If I could leave Zero stars I would. The level of incompetence from the people that run store is incredible. I purchased a gift card for my nephew's birthday and when he went to spend it there were no funds on it and they live out of start. Being that he is 5 years old it made me look like the worst uncle ever. All good, stuff happens. After speaking with all 3 store managers and being run through the ringer, I couldn't get a reasonable solution, not even a call back from the store manager. SAD. I'm now going through CVS corporate to get this worked out, and also suggesting they start train their leadership to better handle these simple issues. CVS left me hanging on this situation and were extremely unhelpful, (managers included). Instead of providing a simple resolution to a simple issue, they decided to run me the ringer. I will not be giving them my business going forward due to the way they handled this issue. read more

After reading online that Zantac as well as the generic brand was being pulled from shelves because of cancer risks, I called CVS. The pharmacist mentioned he hadn't received word that there was an issue with Zantac or the generic brand, even though multiple news sources and CVS themselves has released a comment that the product isn't being sold anymore. Pharmacists should have the most up-to date info on this, especially when a patient is calling. read more

pharmacy customer service is awful. they don't tell you when prescriptions are out of stock, make you make multiple trips to pick up medications, treat you like a second class citizen. not a single person working in this pharmacy cares about their customers needs. they act like they're doing you a favor by acknowledging your presence. use any pharmacy but this one. read more

I was waiting for 10 minutes in the drive-thru, the girl finally comes over and checks on my script. She tells me that it's not done and I tell her that my doc called it in before noon (it was currently 6pm when I was there). She says, "We just got it in. Do you want to wait a couple of minutes and drive back around or wait inside?". Mind you that I am horribly sick that is why I chose the drive-thru. However, I went inside and waited in a ten people deep line. She calls me up and I grab my crap and leave. As I was driving away, I saw the promised time on my prescription 12:46pm!!!! She lied to my face because she skimmed through the pile and didn't find it??? Every single time I go there I wait more than ten minutes! There's at least five people working in the back! read more

If I could give this pharmacy zero stars, I would. I have to use CVS as my insurance requires it if we dont want to pay extra and this one is convenient. In the past few months, the service has declined so badly that I would rather pay extra to go to Walgreens or Target. The staff here are so rude and condescending. They get irritated when they have to answer questions. Once, I was late picking up a prescription and they had put it back on the shelf. When I asked to have it refilled the girl at the counter said "are you actually going to come back for it this time"? Another time I was at the drive through picking up a prescription I had dropped off the day before. It was a pain pill for a knee injury and I needed it badly. After waiting for a few minutes the man can to the window and said "you can't just sit here and wait. You have to come inside" There was no one behind me and walking was very difficult as my knee was hurting. He said "well you can leave until we figure it out or come in but you can't just hang out in my drive through". YOUR drive through? I wasn't aware you owned CVS. Recently I called to ask if they had the compression socks my dr ordered me to wear post surgery. They said no but they would order them for me. I asked her to check if they were available for orde since getting out on crutches isn't easy and she said they were, she just needed the script. When I got there, no one responded to the drive through call button, so I hobbled inside only to be told they couldn't help me and then weren't able to order them. On top of that, prescriptions promised in an hour are rarely filled on time, I've been given the wrong pills on more than one occasion and when my birth control was recalled it took them 3 weeks to call me.... Afte to had taken the entire pack. I investigated and come to find out they "got busy and fell behind on phone calls". Glad I didn't get pregnant..... I do not recommend this CVS to anyone. I am reluctant to try any other since the management doesn't respond to my complaints and I'm done giving money to a company that just doesn't care..... read more

My mother had major knee replacement surgery and we went to CVS to fill the RX. The pharmacist Vicki refused to fill it because she felt the doctor should have prescribed another medication. WTF! My mom is in absolute pain and was crying for three days because everyone is 'out' of the Rx. When the hell did a respected doctors judgement become a question by a pharmacist. NEVER EVER WILL I GO TO A CVS AGAIN. Now I have to drive around to find a pharmacy at 6pm that has it and a pharmacist to fill it. What a pain in the ass. Amber rocks!!! She is always patient and kind when I'm ringing out my 14,000 cosmetic with extra reward bucks and coupon items. Never does she sigh or complain like most other cashiers. She treats my daughter and I like family. My little girl even calls her Auntie Amber now lol! There is another CVS that is closer to my house but we'll always go the distance to shop here with Amber. I usually only stop here if there's a good sale on something or if I'm looking for something specific I haven't been able to find elsewhere. I've never used their pharmacy. Redbox and water fill station out front. Staff I've dealt with have been pleasant. I don't care for their photo kiosk. I've gotten messed up pics here once. Everytime I visit this location I'm reminded why it is that I am willing to drive another few blocks west to the location on Durango. All the employees, except maybe 2, act like they hate life/their job and its portrayed in their service. My last visit when I went to check out the cashier just stared at me while I put my items on the counter. He didn't say one word to me during the whole transaction. Then when I was leaving I said TO HIM, " thanks have a good day".. His response a blank stare and NOTHING back. After so many encounters of this magnitude...I felt it was time for a review. The worst pharmacy ever. The stuff doesn't communicate correctly with you either in person or on the phone. Don't even think to call them they place you on hold right away without letting you know after 15 to 20 minutes if you are lucky to wait that time because it's more. When someone gets the phone they hang up so you have to call gain until someone that wants to work responds. This is the worst service. Choose another pharmacy. read more

Great, great service at this location. They greeted us when we walked in the door, and every person in the pharmacy, it seemed, took a personal interest in making sure we got the help we needed. We called around for a less-common medication and everybody else was out of stock, yet this CVS had it and even helped me determine what it was actually called after the Walmart pharmacy just north of this location (on Arroyo Crossing) misspelled it, and the one on Fort Apache didn't catch the error when I asked them about it. The place was very clean and well-stocked; they had an excellent selection, as well, of all the things you'd expect at a pharmacy/convenience store of its ilk. All in all, we're just going to get our prescriptions filled here from now on. read more

The pharmacy staff is great and helpful but the 3 star rating is for their lack of customer service in the store. I came to buy 2 tin cans of popcorn and was juggling them in both hands so I asked for a large plastic bag and the clerk just hands them over, didn't know you bag your own stuff here. When you ask how much something is, this clerk acts like she can't be bothered unless she's the only person working there I'm not sure, it's the first time I experienced a not so customer service friendly person in the store especially in Las Vegas. read more

I went in yesterday with a discount card, they told me to go home and activate the card and come back. I called to make sure my prescription was filled. It wasn't. They needed to see the discount card again before filling the script. The lady I spoke to was rude when I asked for the prescription to be filled so I didn't have to wait any longer than necessary to get the medication. read more

Moved from the east coast a while ago and all i can say is that i miss my old CVS. This store is clean now that the new management recently took over. However, I was there on Friday evening and there was a blond woman with glasses who I guess was one of the managers sitting on the floor stocking the shelves and was literally bad-mouthing/complaining about someone to a man (another manager?). I couldn't see her at first, so I initially thought it was a customer, as she was irritated and loud. When I looked over I was appalled to see it was a worker. She even threw the 'shi*' word in. This is in front of customers! She proceeded to walk up toward the register and talked to another young woman (long dark hair - early twenties maybe) and the both of the were complaining about someone. Not sure if they were talking about a manager or an employee....but it was uncomfortable for me to hear. I also heard the blond lady say "I guess we will stay until 10 pm or else we won't have a job tomorrow". I cannot imagine the store managers back east EVER speaking like that. Please send in GOOD MANAGEMENT to this store! It has been one unprofessional train-wrack after another. It's in a great location and the cashiers/pharmacy are nice. Pharmacy techs are too lazy to verify that they actually ran my prescription by my insurance company. First of all I was waiting on the drive thru window forever. Secondly, when I asked the guy at the window if he ran it against my insurance he said yes and they covered a portion of it. When I called my insurance company, they mentioned that nothing was submitted to them. I called them back and they said the insurance I had on file was expired. Boy that pissed me off. I am sick as hell and don't need this bullshit! I'm pissed! The one star is for the bad service in the pharmacy. read more

I have been filling my prescriptions at this location since last September. Really only because I moved to this side of town.the pharmacy is so busy that even with all the staff they have the pharmacy staff and pharmacists can't keep up and provide the customer service I think they would like to. The wait is always horrible. If you fill your prescription online or call it in, it is never done by the pick up time you request. I'm sure if they build another CVS close to this location it would help lighten this stores load. read more

Three strikes in the matter of 30 minutes..They are out! I went in for a few specific items and decided to look through cosmetics to see if any sales were interesting. As I make my way through the aisle, I keep hearing a recording that the store has been alerted to my presence. I get it, gotta do what you gotta do. EXCEPT that I heard it every time I moved to continue down the aisle. It was down right insulting. I finally left the area making no selections as I always impulsively do. As I continued through the store I was mad. Seething mad. So mad that I wanted to put my things down and walk out. Still I continued on. Then I start to look at other things and thought "are they still watching me? are they thinking that each thing I pick up is going to go in my pocket or purse? DO THEY THINK I"M SOME KIND OF CRIMINAL!?" Still I continued on and made my way to the counter. The young ladies there were kind enough to explain politely that they have an issue with shoplifters and this is a method they use to deter future crimes. THIS IS EXACTLY MY POINT! I was made to feel like one of them and all I did was decide to stop there on my lunch break and spend my hard earned money that I am glad to spend, but that I would like to feel that I am valued for doing just that. Instead, I leave feeling like somehow they are probably still watching me as I get in my car. That was just strike one. Then I go to the website because I feel like I need to voice my concerns...but I can't...anywhere on the site...I find nothing. Then a survey pops up on my screen so I feel like now I can share and move on. As I am completing the survey, I realize this is an independent company conducting the survey so I finish and go back to CVS.com to search further for a place to voice my concerns. What I find is even better. There is a phone number. This is an even better option, in my opinion, so I give them a ring. I follow through the selection menu and select "store." DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN....I receive a recorded message that tells me I cannot be connected and to call back. STRIKE 2!!! I'm just pissed now! My good manners, good nature, and appropriate language is fighting the urge for F bombs and insults to spew. I breathe, control my anger and move on. I then select the email option. I proceed to type my concerns about my experi That's it. I cannot continue. No more room available. 3 UP, 3 DOWN!!! It's a shut out! Pitched the perfect game! Not only are the slow as snails on a cold day, but Customer Service is so poor you would think they OWE you a favor! If you can find another pharmacy do it and quick before your Meds run out!!! I have been talking about this experience with coworkers, family, and my boyfriend all day, because it was THAT BAD. After hours in urgent care, I finally got my prescription sent and went to this pharmacy before work (close to no sleep but nothing contagious so I figured I would tough it out with the proper medication). I came to the pharmacy at 7:57 am and the door was closed and I saw a girl open the door and walk back (in completely normal street wear mind you). So I followed her back to the pharmacy and noticed she actually worked there. She literally yelled "WE AREN'T OPEN YET". I was so taken back and half way delusional thinking did this lady who works in health care just yell at someone coming in for their prescription? You have no idea what kind of morning I had, what prescription I was filling, what kind of health condition I was in and THAT'S how you treat people? She told me I needed to go wait outside until they opened. By this time it was 7:59. I was walking back and ANOTHER lady yelled at me "WE AREN'T OPEN". By this point I explained "why are you yelling I'm a sick patient coming in for their prescription?!". She apologized after accusing me of breaking in to their establishment and me telling them their door was open and how would i break in if your door was unlocked? Finally I got to the very unenthusiastic young man who looked up my prescription who told me it was located across the street at SAVON. Apparently I'm not the only person with a bad experience here... just read the other reviews. Management should definitely take notice. This is not how you treat people. read more

I have lived in several states around the country. As most folks know, just because a chain store is good one place doesn't guarantee that it will be somewhere else. This is no more apparent than at this CVS's pharmacy. I have been going there exclusively since moving to Las Vegas las year. Unfortunately, due to some serious illnesses I am on several prescriptions that need refilling regularly. I must say this pharmacy has never failed to disappoint. From the eternally non-operational pneumatic system to drop off prescriptions from you vehicle to the inept and attitudinal employees behind the counter I'm done with them. I'm not going to go into names and other details. Suffice it to say I went down the street to Walgreens and will not be returning to this CVS. The other part of the store is just fine btw, I don't want to disparage them. read more

I went to return medicine and a cashier named Venus helped me. She asked what was wrong w the medicine and i told her we got the wrong one. I had the receipt and the box was open but not a single tablet was taken. I never took any of the pills so it was basically untouched. She starts to sarcastically LAUGH and say "so somethings wrong with it but it's opened and it's almost gone". What's so funny is it only contains 12 small pills which again we never opened because I bought the correct one. I told her no i never even used a single one. Whoever this new assistant manager or whatever she is really needs to go. I had a few items from the dollar bins section and a couple didn't have a tag. The young cashier who was obviously kinda new working there said she had to go find the price on those two items. I told her to look in the dollar bins section where I got them. She took almost 10 minutes as a line is building behind me. She comes back and says she can't find it. She asks the assistant mgr for help. Then she goes looking for it. Once again I tell her it's in the dollar bins section. Another almost 10 minutes now and she returns and says she can't find it either. Yeah, I could have walked to the aisle and showed them since they are both useless employees but by this time everyone behind me is pretty annoyed waiting in line. Then she tells me she can sell them to me for $2 each. I'm like ...what?? They are $1 items and you want to sell to me double the price cause you can't find them in your own store? Lol. She says one of the little mini notepads were "hardback" and there's no way it's $1. Omg. Are you serious? It's a tiny post it size pad for kids and she's calling it a hardback book. Omg. I have harsher words to call her but will refrain since I'm not allowed to on here. Where is the nice general mgr of this store and why would he hire such people? read more

This pharmacy loses prescriptions. You can drop your prescription off here and if you have multiple prescriptions and are not really ready for some at the time they will lose your prescription and tell you that you have no refills remaining. They are very irresponsible when it comes to handling prescriptions which is pretty scary. I never have this issue at Walgreens. read more

The pharmacists here are amazing! I don't have insurance so had to pay cash for my doctors visit. I had to purchase antibiotics and other meds using cash. Pharmacist Arash khosh gave me a mind-blowing real. I was so happy and relieved. Their attention to my needs and kindness is priceless. If you're paying cash I highly recommend this pharmacy even if you have to drive out of your way. read more

This store is filthy!!! It's nasty dirty.
