this place SUCKS!! I have been coming here for over a year for three medications & they somehow always find a way to mess up the simplest transactions. Throughout my time coming here i've had numerous issues with insurance when i have never had such issues elsewhere. In one instance, they attempted to make me pay the retail price of a medication even though i had the proper insurance and would not even consider listening to me, at the time an 18 yr old female, until my father had to be called from across the country. The blanent ignorance and stupidity of their employees baffles me. I'm so happy to have finally transferred my medications elsewhere. read more

This pharmacy has gone down hill ever since they got new people working. They never take accountability for their mess ups. They always blame the customers they fill 3 of the same prescription at the same time and when you catch it they make a big deal saying they weren't the ones who did it. They hav3 tried to make me pay a co pay when I never ever have in the past and my insurance has never changed. I have to wait for them to fix their mess up to be fixed. if you have your insurance card info writen on a paper and not the plastic card, they're not going to give u the medication (new hire). Its 2026 they can have a computer they act like they cant look anything up. they ask me to pay full price cash though. so u can give me my meds but u dont wana type up my insurance info. i gona transfer my stuff to amazon pharmacy. at least i dont have idle my car for 20minute in the drive through for this read more

I do not tend to come here as the parking lot is usually very scummy and it just feels "off" I don't use this pharmacy despite being in walking distance to my home because the line is usually worse than Starbucks on free frappe day.. Today, I had no choice.I needed a gift card that they carry. As I exited my car parked very near the doors, I saw a pile of diarrhea. I'm not sure it it was canid or humanoid but it stank. I carefully avoided it only to have to cross a river of piss that someone had deposited on the wall right next to the entry door. There was what also appeared to be several pools of various melted substances that may have been ice cream in a previous life. Inside the place was trying to be cheerful from under a grimy grip. They indeed had the gift card was in search of so, I made my way to the line. It wasn't bad..only 3 people. But the lady at the cashier was signing up for some store program that took a few moments...it seems like there could be a more efficient way to handle this. By now my anxiety was rising, because this place has all the warmth of a prison riot. I gave 2 stars because at least the cashier was pleasant and helpful. Walking back out to my car, I noticed the diarrhea had been stepped in and the hokey pokey maneuver had been employed to remove it. Avoidance at this point was tricky at best and the stink stank worse than ever. I feel for whoever did the squish. I will continue to avoid this store like the plague. read more

I understand it's tough to staff but just change your hours. I came here for medication after a trip to the Ear and there's a sign on the door that says the pharmacy won't open until 12:15. They didn't come until 12:25...I didn't get my prescription until 12:47. Just close if you can't keep hours. read more

Covid-19 phase! Great store! Clean! I went here to get cereals. They had a big selection of to go ones. Pretty great! Bought many! Of course when you go to stores like this you can't only get what you plan on. Ran across M&Ms dark chocolate! How could you not like that! Easy check out. The worker had a mask on and was nice! They have tons of different stuff! From meals to drinks, candy, cosmetics, all different medicines, etc. Good service and store! Recommended! read more

Only 4 stars for Kyra Kira I'm not sure what's been going on with the pharmacy but they're gone down so much. On 7-6-22 the pharmacy's system went down and they had been down for hours. I went through HELL to get a prescription on 7-6 I saw it was filled and I just had to pick up. I went back to the pharmacy to pick up and their system was down (which is understandable) I told them I needed my script before I leave on a 2 week vacation The older middle eastern lady was so so rude and didn't care what I had to say and didn't want to help me. She told me there was nothing they can do. As I was leaving the store I was shopping around and was on the phone venting to my BF how upsett I was I couldn't get my medication before my vacation that I was leaving on a flight in 4 hours This CVS worker Kyra or Kira over heard me because she was stocking shelves by me. She was immediately trying to help and was so so sweet. She asked me a couple questions and was gonna see if it was okay to just give me my script. Sure enough it was perfectly fine! I'm so happy she was listening to me when I was upset and she stepped in and tried to help in every way she could. She really made my day that day. I was having a horrible day and she literally just took so much worry and stress away. CVS is having a lot of issues with this pharmacy I hope they can train their employees to help others the way Kira did for me! She didn't have to do that she didn't have to care but she did She went out of her way to help me unlike people who were behind the counter standing there while phones are ringing and they can't even tell customers who call that their system is down and they're making everyone drive down to the store when they can't even help them Thank you Kyra I hope they get rid of the other horrible pharmacy techs because you're great and actually have great customer service! I like CVS, I think they have some great products and have a decent pharmacy. I don't like this CVS. Pretty simple, you take care of the customers and be nice, pretty simple. Came on to grab a couple of Gatorades ( it was 105 outside) and a snack before hitting the road again. Walked in, found what I was looking for and began walking to counter. I see a gentlemen, later identified as ERICK # 1751584, sitting on the floor organizing a couple of shelves. I looked at him, look up at the counter, he asked is anyone up there? I said yes one person, he turned back to the shelves and ignored me. I walked up behind now 3 customers plus me. Erick looked over at us, sitting and continued to organize the shelf, I thought maybe he is not the clerk and now he will call for one. Nope, it was him. I don't mind waiting a little bit, 5-10 minutes but come on dude, you see us. Finally, I asked Erick if there is any way the customers at the counter can get some help. He had the shittiest look on his face, slowly got up, he walked like he has no purpose in the store and gets to the counter. Then he proceeds to check us out, with an attitude. When I finally got up there, he mumbled something, I asked him to clarify and of course, oh I didn't say anything. My husband forgot to bring one of his daily medication so we went to this 24/7 CVS for immediate help on a Sunday night. Honestly, I never shop with CVS, they aren't close to my house. Recently thought, I visited the Prather, Ca location on my way through, I bought one box of (CVS) patches for quitting smoking. I normally buy the Walmart brand, which work great. The CVS patches are like band aids. They do not stick to skin like normal and every other brand patches. I used one patch and it fell of in a few hours. Supposed to last 24 hours. (These are expensive!) So I took the box back to the cvs closest to my home. It was the next few days. I no longer had receipt. (I thought they would stick!!) I offered to exchange for the more expensive patches and pay out of pocket. The people that work in the Shaw and Fresno location not only made me wait forever, but also made me re-explain myself with two employees. It was embarrassing in front of other customers. Than told me, there was nothing they could do for me. If I no longer have receipt. So guess what.. I went and bought a pack of cigarettes. CVS. You do not care about us. I only used one patch, with a two week supply. You are rude , you patches don't stick and I will never revisit CVS because the way you treat us humans. read more

Perhaps I am being unfair because this is the second pharmacy I have visited tonight that was closed before their posted hours. I believe this is a 24/7 location but a handwritten sign on the door said open at 7:30am and the person at the door said they just don't have the staff tonight - but then I saw about 5-6 employees walk in together (and there were more employees already inside). If you plan on filling your perscription at CVS - DO NOT FILL IT HERE - I was transferred from another CVS (I love the Cedar and Herndon location - SO professional) as they didn't have my medication in stock. They called a head of time, confirmed it was in stock, transferred my medication and I made my way over to the N. Fresno CVS. I was told the medication would be ready as soon as I got there. I should have asked, honestly begged, for any other location. I stood in line for over 45 minutes, was ignored/not even acknowledged, (l would have appreciated a "hey were busy and will be with you soon" or literally anything to be honest) and they helped multiple people who had came in after me. I patiently waited in line, silent, and after about another ten minutes, they called me over just to tell me they hadn't even filled it yet and they didn't even "get a call" when they did. (I was IN FRONT of the pharmacist when she called at the Cedar and Herndon location.) One employee was playing on his phone at the the drive through station when no one was there... and others just looked at me and never called me over... I usually NEVER leave bad reviews unless the customer service and overall professionalism is severely lacking, but there were others just like me who were waiting longer than I that were clearly treated the same way. I can't even imagine how long the others waited... overall a not to positive experience, and I would never recommend filling your prescription or getting any medication from here... read more

My fiancé just went here to pick me up some tampons because I am fully out. (It's 12:30 AM). This pharmacy is listed as 24 hours online and when I call the store number. He went and saw two people walk up, but the door was locked. My fiancé walked up himself and saw the security guard asleep on the floor. He knocked on the door, waking up the security guard. He asked the security guard what was up and he just said "we're closed!" We are definitely confused by the "open 24 hours" thing now. This location is losing money in customer sales and in paying the "security guard." Overall, not good. read more

Came here after an emergency trip to Urgent Care to get a prescription filled the same night. 3 delays and 3 hours later we leave with 2/4 prescriptions. They claimed to not have the other two in their system and said to return in 2 more hours to pick them up (9pm). Came back the next day at 12pm to grab the prescriptions on our way out of town and they lost it. They had no record of the order and they lost our only paper receipt from Urgent Care (took it last night to act as a "paper prescription"). When we told them we left the paper prescription with a woman at the drive through, another employee (Ruth) jumped into the conversation and rudely demanded to know the name of the woman who helped us and when we didn't know tried to turn it around on us. Had to call Urgent Care to verify the prescriptions, and we are now waiting for them to fill it. It's been an hour and we were supposed to be driving to Sacramento. We are extremely upset and my gf is in immense pain & desperate for her inhaler and prednisone. read more

They do not value our time, never received a call so calling in, on hold for over 15 minutes, stated I have to talk to the pharmacist. I read reviews and made sure the pharmicist was there, (other times not able to pick up had to "consult" with doctor- those were 30 minutes wait) came back on phone can I help you? Is this the pharmacist? NO, back on hold going on 20 minutes. Retired? Have all the time in the world? This place is for you. Waiting to complete phone call before I finalize this review... probably thinking Im saving time because it is close, faster if I drive to Walgreens instead, 2 miles away. Still on hold 25 minutes... While I am waiting I would like to take this time to thank Yelp for allowing me to vent :) there is satisfaction here .... ok 35 minutes on hold, on the phone with pharmacist, but they only have one perscription and it is not ready. I went to try a purchase over the counter medicine for my wife after she woke up with major stomach aches and discomfort and when I get there I see a hand written sign on the front door that said lobby closed drive thru open. I go thru drive thru and I see another hand written sign that said store open at 5am. So I decided to call the store and a lady answered me saying "oh let me help you at the drive thru" I waited there for 20 min and never got helped. This place needs better staff that really knows customer service. They also need to stop advertising open 24hours because they were not open at 3am when I needed emergency medications. I wish yelp had zero stars as an option. I've been disgusted with this pharmacy and their staff for over a year. After constantly over charging for medication despite having insurance on file, having extremely rude staff and never having a single positive experience at this location literally ever, I decided to transfer medicine to a pharmacy 45 miles away because I rather drive then deal with their staff. The pharmacy staff to begin with is incompetent lazy and rude. When we finally did request transfer they fought us. Claiming we had no refills left. Literal bullshit because they're automatically refilled. So I had to call all my doctors office directly and there's a lot of them. EVERY SINGLE DOCTOR TOLD ME THERE WAS REFILLS AVAILABLE. This staff is just lazy and hate their job. They just didn't want to send the prescription over. Mind you this is medication for a heart problem and cancer. But they obviously don't care about anyone but you. Also don't bother calling. They don't answer or leave you on hold because they literally don't want to talk to you. I'm currently standing in line on hold with them. I just wanted to see how they respond to the phone in person. I've been on hold now for 15 minutes while they converse over whatever bullshit they wanna giggle about. HONESTLY SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Totally loved the customer service I received from this store two days ago. I was only in town for two days and stopped by to see if any of the 90% off storage bins were still available. Sadly they weren't but the staff was exceptional. I haven't had the best experience shopping at CVS and being from out of town I wasn't expecting to feel so welcomed. We only transferred our special needs daughters prescriptions here because Jaimie had moved to this location. We haven't filled here in months since she left. They filled a prescription today so our current pharmacy could fill her seizure medication. I sat on HOLD for 2 hours so I drove there. Entirely out of way from where we live to ask them to return the prescriptions. Dude at the window was a total jerk with a bad attitude because I I him I was on hold for 2 hours. He said he returned them I could tell by his tude, he didn't, so our pharmacy ended up calling on the physician line because they wouldn't answer their calls either to do the return. This place is a JOKE. Mind you they were not busy at the time I called, I was the only person in the drive thru. Avoid this dump. And the homeless people around there are off the hook! read more

I came to this pharmacy to get my COVID booster shot and I had to use the restroom. The tech told me to get the key from the front register. I went to the front register and asked the clerk, who proceeded to tell me she did not want the liability and told me to get a key from the tech in pharmacy. I came back and asked the tech what the cashier told me. She told me to go across the street to McDonald's or the Mobil Gas Station. So, I left and drove to those locations, and, well....both refused as they are not open to public due to COVID-19 (Mobile Gas) and both restrooms were out of order (McDonald's). I had to buy a bottle of gatorade and passed in it. These people just don't want to clean the restroom....lazy workers! I've been to other CVS locations and they allowed me to use the restroom. Cashier also told me because its a pharmacy, they don't let people use the restroom. THAT'S SOME B.S.! I considered transferring my prescription but no way if they treat patrons like this. read more

Absolutely ridiculous. Word customer service, you have to pull any and all information out of them to get anything done. I've gotten messages saying meds are ready when they aren't. Doctor office called to confirm meds and date of fill and they confirmed date of fill but since since Doctor didn't then ask if they had it in stock when it came time to pick up meds of course they did isn't have it. How can you fill a script without stock? You can't. But according to cvs you have to ask BOTH questions separately. Blows my mind. Even a Doctors office can't be assisted properly. Some feedback - when someone calls and says "can this script be filled?", you cannot say YES if you don't have the STOCK. Oh and did I mention the terrible customer service? read more

"Don't come back" are the words I heard as I was near the store entrance on my way out after getting my prescriptions from the pharmacy. I turn around, see the cashier checking out another customer, and I ask, perplexed, "What? Don't come back?" and she again repeats herself as she looks at me. I've been going to this particular pharmacy for several years of my life, to get my prescriptions, and I've never had anyone not only assume I'm stealing, but be bold enough to out loud wrongly accuse me of stealing, and especially not even having a reason to or stating why such statement is said. I can't believe I even went and showed her my bag, I was beyond humiliated. Her response was "That's all I needed to know" No ma'm, you didn't. I didn't need to show you anything, you're not even asset protection, and you slandered against a long time customer of that store.
