Over a week later I called them and they told me that the script had been filled but then thrown out as it wasn't picked up. I reminded them that they said they would call me and the pharmacist told me they don't call customers. That exact moment another person working there was on a headset and said into it " hello Mr _______. This is Walgreens calling you to let you know your prescription is ready" Like...right in front of me while the other guy is saying they don't call people. Then...another script, i called numerous times and they said there was something about the insurance and they would look into it and call me back. 2 days later I again called THEM and they lied to me saying someone called and left a message saying the insurance required mail order and they can't/won't help me further. No calls and no messages no voicemails came to my phone from them so that wasn't true. So...I called my insurance. They said they don't require mail order and told me they would look into local preferred pharmacies they use and guess who they came up with first!? This very walgreens. When i told them that walgreens told me you told them they can't fill this script the agent said there is no way that is true as thier clients use that pharmacy often and there was nothing about mine that would make anyone tell them it had to be mail ordered. So they lied about calling and lied about why they wouldn't fill the script. So they lied numerous times to me, refuse to be helpful and have lost my business and anyone else I can tell about it. These are important mental health drugs that i need and have now gone 2 weeks without because of them givung me the runaround and lying. They shouldn't be allowed to be in business.

Maybe with an add-on plan customers don't pay anything and don't care, but I don't qualify yet for an add-on so I pay up front and get reimbursed 80%. Besides, I am a taxpayer and I don't like the waste for their maximum profit. Anyway, Eagle Highland Pharmacy, known to me online as Ostomy Care Supply, was very helpful getting me set up, letting me know what they needed to process the claim and what that process was. I try not to cut it close, but the shipments do come fairly quickly so that wouldn't be a problem, and the claims have gone through fine. If I lived close, I would try them out as my local pharmacy.

This review is for the Soda Fountain (ice cream shop) only…read more Having read my friend Erin's glowing review, I knew I had to stop by this shop for dessert. The business occupies two buildings with the pharmacy on the right and the soda fountain on the left. Each has its own entrance, but they have an open passage way about halfway back into the shops. The Soda Fountain has a retro look with the black and white tiled floor, small round tables with metal chairs, and the walls are covered with displays of old pharmacy items. The counter stretches across the shop and has additional seating (fixed stools) there. The menu of available items is located on a couple small white boards. One features desserts while the other lists sandwiches they offer. I was surprised that a number of ice cream flavors listed had been crossed out, but at least they had the basics covered. And it isn't just the decoration that is retro...I ordered a full sized Banana Split for $3.75! It came with three scoops of ice cream, each having optional toppings to go with! I went with the works, so it started with a sliced ripe banana, then topped with vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream scoops in the long dish. They added marshmallow cream to the chocolate, chocolate syrup to the strawberry, and pineapple to the vanilla. Then came the whipped cream, chopped walnuts, and a cherry on top. Note that they ask if you want all the toppings, and since it is made right in front of me, I could say "no" to anything that I may not like. Really good and since it was the middle of the afternoon, I was able to chat with the staff about Brazil and other points of interest. Just a fun time with affordable and tasty ice cream. I won't say that the retro look made me feel like I did when I was a boy and sat at the counter in my hometown soda fountain/pharmacy. My mother-in-law and I each chose to order ice cream sodas. I had the strawberry-flavored. As the girl at the counter made them, she explained the process of what she was doing. The owner expects things made certain ways to ensure the maximum flavor and richness. I love that they have such high quality standards! While we drank our sodas, she brought us large glasses of ice water. That is unusual in this day and age. You either have to bye a bottle of water or are provided a small cup for luke-warm water. They also offer different sandwiches here in case you wanted to do lunch and dessert. This place is clean, service was beyond awesome, prices were extremely reasonable. Go here!

They may literally be the only other choices. I had previously used Panacea pharmacy, as they were locally owned and had prescriptions filled quickly. Williams Brothers seems to work on the basis of who is making the most noise or something. It certainly isn't taking them in order as they get them. I'm on pills that my doctor has to call in every month. I call my doctor, the doctor calls the pharmacy. Unfortunately, now I have to call to make sure they got the prescription and again to see if the prescription has been filled. Apparently their notification service doesn't notify you until the very last step. So you could have a prescription filled at 5pm (if you're lucky) but you won't get notified until they file it away for the night. I've only used them for a couple of months, but that may be enough. I'm not sure how or why they can't seem to fill prescriptions in a timely fashion, and it's certainly not because people are clamoring at the counter. It will be completely dead, and the prescription your doctor called in at 10 am still won't be ready. Real life example. My doc called in something for me yesterday morning. I called at 5 pm. It wasn't ready, but would be soon. (RIGHT!) I requested delivery, as standing around isn't something I can physically do much of. This another confusing area. In the past I was told that if a prescription was requested to be delivered by 2 pm, it would make it. The guy yesterday said deliveries started around noon. In any case, when I woke up, there was no notification that the prescription was ever filled yesterday. Either they're sitting on it and will fill it later, or their service shut off again. I prefer to patronize smaller and local businesses when I can, but they make it tough. This may be the last prescription I have filled through them. I HATE CVS, but I'm sure they at least fill my pills in a timely fashion.
