They take care of me and I am a pain I realize. They help me keep things straight and it's usually fast.

I don't expect a whole lot from Walmart so I'm usually not dissatisfied. Sometimes I'm even pleasantly surprised. Today I was surprised, no, more accurately, shocked. Appalled. Disgusted. After a lot of tea at lunch, my first stop was the restroom. I didn't have a minute to spare. I walked (really, jogged) into a horrifying scene. I have never seen anything so filthy. I cannot believe a person could or even would make such a mess. I won't go into details, just use your imagination and multiple by 6 I noticed a sign that said "if you're not happy with our restroom, we aren't happy either". I went directly to the service desk. As soon as I said bathroom, the employee interrupted me and said that maintenance wouldn't be in until 4. Four o'clock? It was only 2:30. My report most definitely wasn't the first. How does such a large store function with such curtailed maintenance? They should have at least closed the restroom - it was a biohazard? I don't hold Walmart very high on the ladder. This time the ladder broke. And as far as the mess, the person who left this obviously did it on purpose. Shame on you.

Today's review is from the perspective of pharmacy services. I was here for immunizations that I…read moreneed to stay working. The appointment process is fantastic--all online and simple. Arriving ten minutes before my appointment there was a loooong line at the pharmacy. The special garage door for COVID Vaccines was closed with signage indicating ask at the pharmacy desk for FREE take home tests. No thanks. I waited in the line behind six others who were there for a variety of things, most picking up prescriptions. Fifteen minutes later I made it to the front. There was a bit of confusion as to whether I needed additional paperwork (I competed it in the app). I was sent to have a seat and wait. Seven seats and they were all taken, so I stood. I have no problem with standing--I'm merely pointing out that they were oversubscribed. I was called back up and given...paperwork. Why would I spend time in the online system to "expedite" my visit..,only ti do it manually at the pharmacy? Furthermore, why would I fill out the same Vaccine Administration Record questionnaire for each shot? Then there was an employee shift change. Evidentially the app allowed me and some others to schedule at this awkward time. I waited for a full hour after my appointment. Each time there was an immunization the person administering it would lock up and disappear for a cigg break or something for 10 minutes. Must be unionized. I would have left, but they had my immunization record and I don't feel like recreating that. This place stinks to get in and out of, and frankly I avoid it because of that. I wouldn't be here tonight if they had not offered me an appointment. Bottom line--save yourself the frustration and an evening. Go to Walmart for your vaccines. Most certainly avoid this Walgreens.

Talk about customer service, the technician was having some problems getting my migraine medication to transfer, as soon as the pharmacist was free, she called him over and told me what was the issue. The pharmacist assured me, he already sent the paperwork to my neurologist and didn't have to worry about transferring my meds, just send the request and they would have it ready for me. What's behind door #1? Nothing because the person that gives shots is on break 75% of the time.

Why have this if you aren't going to use it and expose folks desiring this service to the general non-appointment line?

Infuriating! An unqualified circus! I've been in a circle trying to get my prescription filled!…read moreSpent 30 minutes on the phone with Lyndsay, I was told my prescription was in stock and would receive a text message letting me know when to pick it up. 30 minutes later Eliza calls to tell me I need to start my prescription over at the starting dose? Umm.. my DR called this prescription in. Why don't you finish medical school and complete your residency first before buying a white coat and pretend to be a DR! A pharmacist is the equivalent of a flight attendant -A glorified waitress with a 4 year degree You serve the people! Did I call to make an appointment with you for my prescription renewal? No silly, I called my DR! That's his job, not yours! Stay in your lane -Liberal nutcase!

I want to just start by saying, I have never had a pharmacist make me feel the way Elisa did…read moretonight. It's not my fault that she (or her bosses) aren't up to date on the DEA mandates, and didn't know you can have controlled substances called in. After an hour on the phone, she verified what we told her. However, she still wouldn't fill it. During the Covid-19 pandemic, PCP have started seeing patients via video chat. And so the DEA has lifted their limitations on certain meds, retiring a hard copy of the scrip, and allowing doctors to call in the script. Then the doctor will mail in the script to the pharmacy. I heard her on the phone tell her manager, I know it's weird that she lives in Huntsville, but sees a doctor in muscle shoals. Like I'm some kinda drug seeker, going from doc to doc to get prescriptions. We recently changed from Walgreens on Jordan lane, because the customer service was awful, sadly this Walmart hasn't been much better. So she told me that now isn't a good time to switch pharmacies, we switched about 3 weeks ago, before everything went in lockdown. And she had the nerve to tell me that maybe we should switch back to Walgreens! You're going to get your wish next month, Elisa! So she called Walgreens and verified I get this script filled every month, then she questioned why the address on file at Walgreens was in Tuscumbia(I updated it to Huntsville, when we changed to Walmart). I told her this is my home of record, and parents address, and I lived with them when I got medically retired form the Air Force. She questioned me as to why I need these meds, so I had to give her my history about getting injured in the Air Force. So needless to say, we will be in search of a new pharmacy! She wasn't overly rude, it was just the accusations she kept making that upset me. I also don't appreciate that she or her managers, don't know these rules. This isn't a recent change, it's been at least a week since we were told about this. So if the doctors know about it, why don't the pharmacy? Her excuse for not knowing, was because she hadn't had anyone come in with this yet. So I guess only then, they update their procedures.
