I got home, realized it was expired and called the store to tell them to check the others on the shelf to make sure they weren't also expired. Hired outside parking and towing company that booted car in their parking lot and charged $200 for taking too long in the store because they didn't see the drivers walk in. We we're parked less than 15 minutes and had a CVS receipt but threatened to tow the car to Charlotte for $1500. Staff extremely rude. Take your business anywhere else read more

It is nearly impossible to get through to this pharmacy by phone--almost as if they deliberately avoid taking calls. Woefully understaffed. In person, too. I gave up after 22 minutes on hold and called back. Same result. Much quicker to run down there in person and wait in a long line. UPDATE: Called the operations manager at this location. He transferred me to the pharmacy and again phone was not answered. Called next day and was left on hold. Drove to pharmacy while still on hold and showed one of the pharmacists behind the counted that I had been on hold for 53 minutes and counting. His response? "Yes." Another woman behind the counter asked me in a snarky way, "You know anybody that wants to work here?" They are simply not answering their phone, so don't try to call. I am transferring all my business to the Walgreens two miles away. I called them immediately after visiting CVS, and phone was answered within 30 seconds. Beware of the CVS in Davidson. They are understaffed, overwhelmed and couldn't care less. read more

Exceedingly harsh parking penalties. Booting your car: $250. Towing to Charlotte: $1,500. CVS outsourced parking enforcement to a company whose sole goal is to boot and tow. Not worth the risk of using their parking lot. Use street parking instead or find another location for your needs. read more

Best customer service anywhere. Both the retail and pharmacy department are friendly, helpful and engaging. They will go out of their way to help their customers and are kind and courteous to everyone regardless of race, gender or appearance, including socio-economic status, special needs, children & the elderly, especially. Markus at the front register, a young man with very light blonde hair & a calm voice, who seems to have a laid back approach & which I appreciate because it is very soothing & not the least intimidating or obnoxious, much less anxiety provoking; yet is nonetheless keenly aware of everything going on in the store & everyone coming into & out of it which he manages to let be known in a non-threatening & non-offensive manner, so that if you are simply an honest shopper, you feel safe & looked after & whereas, I would imagine, if you are not, pickup immediately on the fact that he is watching like a hawk & will not hesitate to take you down if you try anything under his watch - hopefully, the not-so-safe sort get the message & they must because I've never seen anything in the papers about this location whereas others in our area get quite a lot of activity associated with their locations! Markus recently did me the biggest favor and stayed very late to help me with a problem. He couldn't have been better, kinder or more compassionate, even though I was the one who had made the mistake & was consequently putting HIM out. I'm extremely grateful to this young man for his time & effort. My only complaint would be that when I went to notify corporate I have his outstanding effort they were not her receiving calls or even a large for messages and there was not even a particular number or extension or email or website link for making such. A sign on the door with a phone number that then lead nowhere was all. I contrast this with their competitors like Rite Aid or other retailers in general like the gap, as well as fast food restaurants, like Hardee's. While it may be rare for someone to give feedback these days directly to an institution & its directors or those responsible for HR & the like, it ought not be a lost cause. This young man deserves special recognition & with his superiors especially. Otherwise, how might he & those like him be expected to ascend the corporate ladder, or move along in his career, whatever it may be? Certainly, employers are not considering yelp reviews when giving their annual reviews and bonuses, or are they? Well, Markus and fellow CVS Davidson, North Carolina store & RX staff, I certainly hope they are, because you all deserve acknowledgement for a job well done. Keep up the great work! read more

I don't typically take the time to write a review, but after several poor experiences I decided to post for this location. I have never had an "easy" customer experience. I have had consistent problems with trying to speak to a pharmacist and seem to get caught in a loop when calling. I spend at least 45 minutes on hold each time I try before giving up. The pharmacy is probably fine as long as you ONLY use the automated system. If, for any reason, you actually have to speak with a human being - just forget it. I have never had such difficulties with other CVS locations. Even when I just have to pick up a prescription, I have to plan on long lines and even longer waits. I don't want to negatively characterize the folks there as I am sure the have challenging jobs, but I will say just don't expect good customer service or even a friendly smile no matter how polite and friendly you are. I am working to move all my prescriptions to the Harris Teeter pharmacy as I have had great experiences there. read more

Do not go here or any Minute clinic for Covid Antibody testing. Lab Corp will do it for the same price and offers a more comprehensive, accurate test. Minute clinic uses blood sample from a finger stick and gives inaccurate results in 10 minutes, Lab Corp draws a vial of blood and results are within 24 hours. I was told incorrectly by Minute Clinic nurse in Davidson that I didn't have antibodies, tested 3 x afterwards at Lab Corp and I absolutely do have antibodies, in fact, my levels are very high. A few years ago the staff and pharmacy here were pretty terrible. However, I've returned back to this CVS due to convenience and there's a huge difference. The staff is friendly and helpful. Biggest improvement is the pharmacy! Impressed each time I've returned at how attentive and willing to assist customers these guys are. read more

Since I dont have medical insurance I stopped at CVS to have my blood pressure taken. I foudn the nurse or PA(not sure) very nice and helpful. It took awhile since she had computer issues but other wise the whole experience was a positive one read more

Great location in the middle of it all! This CVS is just like any other with practically everything you need. Seriously, if you had to pick a store to be stuck in, CVS would make the short list because it has everything from hygiene to pampering to eating and more. Long waits for prescriptions i was told was "ready", by text. Also had to wait for 10+ minutes several times before giving up.

This Davidson, NC CVS location has the most incompetent pharmacy I have EVER been to in my life. There is always a line and they never have my prescriptions ready (even when they've left me automated voicemails that they are available). Don't waste your time here... seriously incompetent people working behind the desk. This review is for the minute clinic I brought my daughter in complaining of symptoms of a cold and told the doctor on duty that maybe it was strep throat, I was told that she didn't think so but she could send it off to be tested that I could so I said OK. I was never informed that there would be an additional charge for that service as she said it's very nonchalantly but I received one for $125 mailed to me. read more

I came here with my boyfriend for his scheduled covid test, needless to say this is the LAST place you should come to for one (unless you're wanting to get covid). I have been to bowling alleys with better sanitation in between customers than this CVS. A mother & son went inside a kiosk to get tested and when they were done, absolutely ZERO precautions were taken before the next person (my boyfriend) went inside. Not even so little as a wipe on the door handles. This test is for a job, not because he feels sick with the virus. Who knows, maybe now we will have to come back for a test because of the lack of common decency shown by this CVS during such a uncertain time. read more

I'm amazed to see these past reviews. It must be under new management because it's the best CVS pharmacy I've ever been to period! The staff is so helpful and on point. They've gone out of their way to help me save money and find the items I need. Once they noticed I was walking around several aisles confused and came over to help. Very friendly and meticulous.
