My 6-month-old daughter has RSV and was prescribed lung steroids that were sent over at 9 AM from another pharmacy and resubmitted by her doctor to CVS. I called multiple times throughout the day and no one answered the phone. When I finally showed up in person, I was told the medication wasn't ready and that the staff was going on break. I explained that my daughter is an infant, actively struggling with RSV, and that this medication is medically necessary -- not optional. The pharmacist, Kim, still refused to fill it at that time and told me they would handle it after their break. This level of disregard for an infant with a serious respiratory illness is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Delaying critical medication for a sick baby is dangerous. If anything were to happen to my child due to this delay, that responsibility would fall on this pharmacy's lack of urgency and care. read more

Feckless, power-tripping, policing pharmacy that has maybe once out of ten times had my wife's prescription ready. She carefully takes her medication for panic attacks and agoraphobia, and discusses her medication with her DOCTOR, she's never increased her dose, which she can, she could double her prescription if she wanted. So, why is it when we call the pharmacy, they treat us like addicts? Pompous pharmacist/doctor that tries to mansplain to two people smarter than him, tells us "I got my math wrong" when he said she's going to have to wait a full month without medication. Then the genius while working on debunking Einstein's theories, realized his math was wrong, again, making things better, telling my wife it will be about two week. Ok, so long story short, we called the doctor, again, like we do every time we need to get a monthly prescription. And the prescription was ready in an hour. They wouldn't offer her anything at all to bridge the gap, to the doctor's astonishment and disappointment. Not even a single pill to get through the day. This pharmacy is atrocious. You're not the police. You can't do math. You're going to kill someone with your stupidity, but stand on your morals people. You can't just do the job without aggrandizing yourself? Stop trying to act smart, my two year old gets her math right, so why don't you go back to basics. Try customer service and support, you're selling pills, you're the drug dealer. Don't act like I'm some custy when I come in like I need to fiend over my daily medication. Get a life buddy, get laid, quit your job, get a job that doesn't require math or customer service. I have been going here for my prescriptions for more than 6 years. Today I went in to pick up one medication and this girl behind the desk is yelling to everyone behind her to "CLOSE IT DOWN! CLOSE IT DOWN!" referring to the window gate for the pharmacy. I thought something bad happened and looked around, but I was the only one there. I asked if I could pick up my one med and she yelled "CLOSE IT DOWN! WE'RE CLOSED! CLOSE IT DOWN!" Very rude! I wouldn't mind coming back if I had been told something along the lines of "sorry, we have to close for lunch, but we will open and gladly take you then at this time " but no, I get this RUDE girl stating to CLOSE IT DOWN. Very disappointed. If this is how she is going to treat the public, then you can CLOSE IT DOWN on my account, because I will no longer use this location. read more

I've been getting my prescriptions at this pharmacy for about 3 years now. Last night I went through the drive thru and was assisted by a pharmacist or a tech with short blonde hair. She was extremely helpful and informed me that a prescription discount card yielded a lower price than my insurance. I really appreciated that she thought to check into that for me. I been coming to this CVS for few years. This past November they messed up my prescription. We are humans we make mistakes; I definitely understand that. However, when I returned to the pharmacy to fix the issue; all I got was pointing the finger to the manufacturer. Except taking ownership for their mistake. The pharmacist said, "Don't you read before you take your medication?" She apologized that it came out wrong but it was still said. I was upset because due to their mistake; I was sick for almost a month. The pharmacist said that she was going to check the cameras ,talk to the manufacturer, do some research and eventually call me back for a follow up. She never did. I called corporate after a week of her not calling back and within a few hours the same day got a call from the new pharmacy manager at this location. She is very nice, apologized for the inconvenience and said it was an error on their end. She was genuinely sorry and I appreciate that. I hope with this new manager things get better and they are more careful when dealing with peoples medications. read more

I am a mental ill patient who takes 6 medications for ptsd, mania, bipolar, depression, personality disorder and social anxiety. The way the pharmacy staff talk to people are horrible especially when your a patient with mental problems and should be treated with care like everyone. I just spoke to a technician that was working last night around 7:30 on March 26, 2022 that started talking bad about my doctor and Thundermist saying they gave me false information and she was going to call them and tell them they made a huge mistake and shouldn't be giving me false information, it was said so unprofessional. You don't call someone's doctor a LIER. This is not the end of this I will be calling the main office. Patients should never ever have to be treated by a professional like this. If your reading this you should be ashamed of yourself. Get a new job if you can't handle this one. read more

I have been going here ever since my Rite Aid closed down. And it's been torture! The lady's are very rude and nasty. To better know this situation I should tell you I had a pill problem after receiving pain killers from a surgery but have been clean for over 4yrs now! I take a Med daily to help stay clean as most do. So a few months ago, the first time my meds were short, by 16 tablets and when I had called about it I was treated like scum, like I was lying and trying to just get extra. After a week they finally watched cameras and gave me what I was owed. This week the same thing happened with 10 of them missing. But it was resolved in a timely manly, probably b/c of how I was treated the last time. Not to Mention the time when I was trying to fill my prescription and because my doctor had wrote the wrong MIlligram on it, My insurance didn't want to cover it. The lady on the phone with me was treating me like I was a piece of crap , in the rudest way she was telling me how to take my medicine and asking me if I knew how I was suppose to take it and if I was even taking it right or was I just abusing it and wanting more because They won't fill them as it's to early. When I told the lady I DEF knew how to take it and it's been a month since my last fill she didn't believe me and told me to call back when pharmacy manager is on. So After few days they got in touch with dr. (Cus he's Only open 2days a week) And realized he had put wrong mg, She Had never apologized to me! And it was just a mistake my doctor made. I had to spend 70$ to buy a few meds to hold me over until it was figured out and NEVER GOT REIMBURSED FOR THAT! This place is ridiculous! So I hope , when I go to pick up the ones I'm owed from this months script they screwed me on , I have no problems! If you plan to go here to fill prescriptions, run don't walk to another brand of pharmacy, never mind another CVS. There is a serious lack of professionalism here both in terms of respect to the "patient" and professionalism on the part of the assistants, technicians, and the pharmacist. They eye roll and don't maintain privacy (which maybe a violation of HIPPA) and seem to have a general disregard for the customer. In my experience the pharmacy help at CVS is some of the worst I've had anywhere in terms of professionalism and I now chose to go to a brand that is both professional, courteous and helpful. Had to come here out of my way because my regular pharmacy (NOT A CVS) wasn't open 24 hours and my nurse recommended this one. Was charged over $30 for an antibiotic which I thought was strange but I had new insurance and didn't question it. A month later a pharmacist calls to tell me my "insurance" overcharged me for my script and I had a refund waiting for me. Go in out of my way to pick it up and she tells me that without my original receipt I can only get a refund in a gift card. $20!! No I don't have my original receipt who returns a prescription?!?! What am I going to do with a $20 gift card to the most expensive and biggest rip off of a pharmacy ever? Are you kidding me? It's YOUR mistake- you FIX it!! My family needs every last dime we can spare and I can't be wasting $20 at CVS just because they messed up. I have a feeling that script would have cost $4 at my regular pharmacy to begin with. We have been going to cvs pharmacy in meadowbrook plaza for a long time now because it was open 24 hours. Today I finally got tired of the rude and unprofessional service at the pharmacy department. The healthcare system is confusing and these techs certainly don't make it any easier. I felt like I was bothering them every time I was there and having them send a fax or look for one was a huge inconvenience. I created a profile at Walgreens this morning and the pharmacist there told me that he will take care of the medication transfer personally. read more

The Mrs. and I were visiting friends from college and went to the closest consumer value store (cvs) to pick up a few odds and ends and of course transfer her prescription from California. The pharmacy team handled our request with a smile, asked simply for the old prescription vial and was able to have it ready by the time we finished picking up our loofahs. read more

Rude pharmacy technician made for a terrible experience. I will spare you the details but long story short- I didnt have my prescription card with me and so she was forced to input my social security number into her computer. This was clearly a huge aggravation to her...as evidenced by the eye rolling and groaning. Nice....thank you for your compassion and attention to meeting the customers needs. I think I would rather do a mail-in prescription than have that type of contact a second time. read more

I had such a horrible experience yesterday at this location. I started using this location in about January. I used the drive up window, and when she was scanning my meds she only told me the price (didn't ask if I have any questions about the medication which I did). Last time I went they gave me the wrong medication where I needed a different manufacturer than what I previously had, due to an ALLERGY, which my Doctor made several notes that this is an allergy. So yesterday I went to get the new manufacturer medicine, the woman was so rude I wanted to drive off crying. She gave me attitude because I had previously picked up a different manufacturer and "now you need a new one?" Yes it's a newly discovered allergy. my doctor asks me what the pill looks like as a way of determining which manufacturer it is, so i mentioned to the tech what it looks like and she said, "I don't care what it looks like I need to know the manufacturer." There were many other things said and I'm appalled that someone would talk to someone in that way. I will be switching CVS locations. read more

Eh! Have always been going to this since it's 24hrs. I get all of my prescriptions filled here including my kids- always receive a call saying to pickup the prescription, get there, no prescriptions. Now my name isn't very common but it's similar to my sisters name, they always end up filling my prescriptions under my sister name- hence the no prescription problem. I've contacted my doctor to fix this confusion but I don't share the same doctor as my sister. So it's CVS techs that are messing up. I usually just pick it up anyways. My kids names are always wrong- fixed it they said it's the insurance. The night shift crew is usually in a unpleasant mood. I try to avoid going in late at night & the drive thru is horrible- it's suppose to be a quick pickup which leads to every car 15 minutes wait. read more

great that they're open 24/7, however the atmosphere is a little off setting. there's always people loitering around the entrance, and inside the CVS it's looks a bit run down and the staff isn't all that friendly from my experiences. do not have my prescriptions filled with cvs so cannot comment on RX service. read more
