a message for his District Manager Nadia. Here all can see my order confirmations state time and date of pick ups. When I offered to show these to the said Managed DJ he said 'I don't care what an email says. I know that's not my problem and just come tomorrow.' Thank you Walgreens for such concerned customer driven experiences rendered by the shameless folks who care nothing about the consumers. Incredibly rude pharmacy staff. I came in to get a flu shot the only free time I had after a 12 hour night shift. I was 30 minutes early for my appointment and immediately the staff rudely told me I'd have to wait till the exact appointment time. Then I had issues with the confirmation of my appointment and couldn't reschedule online. The pharmacist at the computer "helping" me didn't even look me in the eyes while he rudely spoke to me and said he couldn't help. No apology, no understanding or offer to find a solution. Absolutely no kindness or empathy. It's unbelievable and sad to me that a human could treat another human like that. I work in healthcare and there is a compassion that patients should be treated with that this staff did not show in the slightest. Please do not ever visit this location. Perfectly fine as the formula for Walgreens goes. They are A-OK at executing the standard Walgreens formula. Personal care, over-the-counter medicines, cosmetics, candies and snacks. Even a bunch of fridges and freezers with cold drinks and microwaveable meals. read more

This is an awful pharmacy. I wish I read these reviews prior to coming. Long wait times, medication always out of stock, and no information provided regarding when medication will be back in stock. Was encouraged to drive to other pharmacy multiple times to find my medication. No assistance or attempts to be helpful or empathetic to this issue. This pharmacy has still refused to transfer my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. This is absurd. Beware before you attempt to go this this pharmacy. They have a multitude of issues. Do not get a Covid test here. Go to a CVS or Urgent Care. I got tested and 48 hours later no results. The store can't even confirm my test was collected and sent to the lab. They also do not have a number to contact the lab instead they give you a customer service number that directs you to call a different health information number which then tells you to contact the store you were tested at. I can't imagine a worse job handling what should be a critical issue. My job is requesting a proof of testing that I can't provide because Walgreens can't confirm I was tested or what the results are. So either go to work sick get tested at a competent location or get fired. On the plus side if I'm fired for Walgreens screw up maybe I have excellent grounds to file a lawsuit. read more

Came here because they were having a 2/$2 sale and I had some coupons to use before they expired. This store was very clean and well stocked. Surprisingly even the sale items were still stocked up. I was able to get everything I needed and more. I guess even if you make a list you always end up with more. The only con waa there wasnt enough cashiers upfront. The line was down the store and they ended up having to call for back up. For all my couponers out there this location allows four of the same coupon per transaction. read more

I'm surprised by all these bad reviews. It's an average Walgreens. I live close by and go here prob once a week for years. I have never seen loiterers and have never felt unsafe. The staff greets you when you come in. It's well stocked and clean. Lines have gotten longer lately but still courteous service. We showed up to pick up a couple cosmetic items during what happened to be their grand opening and snagged some complimentary chips while we were there. They also had a moon-bounce set up and a grill going with hot dogs and refreshments from all. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic about the new store. If you're considering coming here for a flu shot, I would recommend going somewhere else. We scheduled back to back appointments for two flu shots. The line was so long we weren't checked in until 20 mins after the first appointment time. We then had to fill out the paperwork that we had already filled out online. So, my son & I walk into the brand new Walgreen's that opened up between his doctor and mine. I drop off 4 scripts, am told they would be ready for pickup (in 20-30 minutes!) and we go off shopping, picking up a few groceries, and some medical supplies. So, by the time we finish shopping, it is now a half hour later (we checked). Son goes out to the car, I go the waiting area for the prescriptions. And wait. And wait. Get to listen to one of two women working there take a long call. And wait. Finally, 15 minutes later, 45 minutes into 20-30 minutes, I go up to the counter. I get my cranky on and watch the Tech FINALLY fill my scripts after I asking where they were in the process. (They don't have all of them, they never do. Why do we persist in thinking these variety stores have drugs? Yet they manage to keep all that homeopathic water in stock. Go figure.) She continues to take calls, etc. and at every step she keeps wanting me to wait after the line waiting customers but screw that. I WAS there first. I was a patient, quiet customer for 45 minutes and a candidate from customer from hell for the next 15. And you know what? They only did what I asked them to do, what they are supposed to do, and that they had more time to do than they asked for, once I turned into the customer from hell. Most of the time there's no reason to be the customer from hell, but if they didn't make it so rewarding to become one, there might be fewer of us. And maybe this is why some customers from hell just skip those 45 minutes in the first place. We're made, not born. Will I go back there again? Sure, for protein powder. For drugs? Only when I can give them 24 hours to fill a prescription. I'm assuming between one of their shifts, I might get it in a timely manner. Finally, a funny note: When we were checking out with our supplies, our purchases included a huge jar of whey protein powder. The cashier looks at it and then looks at my 6'3", 300+ lbs. worth of son. Looks at me 5'3" tall me. Looks at him. "Well, this must be yours," she says brightly. He shakes his head. "Your brother's?" This is simply one of the worst drug stores in the area, the people working here don't seem to have a clue of what the hell they're doing. There has not been a single time where a prescription is ready on time, they will tell you 15 minutes which slowly turns into an hour & 15 minutes. I am exhausted waiting behind the ones with state sponsored healthcare that are complaining for 10 minutes about how they do not want to pay $1.99 for "flavoring mix" to be added to their little brats cough syrup.....remember they don't pay a dime for the meds but if they want add-ons they do need to pay for those. (Side note: the last time that I was there suffering after back surgery trying to get my script filled, the customer whining about the $1.99 had her nails and hair done, had a Loius Vuitton bag and both the latest iPad & iPhone which the kid was throwing the iPad around like it was a toy). The store is clean overall, if you do not mind waiting forever and risk them not even having the meds in-stock then by all means go there. I like to be able to have the scripts that I need actually filled, therefore I have ceased going there because it is ridiculous to not have the same meds in-stock month after month. I also have 2 other meds on auto-refill, one gets filled twice as often as it is supposed to and the other I haven't been able to get filled in 40 days and counting. SUMMARY: The pharmacy staff seem very incompetent, and too few there as well which makes for a bad customer experience. read more

I came to this Walgreens for my second dose of vaccine. First dose was in Cllarkesville, right on time, no issues. Appointment time for dose 2(1:45 3/13), in line at 1:30 the Pharmacist and staff announced they were heading to lunch. They said we have no control over the computer scheduling through lunch. They were back at 2:03, with at least 10 people waiting in line. The check in person was pretty quick, however the process could have been expedited by handing out the necessary forms BEFORE they went to lunch. I printed mine at home and it was already complete. It's now 2:42 (over an hour since I arrived) and I'm still waiting. Also, the pharmacist didn't ask people to wait 15 minutes before leaving. I know we're in the middle of a pandemic, but this is just poor management of the process. read more

Stopped by to grab some items that were on sale and I also had coupons for. The store seemed well stocked and they had 3 or 4 registers opened. My digital coupons weren't loading correctly to the manager on duty took his time trying to figure it out and after a few tries the issue was resolved. I picked up my prescription medication from this pharmacy on July 31, 2020. After few days when I opened the package, I realized that one of my medication, Lisinopril, was a wrong dos. I am taking 5mg but the pharmacy gave me 45 tablets each containing 10mg. When they did that, nobody talked to me about it. They want me to break the 10mg into two every time for 90 days. I called the pharmacy and explained my problem. The pharmacy associate set up a phone call appointment with the manager for August 7, 2020. On the appointment day the manager called and said that they can change it to 2.5mg tablet.I agreed and picked it up on August 8, 2020 because, it is easier to take them than breaking the 10mg. After I went to my car, I opened the package and found out there are only 60 tablets instead of 180 for 90 days supply. I went back and asked why they gave me only 60. The pharmacy associate said that they only have 60 in the pharmacy. Can you believe this. It is horrendous. This is not a luxury material. It is a health issue. Never had a major problem here! Cashiers always greet me when I walk through the door, even when they're with other customers. Workers throughout the store help me when asked -- without attitudes! Some prices are decent and others are just plain ridiculous! By ridiculous, I mean double what other major stores charge!! I just buy certain items here and keep it moving. I'm a bargain shopper, so I usually go here when I have coupons or they're having a good sale on products I use frequently. Never really use the pharmacy, so no comment on their service. After finally buying a DSLR, I took my last 3 rolls of film to this Walgreens. Big mistake! For starters, you can't limit your order to digital files - prints are essentially mandatory. I should've fled at this point. The prints were the WORST I'd ever gotten. The color balance was terrible, and most of them were out of focus is exactly the same way. My focusing isn't perfect, but it varies from one shot to another. That made me suspect errors on the part of the technician. They were also out of chronological order. The digital images weren't any better. They were also out of chrono order, which tells me the technician didn't make them from the negatives. They just scanned the crappy prints. Worst of all, they didn't give me the negatives! I can't try elsewhere, and 70 pictures from a summer spent in Yellowstone are ruined! I am so mad I could spit in that techinican's eye!!! read more
