We have been part of their care pass program for about a year. It gives you 20% off of CVS brand healthcare products and other price reductions. For us, the program is a good deal. Recently, after a trip to a cold and rainy Chicago, my wife and I came down with colds and sore throats. To avoid passing on germs we decided to order online some healthcare items and pick them up at the store. Our complete order was ready in less than 50 minutes. I walked in and picked the order up at the front counter and was out in less than 30 seconds. Before we used CVS, we tried virtually the same order with our local Walgreens. We placed the order with them at 4 PM and was told at 5 PM our order would be ready soon. At 9:38 that night, Walgreens texted us and said they could not fulfill our order. Shoutout to the homies in the pharmacy always getting my scripts filled on time. You always see bad reviews for pharmacies, but you never really see the good. They've been my pharmacy for years and I've never had an issue. You can see the pharmacist and techs filling scripts in the background, so kudos to y'all. I see your hard work and appreciate it! I've never had a huge wait for my scripts but then again, I always go inside for pick up. The only time there was a wait was during March/April during the lockdown, so it's understandable. One moment really stands out and it was from years ago. My dermatologist prescribed a medication that my insurance did not cover in the slightest. I have to say this - their pharmacists ate always so helpful and fast to fill up our prescriptions. I never waited more than 30min for a prescription, and thats rare for a cvs. Some ppl complain about lunch hour, but I'd rather a business that treats their employees fairly so they're happy doing their job. Today, we had to get my prescription for Covid and noticed they're short staffed. Still, the lady at the window took only 15 minutes to fill up my prescription, and that lady is always so kind. Rx was finally ready 25 hours after it was promised. Pharmacy does NOT answer phone. Not ever. Their excuse for world's worst service provided by pharm tech: "They (corporate) cut our hours because we didn't make our Rx quota, so now we're way behind." Good to know. Now I have a concrete reason for never returning, and you can bet your arse I will tell all my neighbors about this experience. Seems to be chronic short staffing at this location nearly everyday. Pharmacy tech has poor attitude and pretends to be doing something to avoid helping customers. Really need to have adequate trained staff if you hope to keep business. Buying up other companies and for ring them to use CVS is only going to fill your stores so long. Try to make it a place people want to walk into instead of the nightmare it is now. Yesterday I went online to schedule a Covid test through the drive-through. I was across the street when I was doing this and had secured an appointment for 430 but the website would not let me continue. I drove over to get in the pharmacy line and ask if I could schedule the appointment in person, I waited in line for 36 minutes because the pharmacy tech would not tell the customers who were not getting tested to use the other lane. After waiting in line the tech name jayson told me that someone had just taken my 430 spot and that they were unable to take any more appointments for the rest of the day and to get out of the line because there was nothing he could do!!! I called customer service to see if I could get an appointment at any other store and they told me that that store was more than capable of doing it. They transferred me back to the manager who then told me they weren't going to do it for me and hung up on me!!!!! So then I called customer service again and explained I would like to cancel my extra care membership since CVS no longer wants my business, this time the rep told me that was not necessary and decided to transfer me back to the same manager who then hung up on me again when I asked for my membership to be canceled..... I needed this test done same day so I drove to a CVS down the road and they told me that even though they were full they were more than capable of taking as many test as they could!!!! I've been going to this particular pharmacy for my medication for over a year. Same store, same prescription. It's an injectable and, for some reason, my doctor prescribed me a vial instead of a prefilled syringe. So, for the past year, I've been getting a syringe with each refill, no issues at all. Then, when I went to pick up my refill and asked for a syringe, I was told that I needed a prescription for the syringe. Obviously, I was surprised, as this hadn't even smelled like a problem in the past. (I haven't been able to find out what the deal is, but that's not my gripe with this pharmacy!) The pharmacist told me that she would call my doctor the following morning, get the okay from him, then call me to come pick up the syringe. This was a Thursday evening. Having heard nothing by the following Tuesday afternoon, I called the pharmacy and was informed that the pharmacist had never bothered to call my doctor and that it would be faster if I called him myself. UGH. As with the vast majority of medications, mine needs to be taken on a schedule. This woman apparently has no regard for that schedule or her customers' health. I could care less that I need to have a syringe prescription, but I damn sure expect that, when someone tells me they will call me with a solution, they actually call me back. Other than this one woman, the store is lovely. They're not busy, so prescriptions are ready promptly and dispensed quickly. I'll keep getting my medication here, but I won't be trusting them with anything other than that. read more

Aware of the pharmacy hours being up until 9 p.m, I pulled into the pharmacy drive-through at 8:54. A pick-up truck cut in front of the drive-through and upon looking at the man, I noticed he was quite a bit older than I was and probably needed his medication more than I did. Once he was finished, it was 9:02 p.m...I pulled up and the pharmacist began drawing their blinds and putting up their pathetic cardboard renderings for the cardboard. They didn't even speak to me. The pharmacy manager looked at the pharmacist and began chuckling as if my health needs were a joke. It is without a doubt that this staff cares nothing about their patients, simply at what time they get to go home. They couldn't spare 2 minutes to take on one more customer who actually let someone else go in front of them because they may have needed it more. What if I had epilepsy and my seizure medication was needed? My company (a WELL known customer service company in the valley) brings a lot of business to CVS through our insurance plan. I will be sure to raise this with them and let them know the lack of care and support they give their patients. You will not get one more dime out of me or my insurance, you pathetic jokes of the health care industry. I'm not worried, karma and Walgreens will undoubtedly save the day.
