    Zero customer service. Refused to fill my medication saying it was on backorder when clearly many other CVS has it. They didn't even try.

Many other pharmacies in Walgreens, CVS, Target, Walmart, etc. all close at around 5 PM and some aren't even open on the weekend (Sunday), but this one was. Not sure if this is just a change in CVS that I haven't paid attention to, or if it was always like that. There's self check out and the staff working was super friendly and helpful. Shout out to the cashier girl who talked Calico Critters with me, you a real one. Stock is fairly decent for seasonal items and it didn't look super disorganized. Lots of World Cup merchandise randomly and it's always so funny that the souvenirs for Irvine are ocean and beach themed when you're not even THAT close to the water but I guess it works in a pinch for those unfamiliar with California geography. Plenty of parking since it's in a super big plaza and the time where we went wasn't that busy (as many things have already closed).

    Prescription was submitted Tuesday 4/14, finally received a text informing me it was filled Tuesday…read more4/21 and ready for pick it up, I go in and am told it was $400, said I'd be back to pick it up. Call in with a manufacturers discount coupon I was given, told it doesn't work. I call doctor and manufacture, told coupon is valid and instructions to ensure it goes through. Received another "ready for pick up" text Thursday 4/23, go in to pick it up on 4/24, spend an hour troubleshooting the coupon, told it still doesn't work. I tell them "I'll be back with my HSA card to pick up on Sunday" - return Sunday 4/26, told "medication is on hold"...sent to consultation window, told "the coupon does work" and the total is now $500...and it's not filled, in fact, it was never filled... I explain everything, they say "I don't know who worked with you, but the coupon works, but the item was never filled" - provide text showing it was filled, proceed to identify by name the 2 people who helped me troubleshoot on Friday, one of those identified claims "I never helped you"...after some pushback says "you declined the medication"...and the kicker, "the item is out of stock"... tl;dr First, they said it was $400, then they said coupon didn't work, then said they never helped me, then they say it was never filled. Then I prove it was filled, now they say they DID help me, but claim I declined it. Suddenly now the coupon works, it's $500, but it's out of stock? This place is a joke. Other things to note: The nearby hospitals send everyone here because it's 24 hours, so there's almost always a line. There are a few kind and patient staff members, but otherwise the rest are unhelpful and some will lie straight to your face.

With a long drive ahead early the next morning and a one-year-old traveling with us, this immediately became a stressful situation. In South Orange County, most tire service locations close early. After being turned away by Costco, I made my way to Walmart, one of the only places still open. Although I did not have an appointment, I explained the urgency of my situation and how important it was for my family to be on the road by 6:00 AM the next morning. That's when I met Ruben. Around 7:00 PM, Ruben took the time to help me, patching my tire and ensuring my vehicle was safe for the trip. He went above and beyond what I would expect from any employee. He showed genuine care, urgency, and professionalism not because he had to, but because he wanted to help. I even offered him a gratuity, which he kindly declined. He simply helped because I was a father trying to take his family on an important trip. Because of Ruben, my family was able to make that drive safely and enjoy a truly special weekend celebrating my daughter's first birthday. It meant everything to us. Ruben is an outstanding individual and a true example of what great customer service looks like. Experiences like this are rare, and they are exactly why we continue to shop at Walmart.     My experience with this CVS Pharmacy has been consistently frustrating when it comes to managing…read moreprescribed pain medication after surgery. This is the second time my husband has gone into a weekend without needed medication because of delays and communication issues at the pharmacy. In both instances, the prescription was not ordered or filled in a timely manner, requiring multiple calls between the pharmacy and the physician's office. By the time the issue was addressed, the medication was out of stock and unavailable until Monday, leaving a post-surgical patient to manage increased pain unnecessarily. Most recently, after waiting more than 30 minutes for a refill, the pharmacist asked whether my husband was feeling better. When he explained that he had recently started physical therapy and his pain had actually increased, she responded that she was "hoping have him decrease his medication use". Decisions regarding pain management and medication tapering should be made by the treating physician based on the patient's condition, not suggested during a pharmacy transaction. I fully support responsible prescribing and medication monitoring. However, patients recovering from significant injuries and surgery should not have to repeatedly navigate delays, stock issues, and commentary about treatment plans that have already been established by their physician. The lack of coordination and consistency has resulted in unnecessary stress and avoidable pain.

    **Update to my review** Monday morning. I spoke with Grace,…read moreonce again, the nicest person ever. To make a long story short. This issue was in NO WAY CAUSED by LINK PHARMACY. Apparently a rouge delivery driver was responsible and delt with. They truly did believe what they were telling me last week. I feel that Link very much cared about my situation and followed up with 30 minuets with the reason why and told me that my prescription was now waiting in my mailbox!! THANK YOU LINK PHARMACY!!! Employees have all been very kind. HOWEVER, I just had my prescription transferred here due to a shortage at other pharmacies. Link Pharmacy called me last Wednesday and confirmed that my prescription would be delivered on Thursday. No delivery on Thursday. Friday morning I called Link Pharmacy. Once again, I was told my prescription is out for delivery. I told them that I am due for a dose this morning and do not have anymore. I need my prescription. She said if it doesn't arrive by 5 o'clock call them back. It's Friday they close at 6 PM. 5 PM comes I call. Link Pharmacy assures me, promises me that my prescription is out for delivery. Well, they closed at 6 PM yesterday. It is 11:30 AM on Saturday. No prescription. How thrilled is my husband to spend the entire weekend with me when I haven't had my estrogen for three days??!! I i'll try to be as nice as I possibly can when I call Link Pharmacy Monday morning.

Cathy's compassionate care was both efficient and reassuring. Within 24 hrs a prescription that was unavailable at my 2 usual pharmacies was delivered safely to my home. Moving forward I will bring every prescription here.
