This review is not for the store and it is not for the pharmacy. This is a review for the super hot pharmacist that helped me understand my medication yesterday. She had a personality that made me want to keep talking to her. I must have asked her at least 20 to 25 questions about the side-effects of a special mouthwash my dentist prescribed me. She was using big words to help explain the medication to me and it made her even hotter that she was educated. This pharmacy is the worst run facility I've ever seen. Their drive thru is always closed. The pharmacy people are rude and always complaining. You wait forever. They make mistakes. Take your business elsewhere. This store doesn't care about you or your hard earned money. Ad signs are not up on time. Prices don't match from the counter to the register. California weights and measures should validate but his. People are being cheated. read more

This pharmacy has been great for the years my familys been using it. There manners are great and they know how to do their job. And for me that's the whole point. My family and I are covered by our insurance so we never have any problems there, and if they see that you are not going to be covered they will send an email to your doctor specifying the urgency to cover you within 24 hours. Thats great! They are very good at what they do seriously. Yeah I must admit it is rare when your not occasionally in a long line. But they do the job efficiently so I know it takes time. Have patience people! It's true the hours have changed and they are not 24 hours anymore. Hugh Bummer! Especially when my son or daughter just got out of the emergency room at 3am and needs a pharmacy for their medicine. Cvs Pharmacy is at a big loss from this change. The one star relates to the pharmacy, not the store. I can't comment on the store part because I don't shop there. I recently switched several medications over to CVS. It has been nothing but a headache. Three times I've gone in to pick up the meds and I've had to come back later because there was always a problem. This latest time they said the problem would be corrected in 15 minutes. I came back 1.5 hours later and the prescreption was still not filled. I told them to forget it and I'm transferring OUT of CVS. read more

I would have put a minus if it were allowed. One of these days, the DEA is going to shut this place down, least I hope they do. The only reason we use it is because they are open 24/7. But even that is getting old. I have had pain prescriptions go flat missing. I have had only partial prescriptions filled and then told that for some reason, they cannot give me the balance. There are two decent people who work the pharmacy, one is a pharmacist and the other is a cashier. One pharmacist has flat out called me a drug addict. One of the cashiers acts like she runs the place. If she stabs me with her long fingernails one more time, I will probably end up in jail! I had forgotten until someone mentioned it that his used to be a Long's. It certainly does not take long to run a store into the gutter! It is filthy and the merchandise is iffy at best. I have complained twice to CVS's corporate office, twice. The first time I got a very nice reply, the second time, nothing. How can a pharmacy run out of insulin on a Saturday morning????? I was told it was first come, first served! When I asked them what we were supposed to do? I was told that they had no idea. Maybe we could just skip a dose or two? Not kidding. I was so livid. I went across the street to Walgreens and they filled the insulin in five minutes! If Walgreens pharmacy had longer hours, they would not be able to handle the business!! read more

I lost my debit card within minutes someone went into this CVS location and charged over $80.00 and no one asked for ID. This review is just for the pharmacy! We all know CVS is...meh...super marked up prices, but convenient when you don't want to drive across town. But the pharmacy is one of the best experiences I've ever had! I can't say enough about the staff. I have a very complicated prescription I fill monthly and everyone I've worked with has been extremely kind and helpful. Admittedly anytime I go to fill it, I feel guilty that I'm about to complicate someone's life, but I always walk away feeling like they were happy to help me and have gone above and beyond despite the hassle. Just had my second pain perscription disappear after being called into the pharmacy. Called and spoke to management, still waiting to hear back. They claim they never even got the perscriptions even though I verified with both doctors they did. I think I'll be switching pharmacies. read more

I go here for some of my prescriptions. Pharmacy staff is super helpful! I love the fact that they can also notify you through text message if your prescription is ready for pick up. Super convenient! Love their service and I love coming here for my prescriptions. read more

I love this CVS. It is actually my favorite out of any I have gone too. At least the night crew anyway. I usually go late since its quiet and convenient for me. The staff is always so friendly and willing to do more than 1 transaction since I coupon. I love how happy they usually are too. Lately I seem to get rude cashiers and customer service and this is one store I have to say is happy and smiles when they greet you. I have never had to deal with pharmacy as I don't get prescriptions filled there. read more

Worst experience of my life! Will never go back to this place even if they paid me. Management does not have a clue. Cashier "Aieshia' totally clueless. Does not even appreiciate the fact that she has a job. Went in to purchase 6 bars of candy with 3 coupons. (.75 cents off two bars). Cashier looked at the coupon and first thing out of her mouth was "we don't double" coupons! I stated "their are no store's in CA that doubles"; we are not in the mid west? I tell her that I am using one coupon for two bars of candy, as stated. Then she goes on to state that I can only use one coupon for all the candy. Siince it states that it is per purchase. Yes, I said...I have one coupon per 2 bars as stated! She could not understand or wrap her tiny brain around the per purchase. It's not per transaction! Then she states that I can use the coupon but that I have to break it up into three transactions. CVS has not trained this cashier or the assistant manager. They don't even know their own coupon policy. I called their 800 number and made a compliant. Don't know if it will do any good...she even kept my CVS Card. read more

Terrible pharmacy. Rude and always a line. They ate uneducated and make there own rules when filled no perscriptions. They put the instructions for medication wrong on the bottle so I ended up takeing too many. Diana is the worst. Why she has a Job dealing with customers is beyond me. read more

This is for the drugstore not the pharmacy. Love this place I am here minimum 3x a week. Employees are very helpful without making me feel uncomfortable or pressured. I like the diversity of the employees in the drugstore, they are all very professional and pleasant. Only thing is the line situation they should have a sign for where the line begins when you are ready to pay especially for during their busy times. Prices in most cases are a bit more but in exchange for the service and convenience it is well worth it at times I don't want to drive across town. Their selection of items and brands is excellent. The wine I drink is always on sale and this is the only place I can find it on a regular. Overall I enjoy my visits to this drugstore on a consistent basis. Their rewards program is nice, I love getting extra "bucks" every once in awhile and I don't even try to. Definitely recommend this store, a great establishment. read more

This pharmacy has taken a turn for the worst! My issue isn't with the pharmacy technicians it's actually with one of the newer Pharmacist. He's unprofessional and always seems like he's such in a rush that he can't explain properly. First time I spoke to him I thought well it must be a bad day. Well today was the third time and it's the same thing plus he was super jittery like he was on something or has a bad anxiety problem. He kind of was shoving the bag towards me trying to rush me out today 4/30/15. I noticed it a little but the person I was with asked me why I didn't say something because he was pretty rude. If he doesn't want to do consultations then maybe he shouldn't be a pharmacist. I don't like giving bad reviews but this needs to be said. I take my health pretty seriously and if I am going to pop a pill best believe I am going to ask a few questions. I used under 5 minutes of his time and he still seemed like he was bothered and rushing me . The only good time to visit this pharmacy is super late dawn hours the lady pharmacist is an absolute gem! She fills your prescriptions in a timely manner and explains everything thoroughly. I decided that if I visit this pharmacy again I will definitely do it when she is on the clock! read more

It would be minus stars for the pharmacist if they had that!!! I had a horrible experience with the pharmacist here. He told me my ins. was terminated and showed me a print out that proved it and walked away. I knew my ins. had not been terminated. I asked him to call my insurance 800 number for me. He said, " No that it was between my insurance and me." I asked if I could use his phone. He tossed one up on the counter like it was a BIG bother for him. I called my insurance 800 phone number and they could not hear me talk. I hung up and told the pharmacist that the insurance person could not hear me talk and I asked him if he could check the phone and see what was wrong with it. He walked over and said, "That's the phone we use everyday" and left. I looked at the phone and could see there was some red light on so I pushed it hoping it would help. Then I called my insurance again and this time they could hear me. They told me the pharmacist should of called for me. I told them he wouldn't do it when I asked. They told me to put him on the phone. When I asked the pharmacist to come and talk to my insurance he told me it was 11:30pm and it was time for his break and he had to leave but then he walked over and talked to my insurance company. Then he hung up the phone and said, "Do you want the meds or not I have to go on my break." I said of course I want the meds. So I bought them and then as I left I saw him helping another person and he did not leave on a break. Very rude, uncaring man!!!! I was near tears by the time I got my son his antibiotics because of this selfish, non-caring, rude man!!!!!!! Oh and by the way, I have never had this problem before with my insurance. read more

Love our CVS!!..wayyy better then walgreens. They always have more products. .more selection for finicky people like me, that want A to Z options and then some.. that's what's really important to an true drug store. I will say a little more expensive then Walmart duhhh..tinny down fall..but worth the extra 2 bucks. Can't wait for the new bigger store!! read more

This stores pharmacy really helped us to get our meds transferred from where we lived to our new location in Gilroy. They have worked to stay in contact with our new med provider to insure our requests were met quickly and they work hard to stay on top of meds that are coming up for renewal. read more

While my friend and I were walking down the aisle looking around, one of the employees accused my friend of stealing and told my friend to come to him just so he could grab the item out of his hand and throw it on the ground, and when I turned around to see what was happening, that employee thought it would be okay to call me a "fat bitch" and told us to leave. I knew that the customer service was bad there cause it always has been pretty crappy whenever I go there, but insulting a customer is just completely wrong. No stars would be the rating I would give if I could. Just gets worse on a daily basis. The pharmacy is awful, the lines are terrible, they don't have enough staff for the pharmacy which causes long lines, prescriptions to not be filled on time. It really isn't the pharmacy staff it's because they are consistently short handed, which comes down to a poor management. I miss Long's drug stores, since it switched to CVS it has gone down hill completely. They don't have brand names on half the items anymore, it's gone to CVS brands, and some are substandard. The store was a mess this evening with items all over the floor, only one poor girl in the pharmacy because the other staff was on break, then long lines at the front counters. I just drop off my prescriptions and leave now, I don't shop around. Just poor management, and CVS poor standards I guess. It's too bad. Yelp needs to have an option of giving negative points to these kind of run down places honestly. Just had the WORST experience with the pharmacist name Cynthia with an Asian accent over the phone. Called her to fix something on a patients insulin prescription and first she hangs up on me. Second call waited 20 minutes and end up getting disconnected then third time calls and tells me the patient isn't getting the medication thanks to me. No it's not because of me you moronic pharmacist it's because of YOU who has no customer service training you were going to give them the wrong prescription first of all. It's because you realized you made a mistake yet you had the nerve to tell me it's because of me. This post is for the pharmacist CYNTHIA only she is the WORST pharmacist ever and should be fired immediately and never ever be allowed to work in a pharmacy where she is consulting patients.
