This store is unorganized, understaffed and rude. I do not recommend if you have another choice.

I shopped at CVS Pharmacy on 26762 Portola Parkway in Foothill Ranch. I had to pick up a prescription since I chanced CVS stores recently. This location is closer to the other stores that I shop at. The place is nice and clean' The cashier super friendly. I finally found a CVS store that treats me with respect, a nice and kind staff and always very helpful and, that is important to me. Went in for child passport photos. The lady was SuPER helpful! She was great at distracting my child and helpful at making her feel comfortable. She also made good suggestion to put our toddler on our shoulders to help our child feel more comfortable for the photos. I wish I caught her name but she was an older Asian American lady. She was the best and we wouldn't been able to get a passport photo without her! Can't thank her enough! read more

One of the worst pharmacy ever, they are going to irritate you to the hell and make you suffer, specially pharmacist Victoria, & sammy and this time I am going to send a formal letter to CVS about their behaviour. They are rude or may be born rude, don't even know how to talk properly forget about professionalism being in a licensed job. They should go get some classes on how to talk softly and professionally specially when you are working in the medical environment but they are going to talk to you as if you are living on their mercy on the contrary they are working because CVS is making money out of our insurance. Also since they have professional responsibility, the pharmacist and CVS are jointly responsible for the act done by the employees in the course of employment but I believe they are not even aware of that so let me send a formal complaint to the CVS. read more

I used self check out this afternoon, bought two bottles of nighttime, waiting for service, after service announcement ended, still no one came even two employees were nearby, after serviced other customers, the customer service light is blinking for few minutes, they were still service the customer in line, finally, I spoke loudly, " I have been waiting for over 5 minutes here." Another customer right next to me also said to them, you guys need to help her first. read more

This is the rudest CVS pharmacy I've ever been to. The guy that helped me seems like he hates his job. He's snappy and has a horrible attitude. I had to pay for my Rx because they don't have my insurance on file (I've been to CVS with my insurance many times before) we just moved so I don't have any of my cards with me right now and I asked him if he could pull it up for me since I've done this before at my old CVS with my SSN(medical) he said nope sorry we don't have anything all file you have to pay. It's fine I get it you don't want to do the extra work I should have my card, BUT the attitude and way he spoke was just very unprofessional and rude. Would give zero stars if I could. The service at CVS pharmacy in Foothill Ranch has the worst service. When my mom lived in Garden Grove and we used CVS pharmacy in Anaheim on Katella, they were great and caring staff. But these employees of the Foothill Ranch location are the worst staff ever. read more

Absolutely the worst. The staff is really unhelpful here and racist. The cashier was rude, did not wait until the receipt came out of the machine and give it to me and she just walked away. Her demeanor was very unfriendly. What she walked away to do was harass a poor African American boy who was waiting outside. While I was leaving the store she tells me "be careful with him". The boy wasn't doing anything, he wasn't harmful at all as he stayed away pretty far and minding his business and not try to hurt me in anyway at all. Instead of doing her job of tending to customer(who was brown btw) she proceeds to do this. Absolutely horrendous in this day and age after the Starbucks fiasco and the pandemic we are in, people like her still have no empathy for a child. He was just a child not more than 15-16 years or so. Shame on CVS for hiring staff like this! read more

The worst cvs pharmacy I've ever been to. Staff is ignorant when people are IN STORE waiting and would rather take every car customer outside or pick up. I was waiting since 6:45 to drop off and it's now 6:59 and they barely decided to attend to me. HOW DOES ANYONE WAIT THAT LONG WHEN NO ONE IS IN FRONT OF THEM. So I had to go to the pick up line, just for them to even notice I was still there and had been waiting that whole time. Also - they don't even give you a choice when you want brand instead of generic (obviously because they make more money off generic). The pharmacist there just said "ok generic will be ready in blah blah" then moved on to the next customer, without even waiting for me to respond. Of course they go by what is covered, but my insurance had covered brand the whole time (after a prior auth), so I had questions why it was suddenly changed. But nope. Ignored and didn't even care to help me out. At least look at the damn computer or At least show that you CARE if you want someone to come back to your pharmacy. The worst part is I actually go here a lot, yet they treat me like just another number even though we are all familiar with each other. Long story short - I'm tired of coming here only because it's close to my house and complaining about it every time. I would rather go further away to my OLD pharmacy that actually CARES. read more

Do not use their drive through. Incredibly slow service. Will make you wait in line for over an hour only to tell you the medicine you came there for is out of stock. Then will take another 30 minutes just to call another store to reserve the same meds. read more

Don't come here, I repeat don't come here!! Especially don't the drive through!!!!! They do the COVID test in the drive through and it takes forever waiting for those people to do it. They should setup a tent or tell them to go to a clinic where they can properly exposure the procedure. Also do you really want your prescriptions pass through the compartment where the COVID went through without cleaning. What in the actual F?! I received two text messages this week letting me know to pick up my 3 prescriptions for my surgery. I got here and they were scrambling around for about 15 mins while cars were piling up behind me. Finally they tell me only 2 of the 3 were ready and that I had to go back behind the last car to get the 3rd one. Really?! This is not how it works! Get your ISH together!! This Martin who works at this cvs location won't let me use my 40% off skincare coupon for a Clarin's toner. He said a toner is not "skincare " I wanted to laugh at his limited knowledge on basic skincare categories. I even showed this Martin the Clarins website that has the details for what a toner is. Then this Martin said oh, the skincare coupon is only for this isle "points at the Olay section" then I read the coupon to him "it's for ANY skincare products". Then he said ok I will LET you use it this time..... I mean... I followed what my coupon said... it's so disgustingly how he reacts and made me feel like I'm abusing the coupon and he made a big scene out on it! It's a 40% for any skincare coupon!!!! Don't use this pharmacy, their website indicates when you can refill a prescription, it takes into account when you picked up your previous one but if you call to check what time it will be ready and the person answering is in a bad mood then they will not fill it until the next day, they don't care if you are out and could suffer life threatening side effects. This is not the first, second or even third time, nobody has time to change stuff like this, we want convenience. Well it's time to make time. Just FYI the front of the store is great and the customer service keeps me coming back. read more

This CVS, specifically the pharmacy and specifically, Victoria, needs 0 stars. She was rude and was dismissive about my complaint. I keep getting text messages from cvs saying they are waiting for my doctors refill order which I know they have and when I have called CVS in the past, there's always confusion on whether or not there is a refill order. To put an end to this monthly confusion and last minute scramble for a prescription if I needed one, I decided to call my doctor, confirmed they had sent the prescription and called CVS pharmacy back to relay the information. This is when Victoria and I interacted. Victoria was rude, and her answer was, "I don't sit here, writing text messages and send it to you" and that it's not her problem. Well, Victoria, then direct me to someone who can fix it because I really don't need the last minute inconvenience. This is clearly a CVS problem and someone needs to fix it. You can't just be a mechanical robot pharmacist just filling prescriptions. You are also client facing so how about some customer service? She also hung up at the end, I guess because she couldn't handle it when I said, "well it's frustrating that you can't fix it". Don't be rude to your customers. After being up all night and spending most of the day at urgent care with my daughter, needless to say, I was extremely tired by the time I went in to fill her prescription. I had barely a wait before we were greeted by Triet who was AWESOME!!!! I had forgotten my purse and had assumed my daughter's insurance card was in the system but unfortunately it was not updated. I asked Triet if I could use the virtual card on Anthems website and after pulling up the info on my phone, Triet quickly took the information and updated her record. Additionally after running the prescription through, there was some sort of restriction but once again Triet sprung into action and resolved without causing alarm or extended wait time. I joked with him about my hopes to receive a survey receipt and just my luck, one did not print but I was determined to get this feedback out. This review is only for the pharmacy. You would think after years of being a part of this pharmacy I would get the clue and move on. It has a drive up. That was the only reason I kept going. That has all changed. One word: RUDE. It's like you are wasting these peoples time! They do have one guy who works there who is ALWAYS kind, smiling and polite. I do not know how he manages to do it while he is surrounded by rude, horrible pharmacists! You would think they would go the extra mile but I noticed if it takes up more time they don't want to deal with it. DO NOT waste your time here. WORST CVS Pharmacy I have ver been to. Always messing orders up. A few of the employees there are extremely rude and not friendly at all. They have the "what do you want" mentality. I switched all my scripts from another location only because this was 7 miles closer, but it has been an issue every time we go there. I didn't understand. They have enough staff, and a nice store. My daughters doctor phoned in 6 prescriptions to CVS in Foothill Ranch. She received a voicemail indicating that they didn't take her insurance. She called back and asked to transfer her prescriptions to another pharmacy and she was told that they had filled 3 but the 4 Rx was going to cost 310.00 so she declined the 4th Rx based on the cash price.. When she went to pick up the clerk/technician told her there was 2 more on hold but couldn't tell her why!! My daughter left with only 3 prescriptions as she is very sick and couldn't communicate with the clerk..When the clerk asked if she had any questions about her meds my daughter said no as there was a communication issue to start.Per the Board of Pharmacy a clerk is never to ask that question and a Pharmacist should of come out with a new prescription! We had to go to 2 other pharmacies to track her medication that was under her prescription program! They charged her full cash price for the 3 they did fill without asking or relaying! When a client asked to transfer prescriptions why would you say we have 3 filled when you know you are not contracted with the plan?? They took total advantage of a very sick person.Secondly Board of Pharmacy would not be happy with how there was not an immediate consultation with a pharmacist! Clean store. Easy parking. Good selection of stuff. However customer service BAH-LOOOOOOWWWS. One person in particular always seems to have an eye-roll and a dead stare ready and waiting for you . Want to be judged harder than your bitchy, "organic-only" Aunt can throw atcha? Come here and get in line to pay for a few ice cream bars. I have been a loyal CVS pharmacy customer for 20 years. We moved to Foothill at the end of last year and the pharmacy staff at this location have made errors in our prescriptions about 6 of the 9 months that we've lived here. If you are thinking of using this location I would drive the extra mile or two to use a different location, or a different pharmacy altogether. The attitude of the staff is generally sloppy and the billing practices that we have experienced defy logic and are questionable. Avoid this location! read more

This is the worst CVS location ive even been!! I came here yesterday to get some passport photo done.. I came here around 10 am in the morning and there werent many workers when i entered the store.. so i went up to the cashier and told her that i want to take some passport photo.. and the lady told me that she can help me with that.. she made me wait for 5-10mins before she actually came to get my photos taken. not only that, she didnt know what a passport photo should look like.. she doesnt even know that we have to show our ears clearly and cant cover it with hair.. shes so amateur and unprofessional. i ended up taking several pictures and keep repeating it until she got the right pix.. she was mumbling and so unhappy coz we have to keep re-doing it.. it is not my fault that she cant take a professional pix.. she finally got tired and told me that the last pix will work.. i told her that a part of my ear is covers with hair.. the passport immigration might not accept it since they are picky.. but she said its ok, its acceptable and went on to print it without my consent. i ended up paying $7.99+tax for this ($9.99 without coupon) for this stupid pix. I'm not trying to be racist or anything. but this lady is an indian, and ive had alot of problems dealing with indian workers for as long as i can remember.. they always grumpy, impatient, not nice, etc etc.. but of course there are some that are nice, but definitely not this one. there was another worker that works in the loading area was even more helpful and nicer than this indian lady.. i wish i could give negative star!! this indian lady should improve her attitude in serving customers and if she keeps treating customer like this S***, the store should fire her.. honestly, she was so freaking rude..! im definitely going to complain if i CANT use this photo, and have them redo it without me having to pay again. coz i dont think its my fault to begin with..!! Head Pharmacist Scott was a rock star yesterday for us - I wanted to Yelp him for just being helpful, despite a very busy plate of tasks. Our doctor had made a typo on our prescription, and given the stringent new oversite of pain killers - our strength was no longer covered by insurance. This innocent mistake would've cost us an extra $65 for 40 pills. Scott was able to track him down on his mobile phone, and he didn't even make us come back. It's rare to see this level of customer service especially from the top person in the department. read more
