Your normal CVS. It's convenient sort of. But like every other one. Be extra careful in the parking lot though.

This is a really nice CVS in a great location. Very clean store and helpful staff.

Horrible pharmacy. Said it would be a two hour wait for my prescription (took more than three. Ended up filling it under the wrong name. Staff is rude and took over 10 mins to answer drive through. Used to love this location but it's horrible now. read more

The pharmacy is so slow , and if you're using a GoodRX code, be prepared to be shifted from one line to the next. Back to Walgreens for me!

Avoid the pharmacy at all costs: it's horrible. They've screwed up my prescription so many times and overcharged me. I even was told by my doctor "if they give you the wrong prescription again, have them call me." (They kept sending me a drug 1/3 the size of my RX and charged me 3x the amount it would've been). When they gave me the wrong one for the third time, I told the pharmacist to call the doctor and they flat out refused, saying it "won't change anything." I've since switched pharmacies. I still go here to shop since it's so close to me and 24 hours, but there is a man that works here I always dread facing late at night. He's been there years. Middle aged overly friendly "greeter" at the door with glasses who gets way too close to you and stares the whole time you're shopping and sometimes follows you. I get the creepiest vibe from him. Terrible pharmacy experience, absolutely no sense of customer service. Kim Sheedy does not deserve to be a pharmacist, no compassion or understanding of the patient's situation. This is supposed to be a company focused on health and well-being and not just a business solely out to make more money. Very disappointed. read more

They make their own decisions about which prescriptions to fill. You can have a perfectly legitimate prescription for pain medication, but they'll say let me check if we have it which means they are running it by the head pharmacist who does not like to fill these prescriptions. They'll tell you gov't rules won't let them fill it and basically they are lying because more than once I have had to go to another pharmacy with the same prescription, on the same day and had no problems. So I am simply not doing business with them anymore after living here for 10 years. read more

Pharmacists was extremely dumb when asking about the effects and timeframe of a medicine I picked up. She kept saying 'probably and maybe'. I thought pharmacists were supposed to be a better resource than google, but apparently not at CVS! read more

Only go to this location, if you have alot of time to kill. The full service drive thru lane is always full and takes at least 25 minutes to get through, same slow service inside. I dropped off a prescription at 11:30 today and said I would be back at 4:00 to pick it up. The girl at the drive thru window, said no problem. I went back to the store today at 4:15 waited in line 20 minutes, only to be told by the giggling sales clerk that they were running behind and it wasn't ready. I asked for my orginal prescription back and took it to Riteaid on Rogers Avenue and they had my order ready in 20 minutes. I have no problem with the rest of CVS only the pharmacy. read more

24 hour CVS is definitely worth it. Its a typical CVS with pretty friendly staff. The nurse at the minute clinic is really nice and knowledgeable. read more

worst pharmacy experience ever. The pharmacist was rude and didn't try to resolve an easy to solve issue even though I had spent 40 plus min twice waiting in drive thru. When I finally told her after being treated rudely that I was never treated that way by Giant she even suggested I go there. Customer service starts at the top and if they keep medical staff that act this way to customers I find it hard to believe. I will take my business across the street to Walgreens next time good bye CVS pharmacy! read more

This place SUCKS!!!!! Pharmacyl took 45 minutes to fill 1 prescription. Next time I'll go to Walgreen's.

There are literally dozens of places to get a flu shot these days, but on a whim we decided to stop in to this CVS today. We signed in, waited for 45 minutes (well past the estimated wait time), received a text message that it was time for our shot, and waited as the door opened on the Minute Clinic. "You are welcome to wait," the nurse said, "but it is time for my mandatory lunch break." When we said we'd just received a text telling us it was time for our shot, she would only say that it was time for lunch. And it is time for us to find another place to for our pharmacy needs. read more

The CVS pharmacy of this store has plummeted over the past few months. I have been a regular pharmacy customer the past 7 years and have never seen anything like this. Its a shame because I have actually been going to this store since I was a teenager 15 years ago and used to walk there before i had my license. My prescription would not go through insurance since it was a 1 month prescription instead of 3 months. The pharmacy called my Dr. office to get it verbally approved for 3 months, and they filled it up. On my first pharmacy visit for pick-up, the 3 month prescription was $350. They suggested that I could call my insurance to verify the price, which I thought was a kind suggestion. After checking, one week I came back to CVS for visit #2 to pick it up (the price was correct). They said they no longer had my pick-up order. I said "oh it must have been put back on the shelf since i did not claim it in 5 days?" They said "actually no, we have no record of you ever having a 90 day prescription, we never had this order for you." I was frustrated and specifically told them that they had talked to my dr. office via phone, and that this order was ready for pick up one week ago. The technician was apologetic. She suggested i could buy 4 pills so i had them immediately. And that she would call the doctor to confirm the 3 month prescription. And the next day i could come back to CVS to pick up the 90 day prescription. On visit #3 i went through the drive through hoping to pick up the prescription and be done with it. Wait in line for 15 minutes. Drive through person is confused and says i need a Dr. prescription for 3 months and i need to call the doctor. I walk into the pharmacy, and wait in another "drop off" line for 15 minutes. I have the technician listen to the voicemail from his coworker saying that i am good to go on this 90 day prescription. He tells me that the authorization didnt go through. read more

Horrible, terrible, awful. There were 6 people in front of me. I waited over 2.5 hours to finally see Stacy who practically knew nothing. She spent more time looking things up in a book than anything else. Not only was it frustrating, but it was a complete waste of time. The minute clinic is not efficient, or quick in ANY stretch of the imagination. I've been to the Target clinic before. They are so much more organized than CVS was. I will never go to CVS ever again. I would give my rating zero stars if I could. read more

Could I give this location Zero Stars?!?!? Not only did they waist my time, the manager was extremely rude! Do not use this location to receive or send a MoneyGram. They had me go through all of the steps, just to realize that their system was off line. No apology, not we are sorry... Simply, "We can't help you, go to another location!" Too bad my receipt was already confirmed for the CVS Kiosk! Thank you for being rude and unapologetic for your inability to perform basic service! read more

I've shopped here ~20 years by default since they were the only close drug store - my husband swore off them for prescriptions years ago after they gave his heart medication to someone else and refused to honor a prescription over the phone or fax. When the Walgreens opened across the street I said I'd never go back in CVS. But, I got a 20% off purchase in the mail and knowing I needed quite a few cosmetics, I went. Big Mistake. They had practically none of the items I wanted (pretty generic Cover Girl, Revlon, etc.) and the few items I did select seemed over-priced. I had a time constraint so instead of leaving I tried checking out. No one, no one was at the counter. There were several of us in line and finally one lady came over and told us to all come over to the self-checkout lines WHICH ALWAYS MESS UP. Apparently they don't want to staff anymore. I normally primarily deal with the pharmacy. The employees go out of their way to greet you and make you feel welcome, even though they appear to have a huge volume of customers and prescriptions per day. Day or night, they seem to always have a very high flow of customers and normally always very pleasant. I was disappointed that they didn't decorate for the holidays, this year. Our local CVS employees always went out of their way to have a great holiday spirit, but I was informed that regional management wouldn't allow them to decorate the pharmacy this year. I've been a loyal customer of the Ellicott City CVS for over a decade. This store is always well stocked and efficient. Cudos to the local management. read more

Slow service. Third time this year they have not had my monthly prescription in stock - say it will be in stock on Monday but then on Monday it wont be instock until Tuesday. I am frustrated and unfortunately noone is very nice. I will be looking for another pharmacy read more
