CVS Pharmacy - Outside of CVS - Drugstores Near Me - Lilburn, Georgia

I have never seen such a bad and unprofessional male pharmacist works on this store. I gone several days to pickup my Trulicity medication, but this pharmacist always said there is no your medication. After three weeks out of my medication. Once a day I spoke this pharmacist on telephone to ask the availability of the medication at the store and he said only we have one month supply and the cost will be increase by double, but my usual refills were 90 days. I went to the store to pickup one month supply, but by the chance I got a female pharmacy technician works with him, I explained to her this situations, then she checked and she got a full 90 days supply with the normal price. I don't understand why this pharmacist hide the medications and he tried to give me only one month supply. The company supervisors or managers be aware and mentor this unprofessional man. read more

Not surprised this store has such a low rating. I arrived for a Covid shot appointment and waited and waited. Staff appeared unorganized and distracted. More interested in ringing up paper towels than giving me my second shot. read more

This is one of the worst CVS pharmacies I have ever shopped at. They provide dismal services. They either keep you on hold for tens of minutes at a time or hang up the phone on you instead of answering it. One of the techs in particular gets personal with you about the prescriptions you purchase and the other either gives you too many pills or short changes you in the number of pills you are supposed to get. They act like drug dealers; you go in to pick up one thing and they try to pressure you into taking shots. They should just do their job instead of hiring all their friends to work there and act like it's their drugs they're selling instead of CVS's. If you can avoid this pharmacy please do.They are very nosy and highly unprofessional. I plan on taking all of my business elsewhere. I don't have hours on end to help them do their job. Take your business elsewhere and run this incompetent lot out of the neighborhood. read more

The take forever on everything! I moved to the area 2 months ago and I'd rather drive 25 minutes to my old CVS location to get my prescriptions because at least I know they'll get filled. I wait for three hours yet no one is in the store waiting and the drive thru is never backed up. Then, they'll give me a time to come back and it's never honored. 1st: Front/Retail side has always been very nice. This review is of Pharmacy only: Pharmacy has been pleasant in demeanor kinda but "runs out of medications" if they onntheir personal opinion feel you dont need your prescription. Seems brief exchanges in the drive thru to fill your prescription now is enough for them to self diagnose you and trumps your Dr.'s prescription, Dr.'s degree, Dr.'s assessments PLUS the pre authorization that was done for your prescription and YEARS of history needing the medication. After being told for 2 weeks and several visits to try and get it filled only to be told each time they are out of the medication I need... last time I was asked to call them before coming. This Wasnt an option for me. I went again this evening. The pharmacy rep said to me when recognizing me ... I emphatically explained for you to call me. Why didnt you call me? I explained I couldn't phones arent allowed where I work. I was then asked where I work. I explained I work in a warehouse. Only to be followed with other prying personal questions : you couldn't call real quick on your break? I explained no I am one of what should be 4 people right now and I get only 1 day off a week which is why I am here now. She seemed real agitated with me. What in the world!!?? Really you are agitated with me? I shouldn't have to call before I come to a CVS. I also shouldn't have to play 20 questions of my personal life to quantify why I didnt call 1st or at all. This is absurd. I feel discriminated because of my medical condition and this person in a drive thru actually had the audacity to ask me towards the end .... wait for it.... " Well you've gone without it this long, do you really need it?" How freaking insulting RUDE. She said she can fill it for tomorrow. I said ok. She again asks me to call 1st. I WILL NOT. When I go to pick up my prescription if she isn't able to fill it fine I will take ALL my business personal, medical and otherwise somewhere else that honors proper medical processes and doesnt make personal opinions on who does or doesnt need what medication. Today, I experienced both the best and worst customer service of any pharmacy I've ever been to, with this particular CVS being the absolute worst. I speak mainly on the actual pharmacy and not the storefront, as I visited this location to fill a prescription that had been filled at a different CVS location about 4 months prior. Upon walking up to the counter to drop off my prescription, it was immediately clear to me that all of the pharmacists/pharmacy techs felt like they had much better things to do rather than help a customer dropping off a prescription. I was half-greeted by a lady at the drop off, who also thought that she'd go ahead and continue working on something else while speaking to me. Despite the fact that she was running the drop-off register, she eventually decided to pawn off the work to who it seemed was the pharmacist on staff. This would be fine, had she even told me what was going on. Instead she mumbled something under her breath, while at the same time the pharmacist that was given my script apparently was asking me something with her back turned to me from the pick up desk. Since when do people talk to one another with their back turned? At this point, the situation is already becoming the epitome of piss-poor communication and lack of common mannerisms. Heres where it goes from bad to worse. I finally figure out that the pharmacist is muttering something to me, so I walk to the other side. Upon getting there, the pharmacist tells me that the prescription is invalid due to the fact that the "p" in pm was "changed" and not initialed, when in reality the doctor had just written it sloppy. Whats it matter? this part was irrelevant to filling the prescription. Had it been obvious that the script had been embellished, or it was crossed out, or even if the same thing had happened to an important part of the writing such as the dosage, I could have easily understood. But no, there were other motives. At this point, I try and reason with the pharmacist, telling her that I had filled the EXACT same medication 4 months prior at a CVS down the road (which she saw in the computer), however this just wasn't good enough for her and she states "i wont touch that" (her exact words), making it sound like I embellished it and it was MY fault. Now, had I been from a different part of town (which she knew I wasn't, as I showed her ID), or if I had never gotten that medication from CVS before or hadn't done so in a very long time, this would be understandable. However, It seemed that there were other motives; Maybe the fact that it was 9:45pm (they close at 10) on a Friday night. It doesnt matter how the script was written, she was bound to "invalidate" it. I explained numerous times that I needed these medications tonight, however the pharmacist showed no sympathy towards the fact. Instead, she continued to ignorantly repeat the same things over and over again and implying that the prescription was forged or embellished. I presume she had better things to do at home that evening. Finally, as a last ditch effort, I request for her to call my doctor the next morning to confirm and verify that the prescription was indeed legitimate. Her answer? "We don't do that". Im sure this particular CVS doesn't, but every single other pharmacy DOES. Why? Because they CARE about their customers and got in the medical field to help others. She obviously missed the memo on this point. Overall, the pharmacy experience was by far the WORST customer service experience ever. Not only were they rude, but the pharmacist didn't have enough common sense to put two and two together to see that I was a LEGITIMATE CUSTOMER, which I will not be anymore. I will never shop at CVS again due to this experience. "I wouldn't touch them" if I were you. That is, unless you enjoy talking to people that aren't even facing you or being treated like a criminal. To end on a good note, I was nicely greeted by the front cashiers while entering and leaving the store, which is why I even rated this CVS a 2-star. Looks like the pharmacist could learn a thing or two from the front cashiers...or ten. read more

I've never had a bad experience here. I was always greeted when I walked in the door. Helpful hint to avoid the trying to get back on Hwy 78 take the street behind CVS. It's a lot easier. An added bonus is there is a RedBox kiosk at this store read more
