I've been a customer here for years! Never have I been treated so poorly. I'm assuming it was the shift on duty because she was barking out orders. I was looking for make up setting spray and some hair products. I had time so I was browsing. She followed me around the entire time I was in the store. I could hear her talking about turning cameras on etc. then while I was checking out she stood there I looked over at her she gave me an AWFUL look and asked me "what do you need".... WOW! The attendant watches me use the self-checkout register using a $4 rewards off coupon that is accepted by the self-checkout register using my phone number but invariably does not give me the $4 discount off my purchase. She says, "you must have scanned the coupon too many times." So l said "so I am not going to get my discount?" She said "no sir." I said, "then you lose the sale" and left the product and coupon on the self-checkout register and walked out. An ounce of customer service and a little creative accounting on her part could have resulted in a 5 star review and a satisfied customer. Instead, CVS lost a customer for life and just gained a world of negative publicity for any one who will listen. read more

Made a mistake to get my prescription here. I got there during their lunch time so I had to wait for 20 mins. It's fine I understand. The lady in the counter has an attitude. I have sore throat and can barely talk. I noticed I was only rung up for four medication instead of five. I asked her why is that she said they don't have it till Monday. Like I don't get why won't you tell me about it before. Why do I have to ask that? What if I didn't notice that? Like these people should assume that customers that come to the pharmacy were sick or enduring something and just forcing their self to be there. So, I don't get why she's giving me an attitude. When I was trying to be pleasant in spite of my raspy voice. I just can't imagine how she will treat other sick elderly. All in all i'm not coming back here. Twice now on different days a month apart they've had a sign that they're sorry but they're closed. Once at 930 to buy a couple items I can only buy at CVS and their online hours say open until 1am. And now this time on Monday night at 950 where their hours say open until midnight. You'd think a big store like CVS would have accurate hours and wouldn't deal with employees who close at their leisure like this. read more

Tried to fill a prescription for my wife today. I have insurance and a doctor's prescription. I was told CVS is out of the meds across the board. When I asked for alternatives, I was told to try Walgreens. I asked if they could call ahead and was told the two businesses are unaffiliated. The male pharmacist was not helpful, and seemed put out at my request. Overall a bad experience and poor customer service at this pharmacy. read more

I read some of the bad reviews left by others, so I felt I needed to leave a review. I have been using this pharmacy since the Ralphs on Los Coyotes closed it's doors. I find them to be over worked and seriously under staffed. The people who left all those negative reviews probably never worked in customer service. I think the pharmacy and everyone who works their tries to do there best and I like them. This is the worst CVS I came to return something and the attendant name. Angel refused to take it back because he asked if it was open and I said look and see if it has been open? He refused to refund the money. I will report him to corporate people like that don't need to work there. I was gonna transfer all my prescriptions here because Aetna told me that if I go to CVS, it's zero Copay in most prescriptions I use and I with Walgreens but because of his behavior, CVS is going to lose in a lot of prescriptions that to transfer. I think the guy should be reprimanded. He was absolutely a jerk. Nobody that behaved like this needs to work there. CVS pharmacy located on Carson in Bellflower on the corner of Carson and Bellflower in the city of Long Beach. CVS pharmacy is a pretty good stop to go see if you go real quick here and visit them so I need stuff here you can get household items make up snacks drinks chips, candy everything's here they have a frozen food section so if you need a quick food, you can also get it here. I have milk, orange juice so if you need household items like that also you can make a beer run here they have beer and wine so if you also want that they have it here a good deals. Also it's great to be a CVS member and that way you get your discounts Pharmacies always going to be. Place has plenty of parking here at CVS right next-door to Citibank so if you need to go to bank and get your banking needs also so check them out in CVS. read more

DO NOT USE THEIR DRIVE THRU (PHARMACY OR OTHERWISE) IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF COVID CONTAMINATION. Terrible terrible unsanitary practices. I've had covid tests in two states and this is the worst one. 1. They made me put my ID in a container (most places simply view your name) and then I had to fetch it out of a box God knows how many people have touched before me. 2. They did not give me any sanitary wipes for myself to touch the drop box after testing (again something every other Cvs does) which once again has likely been touched by people who are covid positive. So whether you test positive or not you're still highly likely exposing yourself to the virus right there. As someone who just fought Covid for two weeks I'm pretty sure the person behind me wouldn't want to touch the same stuff I did had they known. Do better, CVS. read more

I work retail, so I get it, y'all wanna be done for the day, but 10pm isn't 9:50, it's not 9:55, it's not 9:58, it's 10. Your typical neighborhood drugstore. I needed to stop in quickly this morning for Neosporin and waterproof liquid bandage for my son who cut his toe. Stopped in early this morning and the store was practically empty. Cruised right in and found what I needed immediately. Had to wait a couple mins for the one cashier to see that a customer was waiting to check out, but no biggie. CVS, Rite Aid and other drugstores are great for when you need something fast and other stores or pharmacies are closed. The drawback is you will be paying more for these items here. I notice that their drugstore items are usually priced ok, but the incidental items that you pick up while you're here (for convenience) such as millk, toilet paper, eggs, etc. tend to be marked up. But I'm thankful that these places have what I need and are open when I need them. read more

My family has used this Pharmacy for over 15 years. It always felt personal and the staff felt like family. They knew our names, what colleges our kids attended and our health issues. In the last few months they have shuffled our familiar friends out to other stores. It's no longer a pleasant business to enter. No one has a welcoming smile, or pleasant word to share. CVS corporate has decided that there is no time for a staff who welcomes back replete customers with a kind word. It's a cold, business only atmosphere. That's not the way to enjoy a happy staff with a happy clientele. We are now searching for a pleasant alternative. read more

Avonna, in the pharmacy, is a rockstar! I have terrible eye problems and spend a lot of time at the CVS pharmacy. Avonna spend a lot of time WORKING in the pharmacy- LUCKY ME! She is always kind, polite and she's a great problem solver! My dog chewed my little bottle of eye drops (he's perfectly fine) and Avonna helped me with insurance so I could get another bottle. She took the TIME when many other pharmacies don't. Overall, the CVS Pharmacy is incredibly efficient and helpful but Avonna takes the GOLD medal !!! read more

I am well aware that CVS corporate (which is a pathetic joke...CVS executives must be the worst people around) now requires something like 40% of sales to be self checkout, which would be fine if the store ever provided BAGS at self checkout. The employees at this store completely disappear from the area altogether to ensure you're forced to use self checkout, yet not ONCE has there ever been a bag at the self checkout. I had the worst service today from a young lady in the pharmacy department. Along with asking name, date of birth, without a smile or even a friendly look; I gave her the information and she went to get my drugs. I was starting to say oh I have and by the time I finished a question she was already gone her back turned to me and give me no attention. I've been going to this CVS for a long long time but it's their new employees that are going to get me to go to either a different CVS or the Rite Aid. As I was making my way to the cold water fridge, this CVS cashier comes rushing up behind me, reaches over in front of me as I was about to open the door and flings it open to help herself...all while talking and joking loudly with another girl stocking shelfs. I hate that I had to switch from Walgreens to CVS. They are so unorganized, give the wrong I formation and just have no respect 4 people's time period.... You wait in line for 15 minutes at a drive-through because they're Covid testing in the drive-through. They should have a totally separate line for this or outside for this and not have their customers waiting to pick up a prescription for 15 minutes. This is unexceptable. The parking lot of this CVS is absolutely horrible! The amount of speed bumps in the parking lot is enough for me to not want to come here! Make sure you are driving a lifted vehicle, otherwise your bumper is doomed! You either have to enter on Carson St or enter the CVS off of Bellflower. If you enter off of Bellflower, you have to squeeze your vehicle past the line for the drive thru pharmacy pick up where there is no room for an averaged sized vehicle. I absolutely love this pharmacy and the staff that I have dealt with. They recognize me and have called me by name. Aracely is so nice and greets me. The pharmacist is fantastic and has recommended my vaccines and given me my shots. Susan Morales is a great manager and is on top of everything in the pharmacy. DO NOT COME TO THIS PHARMACY. This cvs will HANG UP ON you, deny your filling requests, and make you wait to FIND your prescription- yes, they can't find my prescription . I can't believe I was hung up on when I asked one of the workers to fill my prescription DAYS ago. Today, I go to pick it up, and it's STILL not ready. I was told I have to wait and hour, and to come back later. I left. Then I received a call that they don't even have enough to fill my prescription. Now I am waiting for the chick to FIND my prescription so I can take it somewhere else. What a disaster. Usually they're pretty good but I'm in a lot of pain since my surgery yesterday. Yesterday they said they do not have enough pills to fill my prescription & to come back at noon to pick it up. I returned today at 430pm, during COVID lockdowns & waited 20 minutes in the drive thru line only to be told that they hadn't filled it because, I needed to come back to remind them it was okay to do so??? They then asked me to come inside now that I've reminded them, & during covid, to get my pain medication 24 hours after my surgery. Still in lots of pain by the way. Came inside to wait another 20 mins. They are a pharmacy who are putting people at unnecessary risk & then blaming mistakes on the customers. Because apparently, I needed to come back & remind them that I already gave them my prescription yesterday & maybe it would be cool if they filled it. I'll go to Walgreens on woodruff if I have to go in &/or, if they want reminders to fill prescriptions. Pathetic & extremely rude. Putting that on the customer instead of just saying, "oh, we're so sorry, we just forgot. Please come in & we'll have it ready for you immediately." Nope. It was the opposite. I was supposed to remind them that I had given them my prescription 24 hours earlier & was directly told BY HER that it would be ready by noon the next day. Bad experience. Service, fine, whatever, it happens, but to treat your customers like THEY did something wrong is weak & again, pathetic. Then when I asked another tech inside, the rude tech interrupted impatiently stating that it was being prepared, implying I should shut my mouth. Your customer service is what got you the 1 star. A place which normally does good business treats their customers like garbage when even remotely making a mistake. read more
