After our last experience getting a flu shot here, the Mrs & I were hesitant to get another. But flu season is around the corner & we wanted to get it done quickly. So we made our appointments on-line & went in. I must say I'm glad we did. The store on Green Valley has a nurse on site to give the shots. Friendly, professional & efficient she was great. Honestly, it was a random drive. My three kids ages 13, 3, & 6 are obsessed with pokémon cards. Anyways we kind of gave up on looking around at the pokémon machines and target and we forgot that we seen online they had some at this location. We let their dad go in first to go check and then he said how nice everyone is and got some for about $13. decided to go in with the kids and this african american lady wearing black and blue uniform with braids was saying it was $16 . What bothered me was that she followed me and my kids all the way to the back where the other ones were and stood right next to me the whole time. She rushed me and asked me which cards i wanted and asked how i wanted to pay. She brought me all the way to another register one the side that was closed when there was a perfectly one open at the front where the other elder ladies just helped their dad with his transaction. i thought that was weird and the lady kept looking at me up and down and was fidgeting the cards i wanted to purchase and stood there for a few moments so i asked her how much it is and she hesitated and said idk why it's $13 it's supposed to be $16. Fast forward she told me after i asked my son if he wanted any more and she told me it's the same design it's not worth it and just gave me the receipt. read more

This is a decent Walgreens. It's walking distance to my house, and I usually come here for either prescription pickups or photo prints. They also carry a random brand of milk I like, so that's nice when I don't want to go to a grocery store. And their magazine aisle is still nicely stocked (a rarity since so many stores are getting rid of magazines) The drug line is usually managed well. I've had to wait before but it's never too bad. On weekends they DO go out for a lunch break, so be sure to check the schedule so you're not left waiting around. I have never used the drive-thru, so I can't comment on that. I've also gotten boosters and flu shots here, and it's nice and convenient. I also appreciate the pharmacy volunteering that according to my health insurance I get one free COVID test a week. So a nice opportunity to stock up. I like their photo print section too. I print out photos occasionally for my planner/scrapbook, and it's nice being able to order just one or two prints and it comes out to under $1. Cheaper than ordering online. read more

Went in the other day and picked up a pizza and some other items. The pizza was clearanced due to overstock but it rung up to its full price. I asked them for a price check and they said it was for the pizza next to it and yet the sticker was directly underneath the product I was trying to purchase. The team members told me that didn't matter, what matters is what the sticker says. As someone with poor eyesight when I went back there I still couldnt read the fine print. I dont know when products were allowed to be priced away from the actual product but that is not how an area should be zoned and priced. As somebody with a management background in retail and grocery your team put the labels in the wrong places and didnt want to admit their mistake. When I questioned Clint, the on duty manager, he was dismissive and rude. He did nothing to alleviate the situation. Ive been coming here for 8 years almost every day. I know the cashiers by name and they know mine. Clints seen me and helped me more than I can count. To be treated this way and dismissed the way I was is a joke. Your ATMs been down for months now. People rely on these things and i'm pretty sure Walgreens has the money to get this fixed so why hasn't it been? Somebody needs to step in or step up over there. read more

This review is solely for the attached clinic within Walgreens. I was in need of receiving some vaccinations for school, and since I have yet to find a PCP in the area- I resorted to use one of the many quickie clinics that my insurance is associated with... I called the morning of my appointment to make my appointment which was easy-peasy. The scheduler on the phone was cool, and made sure I felt comfortable in booking my new patient appointment. Everything she said on the phone, as far as the expectation really happened during the appointment. Once at Walgreens, you will find this one room clinic in the right rear of the store, directly attached to the pharmacy. There are iPad kiosks where you check in and then bam, you're called back. Carol was my NP for my appointment. She was SUPER knowledge and was straight to the point. She also made me feel comfortable, as this was my first time using this type of clinic. My physical/vaccines appointment was just about 20 mins. The exam room is pretty average in size compared to other office I've seen. I would totally recommend this place if you're in a hurry for some vaccines and/or a physical. read more

Needed to run several errands and this Walgreens is pretty reliable. The beauty section has had an upgrade so there is a seat where you can actually try on products with decent lighting. Not bad for a drugstore. They sectioned the products much better now and included the growing brand NYX on its own display area. The store is clean and organized too. This location has a clinic inside in and several people were waiting to be seen for general ailments like an ear infection or cold. The pharmacy is good too. The technicians have been helpful and I haven't had any issues they couldn't resolve or explain to me about. The several pharmacists I have interacted with have been professional and friendly as well. I also like the fact that this location has some medical equipments like crutches or canes, but these you pay for yourself. If your doctor have you a prescription for a crutch and you want your insurance to pay for it you would have to go to a medical supply store. Either way, unless you don't want to go to the medical supply store, this Walgreens could handle your prescription needs, general merchandise needs and get you on your way. read more

The ratings posted here tells you everything you need to know. The store itself is OK, even though some of the cashiers do not seem customer service friendly. Now, the pharmacy here is a whole different story - all the staff at the pharmacy are very rude and condescending. Even the manager is rude. The Walgreens corporation really needs to take a good look at this because this particular pharmacy has gotten so many bad reviews. I'm new to the area and thought having my prescriptions transferred here would be a good idea but that was a big mistake. I have since transferred to CVS. read more

Every Walgreens, no matter the location, has turned into the most IMPOSSIBLE place to get prescriptions! I thought monopolies were illegal. They have pushed out every other drugstore in the area and we are forced to deal with their absolutely terrible service everywhere. Every state, every location, is the same. They never have the meds. They can't even tell you when they will have them. How is this even able to be a pharmacy behaving this way. People's lives are in their incompetent hands! Annd they don't tell you that you can buy your Perscription for less using Good Rx or coupons, it's criminal. Every other pharmacy will say, "hey did you know you can get this for less" Not Walgreens! They will charge an old person $300 and not tell them the coupon could have saved them hundreds of dollars. Their thieves and shyster's acting like a business. If I was able to go aaanywhere else I would. Such a shame what they are doing to their customers. The pharmacy on Warms Springs and Arroyo Grande Blvd has been my pharmacy. For 2 years I have had the same 2 medications. My DR always sets up 90 day supply with 3 refills. This is the THIRD time that the "refill" was only for 30 days... NOT 90... so now I have to go back and get my DR. involved. And worse... the lady at the counter mispronounced my last name... and when I corrected her with the correct pronunciation her reply was "whatever". I'm done with not completing my refills correctly and I am REALLY done with the arrogant attitude of your workers! read more

The short and the long of it is that in the end this is just a Walgreens. The drive-through is pretty slow, often times I have to recall my doctor to Reese and a prescription that they've already sent, but in the end it's just super convenient and a Walgreens so you know i they're reputable. I normally use the drive-through but if you go inside I'm very impressed with the variety of things they have reasonable prices. You can pick up your ice cream, toilet paper and Xanax prescription all in one stop. And really can't beat that read more

Almost your typical Walgreens but it has a decent size Hawaiian food section. They also have a section in the freezer for Hawaiian food. I also like the cost of the candy for the movies. 3 boxes for $3. I think that's a good deal. I also like to do during the holidays. They always have fun, interesting stuff on the shelves especially during Christmas. The workers have always been friendly during check out. There are 2 red box stations out front. That is a big plus. So that makes this place a good choice to go to rent a movie and get snacks and be on your way. read more

I came in to return a item that I bought online from other walgreens store, I have receipt and everything and the old lady didn't let me return it she said the receipt is not working or whatsoever, didn't even bother to give me other option so they can process it!! Being followed by employees? I don't recall ever being followed in a store. Maybe once when I was in junior high. Soon as I walked in I felt eyes on me. I think there was only one other customer in the store and the employees somehow found a reason to walk over to the aisle that I was in. Two female employees. The employee at the front register actually left her register and found her way over to me. She had no business in the aisle at all. Just came over and was pretending like she was doing something lol. I rarely pull the race card and I've never done a review of this nature, but I came on yelp to see if anyone else had been followed and sure enough I see another review by someone who said they were followed and that they're racist at this location. Wandered into this Walgreens seeking water, since I forgot my bottle at home. The store was pretty typical of most Walgreens that I have been too. The case that sell water and other beverages was not as full as usual is, so it's makes selecting your beverage so much harder because Walgreens gives so many wonderful different kinds. The cashier at the front apologized for not having more stock out, but it was still morning time. This is not a gripe by all means. The cashier was even sincere suggesting that if there was something that I was looking for she would see if they had it in back. I gladly declined, but it is the thought that counts. read more

The fat girl in the white coat told me the pharmacist was not in and would not be in until Monday. I was inquiring about my pain meds prescription, as I am a cancer patient and require them. However, she was rude, and would not even let me finish a question. I'm curious, Walgreens, since I thought a pharmacist was supposed to be in house all the time. Also, I called the store after I left and asked to speak to the pharmacist and was put in touch. She was also short, and rude off the bat. I have had two recent trip in where I have dealt with the photo department and had unprofessional, unfriendly service by a guy named Rick. Disappointed. I use Walgreens for Red box pickups, drinks, medicine and usually prescriptions. Unfortunately, they changed some procedures in the pharmacy where it is difficult/nearly impossible to get prescriptions faxed or phoned in. Who uses fax anymore anyway? I am going to try a different location next time and hope it may just be this location not all of Walgreens I also sync my exercises with balance rewards for points which gives coupons for being active. I think this is an awesome idea. I also like how it is easy to use digital coupons on the app and it is automatically synced with your phone. They did this even before Smiths did so Smiths seemed to be following Walgreens steps in this. It seems they need to update their pharmacy software to be more consistent with the app/software used in store. Please do or you will lose me as a customer. read more

I have never ever left a review in my life but these were the most Racist employees I have ever experienced and I have never been so angered with customer experience. . they were staring us down as soon as we walked in. We just walked in and we were looking at the chapstick and she was staring at us while she was helping other customers. We looked and they called other employees to come "check on us " . They approached us and asked if we needed help and they just stood there staring at us. They followed us around and we couldn't even get what we wanted. I just got yelled at by the pharmacist for them POSSIBLY being out of my medication, yet when my dr sent it in they made sure they did have it. This is the closest store to my place and has everything I could possibly need in a pinch. I do choose CVS over Walgreens because CVS does not sell cigarettes and I hate cigarettes as I have a lung injury not from smoking but I just think we should take the utmost care of our sweet lungs - anyways I like this store it's clean, has a drive through pharmacy and even one of those little nurse stations where you can get a flu shot if you need one. Unfortunate experience with Pharmacist who is not a problem solver, rather a righteous reactor, who doesn't have the ability to listen. Rather than do what's prudent at a late hour, given a life threatening possibility, she stubbornly couldn't dispense a few pills as a stopgap measure and hold remainder until morning. So much more could have been done. Walgreen's does not have a professional here! (Asian on duty 4/25/2019 at 9 pm). Exacerbated a stressful situation! read more

Went to get my COVID bivalent shot. Had made an appointment. I'm 82 and recently fractured my ankle malleolus in three parts. The young woman who assisted? me was so blatantly rude and unkind that I ended up walking out without the vaccine and was so emotional that I cried for 10 minutes when I got to my car. It's so easy to be kind to others, especially when the situation is not an optimal one. Young lady, I think you would have a much better quality of life if you tried doing so. read more

For whatever reason. Today the cashier grey shirt stopped taking customers and money to call in a shoplifter. I understand the importance of reporting theft. I don't understand how it was handled. Your going to make paying customers wait and yell for another cashier so you can call in a theft. Did she think the police where going to drop what they where doing and start a high speed chase? Ordered some pictures to be picked up, I was missing 9 of the pictures I ordered, half of the photos hand corners bent and other areas on the pictures looked bent as if someone tried to shove them in the envelope without any care whatsoever. 2 of my pictures also didn't even get printed all the way, half the picture was there and the other half was ink smudges and ink lines. read more

I don't know why this place has such bad ratings, the ladies in the pharmacy were extremely helpful in helping me after surgery, one of their stock boys was generous enough to help me shop for soft foods I could eat, and even helped me to my car without asking. This review is for the Take Care Clinic more than the store itself. a. The waiting line - 2 star - I really like the computerized check in system they have here. You can go on line or check in on their computer. It is totally cool, except that it takes a long time to check in. I am not sure if it saved my data from last time, I had to enter everything again. This thing is nice but very inefficient. b. The Nurse Practitioner. 5 star - I thought this person was really good and explained everything. Helpful, caring and efficient. c. Services offered - Saves you from having to pay high fees and long wait times at the other urgent care places. I think this is great. d. Privacy - Limited. As they start talking to you in the main reception area, everyone waiting in this small modest area can hear you. They end up taking you inside the room for more details, but the privacy is a bit sketchy in my book. e. Charges - We are under 60 but got the shingle vaccine. Cost is over 200.00 per person. This is standard as insurances will cover you after 60, but before it is on you. I accept this but the system they have and how you check in does not let you know this in detail. And, what is worse, the clinics billing is poor. I paid all my fees on Amex and still getting a bill to pay the fees from their central billing department. This bill is poorly done, not too much information and on the back there is no data on what to do if you dispute or anything like terms or conditions. I will come back again, as it is cheaper than urgent care, but this place is not too inviting as the experience is kind of blah. read more

Every time I try to fill My prescriptions, they send me texts saying that they need more time, then they lose prescriptions, never fill them on time and it's just exhausting dealing with them.
