Smith's are decent stores. More expensive than Walmart, WinCo, or Aldi, but cheaper than Sprouts. I only come here when I need one or two things to make it a quick in and out experience. I do appreciate the cheese, fruits, and veggies because they are in good shape, but like I already said better deals are elsewhere for the same goods or similar ones. Aldi nowadays has the best veggies and fruit but unfortunately they aren't near me and I don't have the time to go out of my way all the time. I hope Smith's can offer some better pricing to get me in more often. read more

I stopped by today to grab one quick item, but the whole experience felt really uncomfortable. As I walked up, there was someone outside the entrance trying to sell things. Once inside, there was a teenager being asked to leave for riding a bike around the store and possibly stealing, which already made the environment feel chaotic with staff yelling that they've called the cops etc. I grabbed what I needed and headed straight to self checkout because I wasn't feeling safe. Unfortunately, it didn't get better there, there was a homeless man with a very aggressive dog that kept barking at customers, and he didn't seem to have control over it. Staff also appeared to be struggling to handle the situation with the teenager, which added to the overall tension. The whole store felt disorganized and chaotic, and it just wasn't a comfortable shopping experience. I'll likely go out of my way to shop at a different location next time. read more

This store is ok, it's nothing special but it's close to my house. Produce, meat, and bakery selection is average. The floral area is nice. Customer service isn't always the friendliest but the checkers are always slammed. Prices are reasonable. My one wish: bring back the $2.99 fresh popcorn!! The amount of 1 star reviews is baffling - this Smith's location is by far the most superior neighborhood grocery store. Why? The biggest reason is the cost savings. Ever since we've made Smith's our primary grocery store for weekly shopping, we're always shocked by our bill - we were totally getting robbed at Vons, even with their mobile app savings. Now we save an average 33% just by shopping across the street at Smith's. Mobile app contains even more coupons and deals for fuel points - we're the bandits now. Have you brought your own reusable bags? Cool, you get more fuel points that way! This is a big clean store with a TON of inventory and a wide variety. So much to choose from - it can be kinda fun to wander and see what you stumble upon. I can't believe I'd ever be saying this but, check out the sushi made fresh in the store. Yes, this is grocery store sushi, and yes I am telling you that it's good. Lastly, the staff members seem to be a LOT FRIENDLIER! Customer service at the Smiths could really improve. First, I tried to find assistance. The employee kept trying to tell me to download the app to find the item. Seriously? After I told her I'd remove the app from my phone, she told me I got to get back to work and didn't even show me where the item was located. I am writing this review to report a serious and unacceptable incident that occurred at the Warm Springs Smith's location. While shopping, I briefly stopped to look at my list on my phone. An employee, Tiffany, walked behind me and said "excuse me," but I did not immediately hear her because I have tinnitus. When I realized she was speaking to me, I apologized and explained that I didn't hear her. I had been standing there no more than 10-15 seconds. Instead of accepting the apology, she became hostile, claimed she had said "excuse me three damn times," and then called me "stupid" as she walked past. Later, while I was in line to pay, she turned around and stared at me aggressively. When I calmly told her that once someone apologizes and explains they have a hearing condition, the matter should end there, she responded by saying, "stop pointing your finger or I'll break it off," and then called me a "stupid bitch." After I checked out, she stood near the fruit bins with three other individuals, all of them staring and laughing at me in a mocking and intimidating way. I reported the incident to the assistant manager, who said they would "talk to her," but this is not something that can be resolved with a simple conversation. Threatening a customer with physical harm, using abusive language, and mocking someone after they disclose a disability is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, I emailed the district manager twice with a detailed report of what happened -- and received absolutely no response. Not even an acknowledgment. That silence says a lot about how seriously this location takes customer safety and ADA‑related concerns. This experience was disturbing, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Glaziers was the best and took all credit cards and made their own hot Italian sausage. But my biggest beef? They hand you food at the butchers counter now. I'm usually a fan of Smith and they're great deals that they have and the quality of food but I have to say I was pretty disappointed last night when I went to go get my pick up order. I had set the time to pick up between 7 and 8 PM And I received a call saying that my order was ready early, which was great but I had other plans and that's why I set the time to the time I had it set up. I let the person know that called me that I was going to be there a little after eight to pick up the order And he said it was fine. When I went there to pick up my order I waited about 15 minutes after checking in before I walked into the store to find out that he already left when talking to the Associates there I was informed that he told them that he attempted to get a hold of me, but had no luck and was informed by his manager that he can leave early. When asked if anybody else had a key to get in to get my order apparently there is no management there to let someone in to get my food. I find it difficult to believe that there was no management on staff that could've opened the gate and another staff member get my order, but even then one of the staff member said that they close at 8:30 now when she said that I looked at my phone to see that it was 830 on the dot And told her it's 830 now. If someone is going to place an order for a specific time and then talk to a staff member of when there will be there to pick it up. It would've been nice to have someone there so I could've picked it up at least a management with a key to let me in. I was also told that he had attempted to get a hold of two customers with no luck of getting a hold of them, and I informed the staff that that was not the truth for me and I can show them my phone log of when I had a conversation with them and how long that conversation was also that I was not supposed to pick up my order hours ago, as they informed me that was the case for two other customers, but that did not matter to them. They just said there's nothing that they could do resulting me having to leave a store and going to pick up my order today when I have other plans that I was supposed to do. read more

There have been multiple occasions now that we did a pick up order and our berries had mold on them. I'm not a person to write bad reviews unless I am inconvenienced multiple times. I just picked up again and my onion had mold on it. It's a big pain in the butt to have to go back and get new ones. I like their prices over Albertsons, but if this doesn't change soon, I'm going to have to move to another grocery store. Five stars to the sushi department! The two mom and pop chefs there are the best! Their sushi is absolutely delicious and you can tell they put a lot of heart into their sushi. I grew up eating sushi my whole life and know what good sushi taste like! that's why I keep going back to Smith's to order from them. This place makes me cranky. I miss my old Glaziers grocery store. I tried to give this place a year and I just can't like it. All I think about is how I loved Glaziers and how much I miss that lovely piano and sushi bar. Anyhow, this review is not all about how much I miss Glaziers. (Just a little) Let's talk about the positives first. Well.. it's way better lighting. The setup is just like most Smith's I've been to and it's just meh. There's a lot of self checkouts. I sort of prefer a live cashier. Ok that's all. And here's where I get cranky. I miss the olive bar. I miss the takeout sushi. The selection of food is not good. I found some good frozen velveeta pretzel bite thingies and a few mos later they are nowhere to be found. They don't even have those soft pretzel bites with cheese that are at most grocery stores. Their prices are a bit high compared to other stores in the area. I'd rather go to Vons. Actually after this visit I DID drive down the street to Vons because I couldn't find half the things I wanted. Produce is also just meh. I visited here after passing it as I have not been to happy with Albertsons and Vons which I feel are very overpriced. The store is really nice and new with easily accessible carts, popcorn in the front, and ad specials on a display right as you walk in. From there you can find fresh veggies, a nearly food service food bar, food samples, and an entire cheese section with fresh and fancy cheese! My first time in the store was an amazing experience as I had 3 people ask me if I needed help which all seemed genuine. Very clean and organized looking aisles with clearly labelled products. The refrigerated and freezer sections with the glass doors look super organized (at least when I go shop before 8am on weekends during the pandemic), with the exception of one frozen pizza that fell from its designated perch (that was as disheveled as it got). I never visited this location when it was Glazier's, since the bulk of my grocery shopping was done at Costco, Walmart and the local Asian grocery stores. But there can be substantial savings, especially in produce and eggs, compared to my other regular stores when taking advantage of weekly ads and promotions on their mobile app. I typically have not required assistance from store associates, but when I did this morning trying to lookup items with the correct weekly ad discount at the self check-out section, the help arrived quickly and she was able to dispatched my problem like a season pro. I definitely would come back here to shop in the future, especially for the broccoli add cauliflower that is now my main keto staples. P.S. With road constructions on Robindale and roads being blocked off, I noticed cops have been hiding in the shade on Warm Springs near Cimarron to ticket motorists that drives a bit fast. Saw one in action on the way to the store, so I was not driving too fast on my way back, and sure enough there was the motorcycle cop I saw earlier now with a patrol car just itching to catch any unsuspecting motorists. read more

Very nice Grand Opening with tons of free groceries! The first 200 received coupons for free OJ, eggs, sausage and English muffins! Inside you got many more free items and on the way out hey offered more free items! Live music, free cards, a cool Smith's ice carving and free samples every where you turned! All in all we got the aforementioned with 5 loaves of bread, pita bread (artisan, wheat, white), blueberry bagels, regular bagels, snacks, muffins free cupcakes, tons of samples inside and lots of coupons for future use. On the way out they even gave away recycle bags. Nice to have a Smith's open closer to Mountains Edge! We will become regulars. read more

I miss Glaziers. Maybe we were expecting more, I saw a new story on this store opening up (a different location), so it was supposed to be a slightly different offering for customers (not typically seen in typical grocery stores, clothing, other specialty type categories). It was really disappointing to hear that Glaziers was turning into another Smiths. The only thing I was curious about was Cousins Lobster- that would be the only reason for coming back. I really want to try their lobster roll. I shared pictures here but I didn't notice until later, that they weren't very clear ones, sorry. Needless to say, we were not impressed. We stopped by out of curiosity and we needed to pick up something for dessert. We ended up getting donuts, but I wouldn't say there was anything special about their bakery department. 4:15pm Just left Smith's on Warmsprings and Durango was getting foods from Deli and notice the server hands and nails were dirty and he/Anthony was not wearing gloves while he had his thumb inside of the container putting in my broccoli salad. I told him never I won't be getting that your not wear gloves. I also spoke with his Manager Brandy and she said they don't have to, so I spoke to higher Management which also said the same. I will not be going to Smith's anymore as their handling of foods is unacceptable! If you get sick from hot foods and deli sides you should report this business. read more

My favorite Smith's to visit. At first I was very disappointed that the grocery store at this location prior to Smith's, Glazier's, had closed down. It was one of the few stores that offered different unique items that weren't found in your norma neighborhood grocery store. However, this particular Smith's location does not disappoint. They have some of the best deals on meats and on their sales. Their deli section is always busy and offers a wide array of fixins. There's even a pizza section to grab n go for home or a picnic. I'm not a huge fan of boxed sushi but even their sushi variety satisfies my cravings. Right across the Deli is their bakery section. My oh my they offer a wide array of delectable sweets and pastries. You've got your cookies, donuts, and bread. Inside the grocery store there's also a Starbucks to give you a good refresher (or shopping "booster" if you must) and a seating area to enjoy your meal from the deli (when the Covid19 restrictions are not in place). I know I can always count on Smith's to find everything that I need. The employees here are so friendly and working hard to meet customer expectations. You'll always find an employee stocking a shelf, wiping down and grabbing carts, at the cash register waiting for customers to check out, or assisting a customer with their particular needs. The store is also well maintained and clean and the "one way aisle guidelines are in place to ensure that everyone is able to maintain a social distance. They deserve 5 stars, possibly more l, but the rating system allows 5. They deserve 10. Yes, Smith's is merchandised differently. Nope, I did not state better. I absolutely miss a great deal of items that Glaziers carried. Now, Boar's Head is there at Smith's. HOWEVER, the kiosk for placing the cold-cut order is no longer available. Bring it back! Please. It went smoothly, I can order and then shop and viola return and grab my cold cut(s). That kiosk had things go seamlessly. Not so much as of late. I am a fan of the Murray Cheeses. Wait, you don't care for cheese?! Those are fighting words. Go see Stephanie please in that section. She will change your mind. Produce, hmm leaves much to be desired, well picked. This section is never stocked efficiently and more often than not I'm picking up produce with mold. The misters for keeping the produce moist. I don't hit up this grocery store much since I prefer Von's across the street but I wanted some good takeout options for dinner. They have a really good takeout section with hot items, sushi and lots of other packaged options. I got some shrimp tempura rolls. It was a good sized portion with 12 pieces. I did have a issue at the self checkout but the staff person was able to help me right away. Overall a good takeout option. When Glazier's Food Marketplace on Warm Springs Road shuttered in early 2018 many were expectedly upset, the fact that a store featuring several beloved recipes from Helen Glazier would become yet another Smith's in reality a sign of the times, but a look at the Bakery this weekend attests to a place at least trying to win back some "foodies" with products from Utah's RubySnap Fresh Cookies and Madbrook Donut Company. Located at 8525 West Warm Springs just off Durango, the fact that Sin City's "Southwest Marketplace" is nowhere near the southern or western edge of town attesting to rapid growth over the past decade, it is immediate-left of entry that shoppers will quickly notice many of Kroger Brand's usual Cakes and Pies before finding small sign describing Madbrook Donut Company, a quick read suggesting that *only* "Texas Donuts" are imported from the family-owned company out of Utah and a taste likely confirming this later. Speaking first to other selections, Glazier's collection reportedly created by Wayne of Donut Mania long gone, even the low price of 59-cents offers no reason to investigate Rings such as the crumbly plain Cake or misshaped Old Fashioned that tastes of nothing but Glaze, a "Churro-rific" Donut of the month also an embarrassment to Crullers everywhere thanks to a complete lack of lightness or any Egg flavor. Finding at least a proper rise in the Glazed Twist, though Smith's Lemon Bismark reverted right back to awful by way of congealed center, it was finally here that the $2.50 monster from Utah proved worth its weight and cost, the interior soft and springy like Brioche while Frosting tasted surprisingly natural thanks to plenty of actual Blueberries. Moving next to Cookies, Salt Lake City's RubySnap actually inspiring the visit to Smith's after a worthless trip to Crumbl, the counter selling ten flavors is found directly across from Donuts and with hours from 10:30a until 7:30p assuring freshness the $2.50 rounds made from all-natural ingredients are a decided step in the right direction. Famous for unique flavors built on tradition, each Cookie given a name and sold cheaper in bulk, it was after noting frozen Dough for home baking that six choices were made to the tally of $13.50, first bites of "Trudy" rich with Butter plus a light bit of Cinnamon that helps to accentuate melty Chocolate Chips while a half-dipped Peanut Butter "Penelope" is thick and not too far off from Reese's Cup in terms of flavor. Immediately loving Virginia, warm Baking Spices and lots of Molasses all the better warmed, don't sleep on Maris either as molten Caramel comes sandwiched between layers of Dark Chocolate, though if forced to prioritize calories or stomach space this is one to share so a taste can be had of RubySnap's Original or Orange Sugar Cookie topped in Beet Buttercream and tangy Cream Cheese Frosting, respectively. ---------------------------- Like most Smith's this location sells all the National Brands and Kroger Generics, but adding housemade Popcorn plus prepared Foods like Glazier's before it there is an indication they are at least trying to fill a Market void - a review of their Donuts plus imported brands from Utah as above. read more

I was so excited when I heard we were getting a bigger and better Smith's in the hood. Yes it's big but not better. I tried the Starbucks on our first visit, my husband got his tea in minutes but it took forever to get my Frappuccino, and I had to ask them about it because people that ordered after me were getting their orders. We have used the deli multiple times, it takes forever if there is a line or not, the staff have to ask multiple times what I wanted. Once I was told I had to take a number even though I was the only one there. Another time there were many people waiting at the deli but they weren't calling numbers. I do like their skillet frozen meal bins, they make for quick, handy meals. The layout is strange, they are often out of products. The nice neighborhood workers I was use to at the Rainbow location are nonexistent here. read more
