Not here--just do not carry it even though the Nob Hill in Gilroy does. Weird. Maybe I got off on the wrong foot here. On my first visit I tried to find the customer service desk to request a membership card to the store, but not only could not find a customer service desk, but could not find any store employees (except for one person frantically trying to check out a long line of customers). There were a number of people restocking shelves, but none of them were store employees--all of them worked for name brand companies that make the products that go on the shelf. I had to go to the Gilroy store to discover that Nob Hill does not use member cards (like Safeway), they think you can do this on a cell phone and later I found out that I could sign up online via my Chromebook and just use my phone number, but no one at the Morgan Hill store was there to answer that simple question. Because there is no member card for Nob Hill and the selection of items at this particular store seems limited, and items I frequently buy are not carried, I rarely shop Nob Hill at all and when I do want something in their ad, I go to the Gilroy store. Prices are about the same as Safeway, more than Walmart or Smart and Final or Target. The shopping center where this store is located and the parking lot is laid out strange and I just did not find it a pleasant shopping experience.

I don't so none of that pertains to me. I stopped in for another purpose and found they have ATM machine as well. If you want cash back be prepared to spend $2.99 for a transaction to get cash back from the ATM machine. That said you have a pretty good variety of snacks. They also have some breakfast items and other items. A lot of smaller sized items like sour cream and other things that you might need at the last minute. The store is very clean and very well organized. It looks brand new inside like it should as it's just remodeled. I was fine with everything and would have given them 5 stars... except for one thing. What I'm about to share, I've more recently seen repeatedly at different businesses. I think it's something that needs to be brought forward. Our nation is no longer making pennies. There is not a system in place to compensate for the shortage. So what is happening with retail businesses is happening at The Liquor Barn as well. When the tax, (for instance my tax was four cents) requires a penny back to the customer the stores aren't carrying pennies. That could be because they're not available. But when ends up happening is the store keeps the extra penny. Now that might not seem like a lot and that might not seem like a problem for a lot of people. But if I was a penny short, what would they do for that? With lots and lots of customers coming through, probably not as many cash customers as debit or credit customers, those pennies add up. To me, if your total sale is this certain amount including tax and this amount of change and a business should have the capacity and the ability to give back the correct change. The problem right now is the nation hasn't adjusted the issue with pennies. So the stores are having to do that. Multiple times now, at different businesses, the person at the register does not refund the extra penny or pennies due to the customer and never says a word to the customer. They just say thank you and they let the customer walk out the door without the change they should be getting. It's ignored. That happened here. I asked where my change was. I had to call it out. I was told they didn't have it. Okay... if you don't have it.... Tell the customer! Don't just ignore it and hope it is not noticed. Because that is theft. I took back my nickel and searched for my own change because they didn't have any pennies. After I called it out he was going to just credit me the .04 cents and give me my nickel back. I didn't want that either. An honest sale is honest on both sides. It's a responsibility to carry pennies in your cash drawer. If you don't have them, put a note up that exact Pennie's are needed. Honestly goes both ways. I understand we have a shortage. But when this comes up, you don't just take the extra money close the drawer and don't tell your customer that you can't refund them the rest of the money that's due to them. It's not the amount. It's the principle. That's a problem at this place. I'm just warning you and I want to let you know to be watchful any place you go these days because this is happening a lot of places. We need to be consumers who are watchful of our money. Even a penny adds up overtime. This is a nice business in a small community. It's important to be honest if you want to establish trust with your customers. Outside of this I was happy with my transaction
