This CVS cosmetics are poorly restocked. The pharmacist is incredibly unprofessional as well. He asked me why I was prescribed some things and I told him because the doctor needed me to take them. He pushed on saying that he has been a pharmacist a very long time and has never seen a doctor order these prescriptions with those dosages so he would like to know why. I told him he didn't need to know why and just give me my medication. He also said that he noticed that I'm allergic to sulfa drugs (antibiotics) and said ibuprofen was a sulfa drug. That is not accurate. However, I would like to mention that there is a very nice tech in the pharmacy. She is always very kind to my son and me. read more

I came to buy lubricant eye drops and I got the a good deal here compared to others stores. I have tried finding the one I had gotten from the doctor and found it here. I am a bit surprised the app needs a bit of work because if I look up the barcode it shows not found however if I type the name of the brand it shows it has it. I'd give the pharmacy 0 stars if I could. I have had many issues with being discriminated against. I've had 2 of my doctors have to call multiple times because the pharmacist feels she needs to make the client feel they need to explain medical diagnosis to her when this is NOT her job. I've had to discuss my personal medical issues with a pharmacist who made me feel embarrassed and ashamed. This is an ongoing issue at this pharmacy. The same RX was filled in a different CVS before I moved to lake forest this is very unprofessional and nobody likes to have someone judge them or shame them about medical issues. read more

We've only been here about 3 times in the past 3 years or so. And only to pick up a prescription. The service is not the best, but it wasn't horrible either. The staff seem like they really don't want to be there. I get that it could get stressful and busy, but this is a customer service position. A "hello" or "hi, how are you today" could go a long way. Just saying! I tried picking up a prescription on Friday, I got a notification saying that it was ready. I went to pick it up an hour later. The lady looks at me like I'm wrong, if I was lying about the notification. So weird lol. After she looked for it for about 10 minutes. She finally finds it.... Guess where? Another day, another bad experience with CVS. A medication with several active refills suddenly disappeared from my online account, so I called this store to see why and ask for a refill. They couldn't help me with seeing the prescription on my account but assured me they could see it on their end and that they actually had a refill ready for me to pick up in the store. Running errands can be difficult when you have a disability, but I made it to the store on my lunch break where I waited 10 minutes in line just to be told I don't have anything available for pick up and if I had questions, I could wait in another line to speak to someone else. I waited in the other line for an additional 15 minutes where it was confirmed that I didn't have anything ready for pickup like they told me on the phone, but they could refill my prescription, I'd just have to come back in an hour to get it. Now my lunch break is over, the failed trip has left me exhausted with half a day of work left, and who knows when I'll actually be able to get a refill. When CVS Pharmacy employees lie to disabled patrons, it makes those patrons lives' a hell of a lot harder than need be... and they couldn't care less because they keep doing it. read more

Busiest pharmacy and so slow. The staff is rude. They cut you off before you even have finished asking a question, and tell you we just filled it even though it's a different prescription. They make you feel like an addict, or sound super shocked that you are prescribed that medication and speak to you like they are doctors writing the prescription. Once they realize they are wrong, they tell you to call back 8hrs later. You have your doctor send in a prescription early because they are always out, and they won't order it until it is due so you have to wait. The main store is always understaffed. If you can get it at Ralph's next door, do that, it's probably cheaper and no 20 minute wait time. read more

This has got to be the most disorganized and impersonal Pharmacy that I have used. I recently switched my prescriptions there due to a change in my part D medical plan. After filling the first order in January with a prescription that says three more refills by January 2026, using their automatic system, I was told no more refills and they had to call the doctor. When I spoke to the pharmacist, who was obviously in a rush and more interested in getting me off the phone than anything else, she had no explanation for the fact that my prescription was no longer on their system and that she would call my doctor to get it redone. Walmart Pharmacy in foothill Ranch was exceptional in comparison to this subpar Pharmacy. After I pick up this order I will be switching to another Pharmacy in Lake Forest. read more

This pharmacy use to have a staff i loved because it was quick and they would always try to find the lowest price for you. My last visit i needed to pickup a med but they closed at 6 and was 550. Called and said was 5 min away gave my name and paid med was picking up- they said fine. When I got there doors were closed and blinds locked down. I said thanks alot! I don't have a vehicle you wasted my time and energy. Plus it always seems a problem to get a shot now and the price always changes too! There's still a few who care but they also take forever processing and just say " call doctor" we didn't recieve. Yeah ok I had my appt with her at 10am watched her send and then at 3 said she sent late. Also the famous " we don't have in stock don't know when will be in" so basically try to find on your own!!! read more

Today Sunday , I'm outside of the CVS Farmacy Lake Forest Ca, The store closed at 6:00 pm I got to the window 3 minutes before 6:00 pm to pick up my prescription. and they were already closed, and I talked to a young man and a lady who was talking to me behind the window and I asked them if I could picked up my medication at another pharmacy and they sent me to Mission Viejo instead of just giving me my medication. So they need to change the closing time on the website, they closed a few minutes before the time that is on the website, I can't believe she was still inside and I arrived a few minutes before 6:00 and the window was already closed and that's why I have to back again tomorrow, and skip my medication. it doesn't seem fair to me. read more

Pharmacist (Merana?) who answered the phone told me she "doesn't do technical stuff" when my RXs were not linked to my CVS account correctly. I had to call the CVS corp support number to get the issue resolved. Additionally, she randomly decide to not fill one of my RXs because I could buy it OTC - no call, no anything - she just didn't fill it. Then she argued with me when I said I wanted it filled. They cut you off and won't let you speak. It's the worst service I have ever experienced. CVS support called them directly and the pharmacy immediately fixed the account issue. However, she told them the cost of the one RX was over $50 because I didn't buy it OTC. In reality, they refused to run the discount card - I just ran it myself and the RX she charged me more than $50 for should have been $14.28. it is my opinion that this was done to be vindictive because I insisted she fill the RX. Last, they told corp support the delivery had been setup. I waited 20 minutes and checked my account. The delivery was NOT setup so I did it myself. This was an awful experience. If you use this location, do yourself a favor and be prepared to call CVS support. Update: To add to the fun, the pharmacy didn't send all my RXs with the delivery. I spent 20 minutes getting the driver to understand I paid for them all and now he has to go back to the store. The pharmacy manager would not listen and eventually admitted they lost the RX. His solution - just send another and send it with one of techs (and some random guy - HIPPA violation anyone?) after work to my house. When asked what they would do about losing the RX, assuming losing RX meds is not okay, the answer was nothing. Since they can't find it at the pharmacy my best guess is they sent the wrong medication to someone else. Last this morning, I looked at my account because some of the ones I received didn't seem to have the correct 90 day supplies. My insurance copays are significantly lower with 90 day supplies so that is what the DR sends. It turns out that they randomly filled two of them as 30 days supplies with 2 or 5 refills left on each. (One was prescribed for 3 months and one for 6 months.) One should have 1 refill and one should have 0 refills left. With all the mistakes and incompetence at this pharmacy I spent $135 and that is not even for the 90 RXs that I normally get. For comparison, last year I spent a total of maybe $200 for the entire year on prescriptions. I will be filing a formal complaint with the CA State Pharmacy Board and with CVS Corporate. read more

My wife and I got the same prescription. She filled hers at Ralph's and they mistakenly sent mine to CVS. She paid $10 with our insurance. I paid $40. $10 is our actual co pay for this medication. Waited for 20 minutes in line, while 4 people were chatting behind the counter, not doing anything, and one asian young woman was at the window for picking up prescriptions. There were about 7 people in line, when they announced they were closing for lunch. What?!? Guess this is a new thing, and the "solution" they found to the long lines getting even longer. I am assuming all 10 people working for this pharmacy need to have lunch at the same time, and close the whole thing for half an hour, while customers are waiting. I was next in line and this young woman decided to serve one more person. She mumbled something I couldn't hear, then she had me repeat my name three times, spell it for as many times, my birthdate for also three times, and then she found a completely different name on the computer. So we started again. No apologies, no courtesy, just a robot who was not capable of interacting with customers and communicate in a minimal way to do the job. read more

If I could I would give this store a ZERO. I waited for 10 minutes for someone to come and open the eye case to get out eye gel cream. Finally, I go up to the front of the store and everyone is standing behind the counter and just chitchatting amongst themselves. I told him that they no longer needed to answer the call to come and bring the key to the eyeglass case because I had to leave at that point. literally there was nothing said and they just went on about their storytelling. I was told that I'd have to wait over an hour for them to check their voicemails from the start of the day. I mean they don't answer phones for over 6 hours and refuse to check the voicemail. That is after waiting 30 minutes to be helped. They bounced me line to line only to have me wait to find out they will not be checking the voicemail for over an hour and had not done so all day. Seems like a lack of care from this team. I go to another cvs they pull me up transfer my script and I'm out within 20 minutes. Night and day experience. This location is now horrible!!!. Been coming here on Lake Forest/Serrano/Trabuco for almost 30 years. They recently closed the location on Muirlands across town, and now this location has taken the brunt of the business. (This is their apology for bad service and mess of a store. ) Tried 3 times to pick up a prescription for my pet today. Each time I went there were 15 plus in line waiting. Waited 50 minutes first time and left. 2nd trip same looong line. I left again. Went a 3rd time at 7 pm and same loooong line. I stayed and waited. Took 45 minutes. That's not the worst part.... This store is absolutely filthy. Things on the floor, dirty stained carpet with trash everywhere. Shelves are empty and products are just thrown in the floor. What in the heck happened to this once clean and friendly store? It's disgusting... So sad!! Will have to go out of my way to another pharmacy because I can't imagine purchasing any medical supplies or prescriptions in this pig pen. So sad.... God damn, do the pharmacists at the Lake Forest CVS location have no sense of customer service. I completely understand that it's busy and the job must be stressful, so I have enough empathy to acknowledge that. Perhaps customer service isn't in their job description, but that still doesn't give ANYONE the right to treat people as if they're a nuisance, and to talk to them in such a condescending manner. Every single person I have interacted with (except for Jelena), whether it be on the phone or in person, speak to you in such a rude manner, like you're a burden to them or something, and treat you with absolutely no respect. If I have a question, because I'm genuinely confused, why make me feel stupid? It's like I'm in school or something. Nah, I'm trying to just pick up my prescription. If I call because I have a question, don't treat me like a fly that's bothering you while you're trying to study. I try to be forgiving and patient, like perhaps they were having a bad day, or it's particularly busy at the moment I call. But for me to experience this type of hostility every.single.time. is absolutely embarrassing on their end. I deal with talking to all types of people at work, and no matter what's going on in my personal life or how busy we are, I ALWAYS talk to them with respect and try to speak to them in a professional manner, because I am working. What are y'all doing? I usually get my medication delivered so that I can avoid having to go in person, because it's more convenient. But I needed to call in because I had a question on how to go about refilling a prescription from a physical doctor's note, and the girl on the phone talked to me as if I was interrupting her from her work. Miss girl, answering the legitimate questions of people who call is also a part of your work. I don't mean to be rude, but it's like she had the people skills of a robot, but even then I feel that that's rude towards robots. Again, I have respect for them doing their job, because I need my medicine and they're the ones filling it. Nevertheless, please please please, just treat people with respect. Ive been coming here for the 21 years I've lived here and the service is always unpredictable. Today, I ask a question about a battery and was blown off. The cashier wasn't friendly at all. In fact she looked annoyed. I like walking though this store for all the fun seasonal stuff they usually have but it bums me out when people aren't friendly. This store has plenty of parking and in a shopping center with a few good eats. There's also a grocery store next door, a hardware store and a bank. Has about all you need in one shopping center. I'm thinking the neighborhood is slipping a bit though - not loving what I'm seeing these days. I wish there was an organized manner in handling shopping carts- park far away or you'll risk your car getting hit. read more

That CVS sucks put them in this situation of slow and bad customer service. So, I would say just put yourself in their shoes and empathize with them. They try the best to help eventually. I came to pick up med for my son. I've been waiting too. I was angry but I could see how they struggled with their tasks. They have a lot of things to do, not just fill scripts. As a customer, I would still vote 5 stars for them in general I went to Stater Brothers, Walmart, Walgreen, Rite Aid before. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They don't have any concept of customer service. They take exceptionally long to fill any medication. Prescriptions are sent in by the doctor to immediately be filled, but this is only done part of the time. You must go over there in person to tell them you had a prescription sent in. They then will explain they already have it and are working on it. They will tell you it will be available in one hour. You can then check online and see that they basically put the bottle in a bag in five minutes. So, you go back to the long line and tell them you are here to pick up your prescription. There is no explanation as to the long waiting times, the lack of communication, and the lack of professionalism from this particular location. If you try calling them, they will put you on hold without listening to a word you have to say. Lake Forest needs to get a better manager at this location to clean up this community mess. read more

Store is run down. The people at the pharmacy department are nice and helpful but they're always so understaffed. I've never not seen them rushing. I've received notifications that my prescription is ready for pickup but when I get there they tell me they have to order it and will take 2-3 days. If you go prepare to wait and/or be told to come back on another day. read more
