I mean this location is super convenient. They have a decent sized parking lot and this location is always super busy, but I've never seen an employee on the floor even greet anyone, nevermind trying to ask for help. The phone service is also very bad in here so if you need something and are using your Internet service as a reference it probably won't work, so screenshot it beforehand. The pharmacy area they pretty much ignore you or make you wait awhile before they acknowledge you, so I never gave that a chance again on the pharmacy end. The prices are quite pricey at this location. I hardly go to this location but when I'm in the area and I really need something I'll stop. I can say the store is always clean when I go that's a plus and they're always stocked with what I need. Good luck finding an associate though. read more

Scheduled online to receive the RSV vaccine. I arrive and check in, to be called back to the pharmacy because they don't have the vaccine in stock! Had to reschedule for next week and listening to their conversation, they "think" it will be restocked. Instead of offering to call me to confirm that it's in stock before I arrive, I had to ask them whether I can call to confirm its arrival before my rescheduled appointment. Do better. read more

I had an issue with the CVS Pharmacy in Coventry Rhode Island. They filled my prescription twice. When I tried to explain it to them last weekend the pharmacy tech: Megan told me I never came in and picked it up. It was put back after 14 days. I told her I picked it up on that 11th or 12th of October. She keeps looking at the screen and keeps telling me that's not correct because it's says here you never picked it up. I usually love CVS and I shop there frequently. I get my prescriptions from CVS and I really like the people who work there. But when I walk into a bathroom in CVS I feel like I don't ever want to buy something from them or receive a vaccine or a drug that I need. I can't believe that they allow the bathrooms to get disgusting like this. It is certainly a reflection on the whole store and it disgusts me. I don't know why somebody an employee doesn't complain and say we can't work in these conditions. Because they really are terrible working conditions. Especially for a store that provides health care items. I just wish this was the only Cvs that had a disgusting bathroom but it's not the only one that I have gone into in Rhode Island where I have been horrified by the restroom. read more

To the Store Manager I'm leaving this review and the 1 star for the dishonesty of your associates and "management " titled people you have working there. I dropped off 3 packages to be picked up by UPS on 11/30/22 and 2 packages never made it to the location. Now I went today at 7am to find out if they are still there? No......this is December 9th. I go to UPS on Jefferson Blvd MY packages NEVER left your store after they got scanned so I call up once again and asked if someone could check. Nope not here. One more time today which is 3:45 I go and want to check myself we go up front and guess is what is at the top of the pile to be picked up? MY PACKAGES. The review stands but now I want to know Where were my packages all this time? Who found them? Why didn't anybody at least tell me? I want answers and deserve it. I go out of my way to make my patients happy and this is what I get in return. Bad customer service. I want feedback and will be calling your regional manager for infirmation. read more

I have to say the set up was improved when I went yesterday 5/3/21 for my 2nd shot. The woman I had wasn't informative at all. I had her the first time also. I wanted to relax my arm down and and kept putting it on my lap. She made me bleed and I also have a black and blue. I've had plenty of shots for allergies and zolair for hives. I listened to the girl in the next cubicle with dark hair, far better explained everything to every person. I should have went to the other girl but I didn't want to start anything. If you don't use this pharmacy, don't start now. They take an absolute eternity to fill anything. They're drastically understaffed and can't handle the workload they have now. If they take your insurance, try Walgreens. read more

This CVS is really nice. They've re-done it and it looks alot more modern and clean. They have a great selection of everything you'd expect from a drug store. Prices are usually reasonable if they're having a sale other then that things can be a little high priced. Plenty of parking, not necessarily the easiest to get in and out of but whatever. The major plus to this location is that it's open 24 hours and that's been helpful for me a few times. Overall not a bad place to shop. read more

What a poorly run store! If I was the store or district manager I would be ashamed of this location and these front end workers. I wait to cash out up front for ten minutes.. TEN MINUTES! A CVS is a CVS for the most part. With that in mind, I would say this location is better than many others I've been to. The biggest plus is the age of the store, as it was built just a couple years back and it's a gorgeous (and big!) store. The prescription counter for the most part hosts a number of technicians and pharmacists that are friendly and knowledgeable. I have not experienced an issue with any RX filled here, though there is (or was) one woman who insisted on pulling all Rx's out of the bags and leaving them on the counter as she was ringing them up. Though I can appreciate her diligence, HIPAA laws went out the window. read more

I'm sorry but this has been my CVS location for almost 4 years and the pharmacy line has only gotten worse. The employees are AMAZING but they need to hire more staff. The drive through has a minimum line of 5 cars and inside has a minimum of 8 customers no matter what time of day it is. i am on a heart medication. i received a 3 day supply as they were waiting for shipment. i called today and found out they have not received it. i understand it is the manufacturer at fault for delay, however, CVS has not updated me on this HEART medication in a week. i have had to call several times with them telling me it would be here. 3 day supply left and getting absolutely no information until i called. I expect CVS to keep me posted on the situation since it's an important medication that i need to take. Now i am panicking that i will not find this medication. I think they could be doing more than they are for me and probably others. So very upset. My son and daughter use CVS at other locations and they are happy with the service. This pharmacy techs pick and choose who they help at the drive up. I wait for three cars in lane one to be finished, and the last one pulled up way after me, before I was helped. I have been a cvs customer for 25 years. When the new one opened a few years ago on Tiogue ave. I was excited because the store was so big. Better selection and better service. The store itself, along with the employees is great but the pharmacy and staff whole new saga. Pharmacy and staff suck. ALWAYS a line in and out. As I got up to desk after waiting twenty minutes in line the pharmacist took my script and put it in the computer. He then told me they were out of my pills and asked does he want me to check another CVS? I answered yes that would be great. He called a few and finally found the CVS in Cranston had my pills. I said oh good. (Only a couple pills left) I asked when he wanted me to come back? He looked at me confused lol and said Oh Noooo hahaha you have to go pick it up. What? I have to drive to Cranston to pick up my pills? He said yes. That's ridiculous ! I'm your customer and I've been getting the same script for 11 years so it's no surprise I need it. He was rude. I then went to CVS in Cranston and picked it up. When I got home I opened the script and the pills were in tablet form. I looked at bottle and it was the same script I always take. Long story short I took my pill and passed out two hours later. Called my doctor and told him. He immediately instructed me to stop taking it because they screwed it up and it's the wrong script. He wrote me another and I took the wrong script (in bottle) and new back to Coventry. Doctor told me to tell them they could have killed me. I went in and explained. Of course they denied any wrong doing and blamed the doctor for writing the wrong script. I then told him I wanted to get my money back for the wrong script and he said I had to go to Cranston to get my money back! I lost it! I wasn't vulgar or loud just explained it was out of the way I'm here and here's the script. He stared at me ... Stopped and then looked around me to call next person in line. Unacceptable. Poorest customer service in the state. And btw when i went back to the doctor for my next appointment he showed me the copy of my script and he wasn't at fault. When you are dealing with medication and peoples lives be man enough to admit when you are wrong. No ones perfect. The overall treatment of any customer in the pharmacy should be compassionate, helpful, and respectful. Too bad read more

This CVS Pharmacy is horrible. I dread going. The only reason I go is because my pharmacy network manager is CVS Caremark (talk about a conflict of interest!) and I have to get 90 days worth of medications or pay full fee for them. By going to CVS, I get one month free. Well, customer service at this location is non-existent. Here is just one example (believe me, there are many). Today, I will be going there for the 3rd time in 1 1/2 weeks to pick up one prescription. I run out of medication in a coupe of days. The first time I went, they said we had to notify the doctor, we have to have a 90 day prescription and you had only one month left on your prescription. They said they notified the doctor 2X but did not hear back. I said fine, but it would have been nice to call me so as not to waste my time having to come in to be told this. They said they do not call people when this happens. I said rather than notify the doctor again electronically, to please call the doctor as there may be a problem with the notification system. They said they would. I go back in a few days. I am told they notified the doctor electronically but they have not heard back. I said did you call him? They said they can not tell from this computer I have to go to another line to find out what happened. I go to the other line - they tell me they notified the doctor 2 more times but did not hear back. I said the other person said they would call the doctor. They said well we do not call doctors. I said well she told me she would call the doctor. They said well we call after three times. I said well this is 4 times. She said well did you call the doctor? I said I did not call because CVS said they would call. I asked to use the phone and called my doctor and left a message. I told CVS it would have been nice if you called me to tell me this. They said sometimes they send electronic messages to my phone. I said the phone system CVS has is useless. It does not leave any messages. It says hit this button and nothing happens. Now I have to go back a third time to pick up this medication. You know what the problem is? CVS is a monopoly and with CVS Caremark, they rule the world. As a result, they do not care at all about the customer. By the way, when I call CVS they advertise this new shingles vaccine on the phone. Guess what? The vaccine is not covered by CVS Caremark! read more
