Olivia, the pharmacist, was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly helpful and kind when I first spoke with her on the phone--she took the time to explain everything clearly and left me feeling so reassured. Later, I happened to be at the pharmacy in person and she was just as wonderful face-to-face: patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. This experience stood out in the best way. So, to begin, I had a prescription issue with my blood thinner. This being a drug that is essential for my well being, and the fact that I had been round and round with the insurance on why it was so much, I was already frustrated when it came time to finally pick up the final result, and blood thinner they ended up putting me on. First off, I do know that my provider had initially put in the wrong dosage, and therefore, possibly they had filled a script that had to be backed out, not sure on this, however, I had to call the provider and advise, this is not the right one, dosage, therefore they needed to change it. So, with that being said, they called in the other one, right dosage, wrong amount. So, upon arriving to the pharmacy to pick up the medication, I was told that the insurance company would not cover the medication due to the amount, it was not for a full 30-day supply. This is because the lady at the doctors office did not account for the fact I would be taking 2 pills a day for 30 days, so she called in 30 pills and not a full 60. However, the pharmacy simply said, I could not get it, other than if I paid out of pocket over 700 bucks, which was not an option for me, so I left, upset, as I had already been 4 days off my blood thinners, and I periodically throw clots even while on thinnners. So, needless to say, I was worried. Then, after calling the insurance, getting an override, and them calling the pharmacy, giving them a code that was evidently different for a 15-day supply, in order to run what was called in, they advised me to turn around and go pick up my meds. They would be ready. Now, I had already made it to Blakenbaker Pkwy, which is not a short drive, however, since I had been off my thinners for so long, I could not risk any longer, so I drove all the way back to the pharmacy, where I was greeted at the window by a very confused rep, who acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. He continued to tell me to contact my provider for a 60-day supply. I told him, I worked it out with my insurance, they provided the pharmacy with a code, this provided the override I needed to get the 15-days filled, so I was not without one more day, my blood thinners. He, in the middle of the conversation, looking confused, looks around, and here comes the older gentleman, pharmacist, who is yelling at the top of his lungs at me, " No, he is not the one they spoke to." As I did just say to him, obviously you were not the one they spoke with, as they literally just told me to come back to pick up my meds, which were ready. Then the pharmacist continues to say, overspeaking us all at this point, " I am the one who wasted 5 hours on this issue yesterday and now you have wasted 2 of my hours today, and you need to contact your doctor and get the full 60-days." I am looking in confusion at this point, I am sure, because, I literally just drove 20 minutes back to the pharmacy with intent on picking up my medication, which they told me was ready at the insurance, and you are saying that I wasted your time, and the medication is not ready, and that I need to contact my provider? First, off, wasting the time of a person who is getting paid to do a job, really? The only person who wasted their time was me, and to be talked to like I was a crack head begging for pain pills or something was unheard of, however, this is a blood thinner, that is life saving for me. I have had a pulmonary embolism, and many clots while taking blood thinners, and now my right leg is swollen at my ankle and right foot, and not sure why, possibly a clot, hoping its not, but who on earth has ever heard of having to go through so much all for a blood thinner. Then to be cussed and yelled at simply for returning to the pharmacy to pick up my medication, that was unheard of. If you want to be treated with dignity and respect, I would nt recommend you cming while this pharmacist is on duty, all the others are fine, friendly, it is the older gentleman with white hair, appears to be around mid 60's and has evidently an issue doing his job. read more

It's been some time since I wrote a review update. This time I raised the rating to 4 stars since they have continued to offer the free mail delivery service. It has become so convenient since the Chinese virus has caused so many problems. It is so easy if you have their app. The app tells you when a prescription is ready for refill. You just go through the approval and if there is a cost you can charge to a credit card. Once all is approved they send you a text message that it has been sent to the post office for delivery. Another one when it leaves the post office and lastly when it is delivered to your mailbox. I think that is above and beyond and hope it will continue to be free. Keep in mind however, that they can not ship a narcotic. It must be picked up in person. read more

Honestly, they are just the most unorganized and unprofessional pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Been using them for a few years and never had an easy time getting my prescriptions. It's always something. Making the switch as soon as my insurance lets me know where I can go for a certain prescription. read more

Worst service ever! Will leave you on hold for an hour easy. Only way to speak to someone is by using the doctor line and thats when they will answer. Go somewhere else! read more

Called in the prescription given a pickup up time and waited in line an hour and a half to pick it up. Unacceptable. All ways a wait.

Went in side the store to pick up a prescription that was supposed to have been ready, and when I went to the counter after waiting for a couple minutes for the customer in front of me, the young man Jonathan said it would be ready momentarily and to just take a seat and wait. As I waited for the prescription for a few minutes several customers, probably five or six lined up at the register to pick up their prescriptions. When I asked Jonathan if my prescription was ready yet after a couple of those customers had been taken care of, he indicated that it was but I was going to have to wait until everyone else already in line that had gotten in line after I was in the store would have to be served first. Seems to me if a customer is in the store 1st and he's told to stand off to the side to wait for his prescription, he should be given his prescription and taken care of before all the other people that came in after him. read more

Friendly staff, decent prices and typically well stocked with products. I shop here a lot due to good prices. Easy to find items.

I love this pharmacy. All of the employees are very helpful and know everything about the store. I get a text when my prescriptions have been filled and they are willing to help with doctors refilling prescriptions. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Has been getting worse and worse for the last year. Recently half their staff quit and since then it's impossible to get prescriptions filled in less than 3 days, they don't answer the phone anymore, they often close the counter inside so you have to wait at the drive through, often takes more than an hour when drive through is supposed to be quick. I asked them to put 2 prescriptions on hold and they filled them anyway. If my insurance didn't require I use CVS I'd go to Walmart or Kroger in a heartbeat. read more

Not only are they rude, they NEVER have my medicines and I'm a juvenile diabetic. Supplies that they should always have and If I didn't plan well, it would be threatening to my life when they don't have it. They sell drugs out of the back of the store for discounted rates I've been told. And they're extremely mean, when any of them are questioned about hours. I went to the drive-through pick up for the pharmacy it said it was open until 10 and they were closed at 9 o'clock but we got there. I proceeded to call the store and inquire as to why they were closed early anytime I've been here previously they're open until 10. The personnel was extremely rude and told me that "I'm wrong and rude to be upset that the window says different." They told no one about the hour change, if I could I would give them 0 out of 5 stars. read more

Crappy service at pick-up inside Crestwood Kentucky CVS Pharmacy store.... I don't know why management allows intentionally rude staff to continue to serve the public at counters. Today I had the unfortunate experience of trying to pick up a "texted to me" prescription from an offensively impolite and pretentiously crude female at CVS pharmacy. Management, you may not be paying attention, to your staff, but the public you serve is noting and reacting to the unforgivable rudeness of your workers. read more

Great experience with this store over the last few years until recently. On several occasions our prescriptions have been done incorrectly as in not mixed, wrong amount, and not labeled. It seemed as though they weren't staffed appropriately. Hopefully it gets worked out soon. read more

This CVS has the down home feel. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They have great specials when using your CVS card along with extra care bucks for filling Rx. I love that they know my shopping history and issue coupons that are of products that I use! read more
