I stopped to refill on gas and even out one of my tires. The air machine was not working. I even asked an older gentleman to help and he confirmed it was actually taking the air out. I was a whole 12 down from my other tires... with the next gas stop being miles away I went inside to ask the cashier for help, which she replied "oh yeah it's not working". I asked why is there not a sign, "Loves doesn't let us put one" ??? She then suggested to call roadside after not refunding the money for air... so a $2 machine would be now causing me to lose another $50-80? I asked if the truck shop could help and eventually Odie and Marcus came out. The issue was resolved in seconds and the gentlemen were so kind. Thanked them and wished happy holidays. A former employee had been giving him a discount at our store (not legit,) so that he could get a discount on cigarettes. When I told the man I could not give him this discount he got hateful and said I always give your employees deals. Um, no, I always pay regular price. He said, "I charge you more when you come in, now." I told him not to worry about it, I won't be back and I haven't. The fact that this station has changed affiliations several times in the 5 years I've worked near it, makes me nervous to buy their gas. This place is shady.
