You cannot reach CVS when you have a problem -- and the acid test of any good service is problem solving. CVS does not solve problems. They create them. I have to change the location where I pick up prescriptions. When you call to ask them to do this, you cannot under any conditions speak to a live person. So they direct you to accept a text to do this. Fine ..,,,EXCEPT the text link is broken. It tells you it is not working and to try the text response later. It is now many hours later and it is still broken. I tried using the app to change the location, inserting the zip code that this CVS location cites as its zip code in the Google knowlege panel when you pull it up on Google. The app responds by telling you that there is no CVS location there. (I have been there, so yes, there is a CVS there and yes, this is the correct zip code. CVS has a poorly designed and tested app.) CVS just stinks. read more

The absolute worst CVS I have ever been to. The pharmacy is a joke. I waited in line for over 30 minutes and had THREE people ahead of me. No one knows what they are doing..they make people wait for no reason...my advice, get your prescriptions elsewhere. read more

Usually understaffed & understocked with routine items. But their prescription drug prices are absolutely outrageous. On a recent refill of a generic blood pressure med, using my Part D plan the co-pay at this CVS was over $40 for a 90 day supply. On Good Rx.com, there were coupons for many nearby pharmacies with lower prices. The lowest was about a quarter mile away at the pharmacy in the Hannaford supermarket- the Good Rx price was a little more than $20 but the printout also said that without using any coupon or any drug plan at that pharmacy the price would be $10. So, I went there and paid $10, less than 25% of what this CVS would have charged for the same med. Also, when the new shingles shots came out within the past year, this CVS seldom had any in stock, but I was able to get both required doses at the Hannaford supermarket pharmacy. I was treated rudely by pharmacy staff when my very ill husband was short a few pills of antibiotics. So I asked to talk to the pharmacist and "Alex" was even ruder to me. Quite disappointed with the Gilford location, it's too bad they closed the Belmont one they were always so nice there. It's obvious they are overwhelmed. My family has preferentially used CVS for pharmacy and general drug store items for over 30 years. Service has always been outstanding until the last year or so. I know the corporation has had some financial problems in the last couple of years, and this year COVID-19 has complicated things. But we have been finding that the prescription drugs we routinely use are not in stock and won't be available for several days. Also, new common prescriptions are often not in stock, the pharmacists and pharmacy aides only work for a brief period before disappearing, etc. It is difficult to believe that our Baby Boomer prescription drug needs aren't keeping CVS store profitable beyond our imaginations. This pharmacy is awful.. every time I go in there is a problem. Instead of trying to resolve the issues they keep on telling me the next day it will be ready or I can pick it up this day. When I finally called to see when my prescription would be ready I was told they attempted to call me this morning and left a message saying I couldn't pick it up for four more days.. They didn't have my number on file (a correct one) but they sent me a text when my script was ready a week earlier. These pharmacy does not communicate well with each other or truly look into the problem to tell the consumer what's really doing on. After a week of this crap I've changed all my prescriptions to a new pharmacy and I will probably never walk foot into this cvs again. If you want frustrations after frustrations go ahead and go to this pharmacy. This wasn't a one time deal I have had an issue every time I go to pick up or drop off a script. Save your time and go elsewhere! read more

For years and years I have always thought nothing but the best of our Gilford, NH CVS. The last year or more I have not been happy at all. The first few times I noticed frustrating and disappointing service I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But as time went on the service became significantly worse. Nothing seems consistent anymore. The people are usually more rude then nice, they seem like I'm bothering them. I know they get very busy and by no means want them to treat me as their only customer BUT it would be nice to be treated with kindness and patience. Their automatic refill service has not been reliable lately. I realized I was overdue for two prescriptions that had zero refills. Normally they would have notified my Dr. and arranged for more refills but they did not. I called my doctor's office myself and they told me they had sent the prescriptions for refills to CVS 15 days prior. When I called on a Monday to see if they received the refills the recording said they would be ready that following Friday. I have no idea why it would take that many days. I finally received a text telling me they were ready for pick up followed by a text that I needed to call my Dr.'s office for the third prescription refill. When I called to inquire about it the young man was quite rude and had attitude as in "and you are calling why?" I miss the days of the wonderful service at this pharmacy I've wondered if it is under new management! And please know there is still one wonderful lady there but I am switching to Hannaford's or Walmart's pharmacy. read more

This is the absolute WORST pharmacy in the world!!!! My husband already stopped using it and has transferred all his prescriptions to Hannaford. I continued using it until today!!! I took my dog as I was only filling 2 prescriptions and thought I would only be a while. It is November in N.H., ya a bit chilly. I turned in my prescriptions and told them I would wait. I need to mention that I am on oxygen and need to carry it around with me. They told me it would be about 15 minutes. Hahahaha, try 40!!! I have these same prescriptions filled EVERY month here! I sat down to wait. I noticed so many people coming and going that came in after me. Finally, after 35 minutes they called my name. Finally, I thought! WRONG!! As I went to the counter a lady came up from behind me and Pat told me that she was going to wait on that lady first!! I said "You just called my name and I have been waiting 35 minutes!!! I was ignored and that lady got waited on! I was livid!!! Finally, I got waited on by the new girl next to her. It took me another 10 minutes to get checked out. I am transferring all of my prescriptions out of there NOW! I am willing to drive an extra 11 miles to a different pharmacy. This is extremely bad service. All I can say is: "STAY AWAY!!!!!! read more
