5.18.25 Came here to pick up a prescription after urgent care called it in. When I arrived about 15 minutes later, it was ready. They are very fast and efficient. I did not know that any of the CVS Pharmacies are opened 24 hours, but apparently this location is. Very good to know in case there is ever an emergency. read more

I needed to get a prescription filled and this was one of the locations close enough for me to be able to get to you. That had the medication in stock. Since it was a Sunday, I didn't have many other options. And I arrive. The parking lot was rather chaotic inside. The store was busy as well. I had to wait as the line at the pharmacy was six people deep. Fortunately they had four people working the pharmacy counter, so the line went quickly. I was gonna get a few other items but noticed they were out of stock. It was a quick trip I would give you the average rating. I noticed a few of the shelves were not stopped so they probably have not gotten their shipment in for the weekend. If I needed to go here I would again. read more

I had a really good experience here! I spent literally an hour trying to figure out how to print photos and the staff here had checked in on me many times. Also I did go to this location at a late hour and everyone was still polite and welcoming. Jacqui (? I hope I spelled this right) also answered my many questions and gave me good advice on how to photo print the next time I come in. I really appreciated the kindness shown to me. They were also extremely prompt in assisting me and the process of paying for my photos was very fast. This is definitely a good location to come and print pictures at!!! read more

The CVS Pharmacy on Centennial Lane in Ellicott City has unbelievably horrible customer service. After sitting in the drive-thru line for over 25 minutes, I get to the window and want to use my GoodRX membership to reduce my $80 prescription to $30. The employee at the window did not know how to input GoodRX and told me I had to park and come inside. After waiting in line again inside, I got to the registers and no one there could input the GoodRX discount, and I was told to go stand in a THRID line in drop off. Instead of taking 2 minutes of their time, after wasting 45 minutes of mine at this point, to find someone who knew how to input GoodRX member discount, they made me pay the full $80 for my prescription because I would not go stand in the THIRD line, which was long and not moving. After going to that CVS for over 20 years, I will never go back and will transfer all of my prescriptions somewhere else. Do Better CVS Centennial Lane!!!!! read more

This CVS wait time is insane. They need more people working in the pharmacy. It is ALWAYS busy. I've been waiting in line for 35 minutes and there is only one car in front of me... Now there are six car behind me waiting on there order. It best to bring a tablet and watch a movie while you wait in line. I hate picking up my prescriptions here. I need to find a new pharmacy. Bad customer service , The drive through window practices unsafe health Saftey They don't use gloves , they talk through the open window exposing us to potential infection . They handle your credit cards as if they haven't been touching any thing potentially contagious or spreadable .. So I walked into CVS, to see about getting some medicine for my congestion and wheezing. I tried to use their terrible sign in service at the front desk. It asked me if I wanted other vaccinations. I replied yes, might as well get a flu shot and a covid booster while I am there. Once the nurse finally helped with the sign in. I told her there was no category to address my congestion issue. She replied I needed another appointment. I said I just signed in and she replied you will have to make yet another appointment. I signed back into their kiosk, and the system said you cannot schedule an appointment because they are overbooked. I told the nurse that I already signed in and have an appointment and that I just wanted medicine for my congestion. She told me to address the congestion issue that I would have to come back several days later or go across the street to an emergency facility to get it addressed. I told her that was ridiculous and walked out. This was during a period where I was the next customer to be seen for the vaccinations, however, they would not address my congestion without another appointment. The CVS sign in system was terrible. It has a terrible finger touch screen that has terrible tactile touch. It has a terrible menu system that is hard to digest and understand. I am in the tech industry and this is definitely not a user friendly system. Nevertheless, now you can see why I gave this rating and will not go to CVS for these types of services again. read more

I went into get help at Minute Clinic and Claudine stopped me from signing in saying the don't do appointments after 7:00pm. It was 6:35 and there was only one person in front of me. She said the appointment was taken. I asked her and said the hours clearly state open till 7:30pm. I get it's a nice day and all. This location is the worst! Their pharmacy is always out of meds, their techs have made so many mistakes with my prescriptions and one prescription in particular is very expensive. They failed to order my meds and my coupon code ran out in the middle of their fumble and cost me $$$. Complained to Pharmacy manager Alisa and she promised a call to me from regional manager..,. I had a prescription for my son and my insurance had just changed where my prescriptions are only covered at CVS. Never having a prescription filled at CVS- the whole drop off window, consultation window is different. Anyway- five CVS' were out of the drug. The one in Target in Westminster actually told me had it, but wanted to save it for his regulars (what is that? These are national chains not mom and pop stores). Anyway- Ellicott City saved my day and they are my hero's today. So easy, kind, thoughtful - just great customer service on a day that seemed like dead end after dead end. read more

This cvs is one of the only 24 hour service cvs's I know of in the area and the staff is always nice. They used to have issues with nice staff, but that was many years ago. I think they deserve a positive review based on the fact that they're still around. They recently renovated the store completely and whenever I go back to visit my family, I usually make a trip here and have a positive experience. read more

What a slow store. They have 1 electronic register that does sometimes works and 3 that do not. The registers are slow and it is hard to get service. Not sure how they stay open. read more

The CVS on Centennial Lane sucks. They say they close from 130 to 2 but you get there five minutes before 130 and they won't take you even though they have an open cashier they said your transaction will take too long which they don't even know what your transaction is. They never have your prescription on time the rude I dread going to pick up my prescription every time and will be transferring my prescription elsewhere. read more

Reviewing for the minute clinic at this location. I came a few days ago and I waited over an hour to be seen even though the wait time was listed at 25 minutes. Giving two stars compared to one because the physician chose to see me before her lunch break since she knew the previous patients took an excessive amount of time just chatting with her. Had to come earlier today for a post check and though they opened at 9am, I watched one of the physicians go into the other physician's room--clearly seeing us waiting-- and they talked for over 10 minutes while more people checked in. They said this was the busiest minute clinic location in the region--so why are you standing around chatting when you should be seeing patients? read more

Went at 4AM to fill a prescription to avoid crowds -- I'm immune-compromised -- and the overnight pharmacist said "We have your medicine in stock but someone forgot to give me the code to the safe, so you'll have to come back at 8:30 AM when the regular pharmacist comes in." Most things are broken in the store. There is only 1 working self checkout, three are broken. And the only reason people choose the self checkout is because they don't want to deal with the rude people who work there. I have no idea how they stay open. read more

Wow ok different experience for an urgent care clinic. They opened at 9:AM. I showed up at 9:20 there were six people in front of me. Not bad I guess for a Saturday but the staff had to bring out more chairs. While you wait you can shop in the CVS which is clean, very nice, except for some used gum someone had not properly disposed of. I was seen an hour later by the nurse practitioner, Josh, who was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He seemed concerned with my ear infection...yes perhaps I should go see my PCP...I tried but whatever. I was at the pharmacy by 10:30 and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pharmacy here had taken a serious nosedive lately. Dropped off a prescription and was told it would take about an hour because they were baled up a bit. OK. But 2-1/2 hours later, they STILL don't have it ready. I'm told it'll be another 20 minutes or so and they'll call my name. This is ridiculous to make people wait this long as if we have nothing else to do. They have 8 people working in the pharmacy but they seem to be standing around talking more than taking care of the long and growing line of people waiting. I've been coming to this CVS for 10 years. It was never this bad but it's gotten where i think I'll be using the new Walgreens opening right across the street. Not a good way to keep customers. read more

I frequent this location often as it is near my home and the most convenient. That being said, the lines for the pharmacy are ALWAYS long and the wait is even longer. Don't even think about stopping in to quickly pick up a Rx even if you call it in ahead of time, which is what I always do. The wait for the drive thru is just as long if not longer. The store is nicely appointed and the staff friendly, but the wait times are seemingly unnecessary. I am writing this review as I stand waiting in line. It looks like Walgreen's is moving in directly across the street, which may be a good thing if it encourages this CVS location to create more efficiencies in the pharmacy dept. If not, I will move my prescriptions over there. read more

Do not recommend for flu shots. Went online, scheduled 3 flu shots for myself and two kids, entered all requested info including insurance. Showed up at designated time and found the experience to be completely unsatisfactory. They could not figure out my insurance, wanted to call insurance company, then said they would need to charge me $40 per shot for a total of $120 for the three of us. Left went to Giant Pharmacy in River Hill. In and out of Giant after 3 flu shots at no cost and no hassle in less than 30 minutes. Don't waste your time at CVS. read more

Only positives about this store: 24 hours. I went last night around 10pm to grab some last minute items. There were two associates visible and one other customer. I make my way to the front to get checked out while the only other customer was still shopping. The one elderly woman associate was talking to the young man behind the counter who was holding an unused cleaning wipe looking dumbfounded. I'm now standing there without being acknowledged while they chat it up, the young man clearly can see me waiting for service. The woman walks off and turns around apologizing that she didn't see me waiting. Not your fault ma'am, the man behind the counter should have had enough sense to say something. So now we're just looking at each other as he still is standing there with the wipe in his hands. I now feel awkward, I ask "are you open?" He stutters and responds like I am BOTHERING HIM!!! "I am in the middle of cleaning, you can use self checkout." Wow really? You were just standing there ignoring me, not wiping, and now you're busy? Just rude and unprofessional. And the cleaning? Was done in under a minute later. Terrible customer service. I always wonder how they stay in business as this is not the only associate who I've had unsavory interactions with. Went in about 45 minutes before the clinic closes at 7:30, filled out my information at the kiosk, and did some shopping while I was waiting to be seen. The wait was only about 20 minutes before I was seen by an extremely pleasant and knowledgeable man (named Robert?). He put me at ease and was very efficient in administering my vaccines. Bottom line - Honesty and good customer service are two things you won't find at this CVS pharmacy location. This review is concerning the pharmacy only . I had an awful experience today when trying to get my prescription filled at this CVS location . I usually go to the mom and pop pharmacy near my parents house , but remembering the great service I expirenced at my local CVS in Denver , Colorado I figured I might as well give this CVS pharmacy a try . Upon I arrival I dropped my script off and was told by the technician that I had to wait while she checked to be sure they had the medication . I was told they did have the medication in stock but I would have to wait an hour for pick up since they were extremely busy. She offered to text me when my prescription was ready for pick up which I thought was a nice , helpful option so I leave feeling that all is well. 2 1/2 hours later I recieve a text notifying me that my prescription is ready , but when I arrive and wait in the 12 person long pick up line the cashier tells me that my prescription is on hold and he doesn't know why. He then tells me that I need to go wait in the drop off line to figure out what's going on . I wait in the drop off line and a different technician from the one I had met with earlier tells me its on hold because it's not ready yet and " because we are busy it will be at least another hour " I explain the situation described above and ask her if there is anything we can do to remedy the situation since the fault is on their end . At this point I am thinking , how do I know that I am not going to come back in an hour later and have the same thing happen again? I bring up this concern to the technician , she then steps away and asks a pharmacist if my prescription can be filled any sooner due to the situation . The pharmacist types some stuff into the computer , glances at me and and sends her back over to give me the bad news which is I that I do indeed have to wait at least another hour because " we are really busy." No apology is given and she tells me I can go wait in yet another line to speak directly to a pharmacist....GREAT another line! I think maybe I have gotten my first break since there is no one ahead of me at the pharmacist consultation window...no such luck! All 5 pharmacists on duty ignored me standing 5 feet away until finally a friendly woman ( manager maybe) in plain clothes ( meaning not uniformed ) asks if she can help me . I explain the situation again and ask if she can help me communicate with a pharmacist so that I can leave with my filled prescription . This woman is the first person that seems to be genuinely concerned so I entertain hope . She ( non - uniformed nice woman) excuses herself and walks over to speak with one of the pharmacists regarding my situation . The pharmacist whispers to her for a minute , shoots me a less than friendly look( now the second one I have gotten today.) Non-uniformed woman walks back over to me and she say, " um actually we don't have your prescription in stock so we can't fill it " and hands me back my script which is now partially torn because they have ripped a bar code of some sort off of it . WHAT ON EARTH ?!?! At this point the orginal drop off technician turns back up and I say to her , " didn't you check to see if my medication was in stock and determine that it was?" She looks around nervously at her co-workers not knowing what to say ( my assumption is not knowing what lie to tell ) and she answers me just as the other woman (non-uniformed employee ) speaks up so they are both answering my question at the same time. The original pharmacy tech I dealt with says , " it must have been a mistake because I checked." The non-uniformed employee says , " we um ran out of it since you were in earlier ." No one bothers to explain why the other pharmacy tech also thought they had stock of the medication and had determined between she and one of the pharmacists that I should just come back in another hour. Being busy ;thus ,having a wait time and long lines is totally understandable , but lying to customers, wasting their time ,giving them inaccurate information and then ignoring the customer standing 5 feet away seeking a resolution to the deplorable service is inexcusable . This establishment does not offer the exceptional service that can be found at other CVS locations ; they obviously don't hold themselves to the same standard. As a side note I ended up going to the Rite Aid 1 minute down the street where I enjoyed excellent customer service and was able to get in and out within a 15 minutes time frame so I suggest taking your buisness to Rite Aid at 8601 Baltimore National Pike Ellicott City, MD 21043 if you are looking for a pharmacy in the same vicinity as this CVS. read more

I bought a case for my iPhone 6s Plus at this CVS. Was wondering why the $15 case was being sold for $2. When I got it home I found out why. The case had a manufacturing problem and you can not use any of the buttons on the side to turn phone on or adjust volume. Why was CVS selling this defective product??? I assume they knew since they had discounted it so much. I took it back and told them, but they did not seem to care. I would be careful on buying any non-brand merchandise from this CVS store. I have been calling this CVS for the one remaining script they fill for me ALL day & the line has been ringing - no voicemail no voice options NOTHING just RINGING. This is ridiculous - this is not the main store CVS, this is a pharmacy a function of healthcare. If YOUR customers/patients can't rely on you for their healthcare needs: This is very troublesome.
