It is an old fashion pharmacy which will even mix your items together for you. My dermatologist wanted to give me a prescription which my insurance would not cover for $300 and this pharmacy mixed together what was needed for $40! Again it's a small business owner you can drive through and you have great service! What's not to support? It's wonderful to have a pharmacy like this around because Walgreens and CVS in the big boxes will not compound items together a blessing to have them!

Don't believe them...they don't do it. I go to the Locust Grove, GA store #1052 to pick up my 1 $2.07 RX. I walk past the line up to the Prepaid Pickup window. I am told by the person at the regular pickup window to go to the back of the line. I tell her no need to because I prepaid. She says there is no one to help me even though there are at least 5 other people working. I say I will just wait here. I am told that the 2 that can help me are both on the phone and they are too busy to help. So I stand there waiting on my prepaid RX while the snarky cashier helps every other customer except me. After they clear out all the other customers she tells me she can get me now. One of the other two that can help is off the phone but didn't even bother. Don't offer a service that you don't provide and then have nasty, mean girl staff make sure they don't help you. Complete customer service fail and unfriendly service on top of not delivering what service that you promised and promote. Also don't think you will get help from the Publix corporate office either. After 6 calls of being hung up on and transferred all over the place because there is no "CARE" in their Customer Care, I finally was able to leave a message for a "Mike Chavez" over the Pharmacy services for store #1052. Did he give me a call back? No he did not. And based on Publix's total lack of caring about the customer, I am sure I won't hear from him tomorrow either.

Somehow, I remembered that I would need to bring my medications with me but at the last minute when it was time to put them into the bag, I forgot. So now I'm off on a two week road trip and I'm going to be without my prescription. Publix to the rescue! I stopped in here, told the nice young lady my story, and she punched a few keys on the computer. Lo and behold, my prescription is available to be renewed here and transferred from my regular Publix back in Charlotte. Bada bing, bada boom, I got a text message a few minutes later that it was ready to be picked up. I hadn't even finished my shop at this point. That's service! Pleasant, efficient, friendly. The soda shoppe inside here has a lunch counter like you might find in historical photos of 1960s America, and they make great shakes and floats. Both were very tasty; enough to have me thinking about when I can go back for lunch again. The woman working the counter was very helpful and kind in walking me thru the menu options, and the pricing was good. The gift shop area is currently featuring fall-themed items (think pumpkin-flavored and turkey-themed treats and decor). However there is still a large sampling of items without the fall theme. Honestly, just browsing the gifts is a great way to get ideas when looking for something for someone special.
