Sick and tired of the pharmacy staff here. There is one woman whom works in the mornings who is…read moreALWAYS miserable! She is always rude to people when they come into to pick up prescriptions by drive through or inside. It is like you are inconveniencing her because she has to do her job. I can't come in to update my insurance information because I am working, so I called to do it so my husband can pick up his medication. She answers the phone and when I tell her I can't come in, she gets an attitude all of a sudden and tells me she will try and just hangs the phone up on me. Not a 'Thank You For Call CVS Pharmacy, Have A Good Day' she just right out hangs up on me by slamming the phone. If you don't like your job, quit. So disappointed because there has been complaints about her before and they don't do anything. I am switching to another pharmacy this place is a joke. It only looks nice by appearance but the service inside is rotten!

I'll be moving to New Mexico soon and just want to take a moment to acknowledge the wonderful staff of the ENTIRE store here in Chepachet. Please allow me to particularly acknowledge Denise and Adam in the pharmacy and Bill in store mngt. For some reason, I usually deal with these wonderful and hard working individuals more than anyone else in the location. I want to thank them for their consistently friendly and professional service. I will honestly miss seeing them! Best Wishes to a terrific team!

Gosh. This pharmacy is a throwback to a time gone by - in the best possible way!…read more I'm going to be honest, the storefront is not impressive. It's in a very small strip mall on busy Atwood Ave next to an Italian deli. But walk inside and it's a neat and clean small full service pharmacy with the things you NEED for your health care needs. Rubbing alcohol, bandaids, various cold remedies and more. Some folks of a certain age may not remember this, but you actually had to go to a DRUG STORE to buy these things. So this is that drug store from your grandparent's days. They also have the old school pharmacy kitsch-sun catchers and little trinkets at the counter. But onto the good stuff -the staff. They are kind, friendly and professional. An absolute delight! They clearly had a steady flow of senior customers who are regulars and they took the time to catch up with all of them. This place is all about service. So please don't come here if you're looking for a big box, in and out, make no eye contact transaction. DO come here if you want someone to connect with you, chat up a fellow customer in line and ask about your day - and have the staff greet you by first name, answer your questions thoroughly and apply the proper insurance discounts for you. Parking is tight but easy in and out with a traffic light adjacent to the parking lot.

You normally refer to them as your pharmacist but I can assure you ot at Atwood they will be your Friends! They are an amazing group of kids from Zahan to Sean and Manny etc. Yes you'll be on a 1st name basis in no time. They have helped me immensely. They are not only helpful they actually care about you. Can you say that at any other pharmacy? Probably not. They're in Johnston approximately 7 miles or so from my house but I'd rather drive there than deal with another cvs or Walgreens. However they do deliver. Switch to Atwood and you'll become part of the family too! I'll never go anywhere else!!

The insurance company wanted its customers to go mail order, that was a joke from the jump. When I raised a legitimate complaint and offered to show you objective Ring-camera evidence, you responded, "I don't need to see that." When I asked why, you gave me no answer. A responsible business owner should want to examine the evidence before making accusations or denying service. Matt, are you running your business, or is your business running you? Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act prohibits businesses open to the public from discriminating against individuals with disabilities in the full and equal enjoyment of their goods and services. It also requires reasonable modifications to business policies and procedures when necessary to provide equal access. See 42 U.S.C. § 12182 and 28 C.F.R. § 36.302. If your decision concerning where--or to whom--your business will deliver was based upon my disability or chronic illness, or if you refused a reasonable disability-related modification, that raises a serious concern under federal disability law. Your accusations are baseless. I served the people of Middletown for eight years as a member of the Town Council, and I have a longstanding record of community service through Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross, and numerous other boards and committees. More importantly, I offered you direct evidence concerning this incident, and you refused even to look at it. That is neither fair nor professional. Your handling of this matter has been unacceptable, and I expect it to be reviewed objectively and corrected

As a department store, it would get 4 stars. Good selections, prices are good, shelves are stocked, and selection is above average The pharmacy would get 5 stars. Very friendly and helpful. Prices a really great. We have to get medication for our dogs, and compared to the other pharmacies in town, we are getting the meds at almost 40% lower here, than at the chain pharmacies. Supermarket section: this would get 0 stars if I could. The produce section is a joke. I've seen better looking veggies at a food bank. Rusty looking lettuces and bagged salads, squash with pucks, dents, and soft spots. Tomatoes that are really soft. Many times shelves are not filled, to the point that you could reduce space by 30%. We did try the meat once, and that is the last time we will buy it. We don't buy milk there anymore because it seems to go bad 2 to 4 days before the expiration date. I'd like to take the temperature of the dairy case because it doesn't feel like it is set to the proper temperature, thus causing it to spoil early. Overall the prices are the same, if not more for certain items, than the other 2 supermarkets in town. As a department store, the place is good, great as a pharmacy, but a total disaster as a supermarket.

I am a regular, paying…read morecustomer, and I have never been given a reason to believe that my behavior should be considered suspicious. However, during my last three or four visits, I have felt as though I was being followed or closely monitored by asset protection or individuals I now understand may have been secret shoppers. I was not aware that the person involved in the most recent incident was an employee, and the situation became so uncomfortable and unsettling that I genuinely believed something more serious or sinister might be happening. I was shopping alone with my baby, and because I did not know the person was an employee, I felt unsafe and began thinking about whether I would need to ask someone to walk me to my car or contact someone outside the store for help. Being constantly stared at and followed made me feel as though my baby and I were potentially in an unsafe situation, and I felt like we needed to get out of the store as quickly as possible. It was only afterward, after discussing the incident with my husband and putting the pieces together, that I realized the person was likely a secret shopper or part of asset protection. I understand that Walmart may have legitimate reasons and good intentions behind having asset protection and secret shoppers, and I fully understand the importance of preventing theft. However, there is a significant difference between discreetly monitoring a customer and making a regular, innocent customer feel followed, watched, or targeted. I have personally seen genuinely suspicious behavior while shopping, which makes it especially frustrating and confusing to feel that I am the person being treated suspiciously when I am simply there to shop and make purchases. This experience has been extremely disappointing and has made me uncomfortable returning to a store that I have considered my go-to Walmart. Customers should be able to shop without feeling intimidated or unsafe, especially when they have done nothing to warrant that kind of attention. I hope Walmart will take this concern seriously and consider how asset protection practices are being carried out, particularly when dealing with regular customers who have given no indication of suspicious behavior. I should not have to worry about being followed or feeling unsafe simply because I am shopping with my baby, and I do not want another customer to experience the same level of fear and discomfort that I experienced.
