Had been to this Walgreens to make Christmas cards, on 3 different occasions, the tech could not get it right, blamed it on new machines, new technology. Did not want to return here but Kroger forced me to. Pharmacy filled prescription within 10 minutes, like the automatic system where your name is entered in the system to be glared at by all, like Baskin Robins of the Walgreen's genre. Having been in their system for 15+ years, my insurance card was not checked for accuracy, ACA has messed with everyone, but my address had changed, repeated it three times and sure enough it is wrong, double checked the bag to be sure I was not walking off with someone else's RX, but too pooped to go back and get the address done right. If small instructions cannot be followed, big ones can be problematic, thankfully this is not a big problem, just inefficient staff.

Two years is enough time and money to spend with a business who doesn't even want to you to patronize it. I will be transferring all of my prescriptions elsewhere. My understanding was that these people, who are not medically trained, are to listen to doctors instead of deciding for themselves what they believe is appropriate. She had ALL DAY to call my dr if that's what her "logic" required. Instead she calls after 8pm saying "sometimes they have after hours." You pay online and go pick it up. When I arrived home that evening my hubby said " Hey I ordered those groceries from Kroger let's go pick them up." Honestly I was thinking "Crap what did he order?" Because honestly my husband buying grocieries is a joke. He picks up things we dont need and throws them in the cart. So i really didnt know what to really think about him ordering grocieries online. .. But thought about it and decided OK let's go. We drove about 15 min to get their and drove around the back of the store. There's a hot line that you call when you park at the dock. We parked in parking spot #3 and called the number. The guy came out confirmed our order and loaded it up in the back of the car and we drove off. Since we've never been to this Kroger before we decided to go in and check jt out we needed a few things anyway that wasn't offered online. As we walked in I was immediately amazed!!! It was like wow!!!! They had a clothing and shoe department. Very well organized and beatifully displayed. The had a whole entire freakin jewelry store in Kroger with an associate and everything. Just like if you were to go in an actual jewelry store. They had a star bucks. A big one and it was beautiful An actual bar- Pull up a stool order your alcohol drinks and talk about your happiness or your worries with the bartender. They had a gentleman with a beautiful assortment of wine they would let you try/sample. You can even purchase a bottle of your selected wine and they will pore you a couple of glasses out of your bottle. Pretty cool. The bakery is absolutely beautiful The fruits and vegetables boasts beautiful colors and a appetizing assortment. The seafood department was clean and displayed products very nicely The had an entire wall/aisle displaying every kind of nut available. We checked out with a cashier named LaMonte and our groceries were bagged by Kayleigh . They both were amazing they gave great customer/guest service and was very polite and informative. I asked LaMonte a lot of questions and she answered them. I asked them both how long had they been working for this Kroger they both have been there for 2 yrs Upon us leaving LaMonte and Kayleigh both said to us "Come back we would love to assist you again". I can go on and on because I am/was so impressed. But i will spare you lol extra reading. I will be going back to this store and I will be checking out with LaMonte and Kayleigh. After 5 more minutes, a different employee comes to tell me they are closed. I told her I was in line prior to closing and she said 'the system automatically shuts down at closing time.' When I asked if I could even check to see if my medication was ready, she said she couldn't because the system had already shut down. If it does automatically shut down at closing as stated, then a lot of people would not be able to complete the transaction they are in the middle of, or service people who were in line prior to closing. If that is true, then they should post that. The rest of my family had to switch to HEB pharmacy because of my wife's insurance. I will be check my insurance to see if switching there is a possibility. They are always kind and helpful.
