I have been faithful...for years...to CVS. As I was reading my kids their bed time story, I was…read morethinking...why...why CVS for so very long? Wall-to-wall carpet. Seems odd but that is the answer, friend. Every CVS that I walk into is carpeted. And quiet. And soothing. Odd because I can't stand wall-to-wall in my own home. Our hardwoods are torn to shreds but I will not staple down the poly fibers. But I think about other pharmacies and they all pretty much have the shiny tile squares that clickety-clack when you walk on them. Never knowing when they've been last polished, you gotta be careful your leather botton kicks don't slip. But CVS? No worries. Your heels are safely cradled in the soft carpet caress. And shiny tile squares remind me of cafeterias and hospitals...and...um...not so soothing thoughts. I especially like this location. They have a drive-up pharmacy and a tricked out photo lab with multiple scanners and one hour photo service. The store is always well-stocked, clean and neat. The in-store staff is terrific both at the front and at the pharmacy. Up front, they launch a code red type announcement if there are more than two people in line. Yeah - you know my time is valuable. Nice. The pharmacy staff churns out the prescriptions in record time and the actual pharmacist will walk out to help out with medicinal inquiries. The pharmacy calls now get routed to a call center, not the actual pharmacy. This annoys me because sometimes I want to talk to one of the pharmacists that I know. Knocks the star down a notch from being the total five star pharmacy wonder. The parking is easy. Location is convenient. Staff friendly. Carpet on the floor. Guess that covers it!

My doctor said that they were extremely rude and my doctor was shocked. My doctor said they will not doing business with this Pharmacy anymore. I called multiple times throughout the day and no one answered the phone. When I finally showed up in person, I was told the medication wasn't ready and that the staff was going on break. I explained that my daughter is an infant, actively struggling with RSV, and that this medication is medically necessary -- not optional. The pharmacist, Kim, still refused to fill it at that time and told me they would handle it after their break. This level of disregard for an infant with a serious respiratory illness is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Delaying critical medication for a sick baby is dangerous. If anything were to happen to my child due to this delay, that responsibility would fall on this pharmacy's lack of urgency and care.

Ok, so long story short, we called the doctor, again, like we do every time we need to get a monthly prescription. And the prescription was ready in an hour. They wouldn't offer her anything at all to bridge the gap, to the doctor's astonishment and disappointment. Not even a single pill to get through the day. This pharmacy is atrocious. You're not the police. You can't do math. You're going to kill someone with your stupidity, but stand on your morals people. You can't just do the job without aggrandizing yourself? Stop trying to act smart, my two year old gets her math right, so why don't you go back to basics. Try customer service and support, you're selling pills, you're the drug dealer. Don't act like I'm some custy when I come in like I need to fiend over my daily medication. Get a life buddy, get laid, quit your job, get a job that doesn't require math or customer service. Filled out my personal information, answered a few questions and had an option of date/times for an appointment. They had a same day appointment available in about an hour and chose that. As I included my cell phone number, a text was sent to check-in for the appointment. I did still have to check in with the pharmacy though, so not sure why they sent the text. The pharmacy was super busy, but I was checking in quickly and told I can wait in the seats at the side of the pharmacy. A physical screen is set up by the pharmacy staff entrance with a table of supplies on one side and some customer seats on the other. The Pharmacist came out, verified who I am and what shot(s) I am getting. She was very pleasant and did a great job giving me the jab! CVS offers three shots: RSV, Flu and Covid booster.
