This is literally the worst CVS location in all of Los Angeles. Everything is locked up, they are so understaffed, the pharmacists are a mess, the shelves are empty, they carry no basic skincare products because their "store tier" got moved down. This location should legitimately not be open. Waiting 10 min for someone to come unlock a case to buy a $4 bar of soap is WILD. read more

I give this store 2 stars only for the employees especially the security guards who tried to help and who did the best they could and I feel sorry for anyone working or shopping at this store. First the doors off the parking lot were "broken" which I don't believe is true. And there were no handicap parking spaces anyway so if you need this absolutely don't go here. There were sketchy young men hanging out on the indoor parking lot side of this store outside the "broken" sliding doors so it also felt unsafe so after parking (there is no street parking at this very busy intersection) I had to leave again pull up to a busy red curb to then drop my elderly mother off to get her COVID shot. I had visited the store in I think 2021 when it was new so was shocked to see how filthy the carpet had become throughout the entire store. It looked unsanitary everywhere except in the pharmacy and again I pity the workers who have to go to work at this location. It had the look of a store that has a lot of theft hence the "broken" side door and must attract a lot of unhoused and or druggie people since I saw some of them shopping while I was there. This is what happens when these enormous chains open on every corner especially where there is a large unhoused population then operate with the smallest amount of workers possible. It's basically a giant bathroom and kitchen cabinet open for theft which then attracts people who want or need to steal. read more

For those of us that live nearby, having CVS is super helpful. They have basic necessities when we run out. The pharmacy also offers COVID shots and flu shots. When COVID was bad, they were providing at home tests as well. They have security which helps a lot with it being downtown. They also offer parking validation for the garage for 30 minutes which is great. Please don't block traffic on Broadway to run inside. read more

The pharmacy closes for a lunch break from 1:30-2. I arrived at 1:25 to pick up some pain medication for my husband who had just had surgery. The woman in front of me had a lot of questions, and the store associate told me that it was now 1:30 and she would not be able to help me get the prescription until 2pm, even though I was in line before they went on break. I said OK, and sat down, she then went on to say that there computers go off from 1:30 until 2pm so there was no way for her to ring me up. I said ok again and was just going to wait. Ten min later the woman in front of me is still asking the associate more questions so the pharmacist came out to assist her. He helped her and then rung her up for her order! The other associate told me that was not possible. I think the pharmacist saw my face but I didn't say anything. The pharmacist then says to me I can get your meds if you're just picking up, I said wonderful and he had me on my way. So, the pharmacist was good but the associate was not good! There was no reason for her to lie to me, I didn't say anything and was just going to wait. I don't like that, makes me think if she lied for absolutely no reason, what else would she lie about? read more

This is probably one of the most efficient CVS pharmacy is that I've ever been to. When a prescription is called in, they fill it very quickly, and without wasting your time. There is convenient parking in the parking garage with a free validation for 30 minutes. I also got my passport photo taken here which was very easy and painless. The pharmacy staff is also bilingual, which helps the patients who only speak Chinese. Sometimes it is hard to find Pharmacy staff that are as efficient as the ones here. Highly recommend this CVS in the area. read more

On May 4, 2025 at 11:26am I walked to my neighbor CVS as I always do when I need things. I went to self checkout and my total was $29.46 I put 3 $10.00 bills in the machine which is $30 and the machine malfunctioned some how and took my money and said I only put $21.00 in. I had Kayla to call the manager who's name is Carlos and little did I know he was supposed to watch the cameras and give me my money right then and there, but he "claimed" he would look at the end of the night and he took my number. I checked out with Kayla and paid again $30.00. It's Wednesday and I went back to the store and Carlos said I put $21.00 in the machine and I told him no I didn't. I asked to see the camera he said no. Carlos is the manager and a thief!!!! It's sad that someone would jeopardize their jobs for $9.00. Awful and discriminatory Filipino security guard working this location. To be fair I would give this location five stars since this is my favorite location and the managers are great with coupon discrepancies and finding items out of stock in the back. However today (June 24th) I went in ready to get what I needed since I have had a cvs account for a while and within seconds walking to nutrition and cosmetics where one of the managers I knew was literally in full plain sight, this Filipino security guard felt it was completely alright to stare me down and eventually get within 6 feet of me and just stand there like I was some criminal. I looked at him extremely confused and uncomfortable and he just stared and stared and I said what?? And he said you have a bag? And I said yes I have a tote bag with me, why? So he was like I'm gonna take it from you and I was like you're not gonna touch me in the slightest. So he then said why don't I put the bag up front and I said what's wrong with you? I then went do you want to see everything in my bag? And he basically looked into my bag as I spread it wide open and of course NOTHING WAS STOLEN So like a complete fool this man had nothing more to say and I just walked away because who does that?? And to be fair I've seen him do this to plenty of African American/Caucasian women as well on several occasions who were also just peacefully shopping. I was about to throw it over to him and say sure you can hold my bag as I shop it you want to be my personal assistant that badly. Something is not right with that guy for sure and he treats customers very rudely, I've witnessed him offer zero help to clients with questions this entire year and he's just creepy overall. I urge management to check the footage by cosmetics near the back half of the store, closest to the side i believe with garnier around 6:30 - 6:50 pm Hire anyone else because the man is awful at his job. I'm shocked that he even had the audacity to ask that and not apologize afterwards. I was going to tell management that some of which I'm literal friends with but decided to just post on here because shoppers need to know if this guy tries it - ignore him and notify management of harassment ASAP. I had a backpack stolen from my car in the parking structure at this CVS. I told the security and staff here about the burglary and they non-compassionately told me that whatever happens outside of the CVS store is not their business. I asked if they can provide information about the company that operates the parking garage and they said no. Be careful when you park your car in the garage at night. I usually go to the one closer to my home at sunset for the past several years, but after they have consistently provided bad/lack of care service recently, I decided to switch over to this one. Have to say, the pharmacy service was a night a day difference. The staff here are really nice, and helpful, unlike the staff at sunset Blvd location. Here, the associate were super friendly and assisted in getting my prescription filled on the spot, even though there was issues when transferring the store pickup location. There was also a mixup on my prescription order as well but also gotten that straighten out relatively quickly and hassle free. She was pleasant and easy to talk to and I am so glad I switched over. read more

Rasheed is an exemplary employee that not only is knowledgeable of the store BUT cares about customers. The store struggles with an unhoused population. I've had a couple unfortunate encounters in this store specifically. A few weeks ago an unhoused man chased me into the elevator in the parking lot after following me in the store. I ran into this same man in the store last night and felt panicked. I was panicked, calling my friends to see if someone could meet me at the store as I was scared it would happen again. I explained the story to Rasheed and he made sure I got into the parking lot safely. I felt comfortable sharing my experience with him because every time I come to the store he promptly greets me with a big smile! Rasheed is an awesome employee! First time in this CVS, never coming back. I was looking for facial moisturizer with SPF (clearly went straight to the aisle I needed), and workers kept ending up where I was, asking if I need help. Went to the back to look at bathroom stuff, same worker again coming to check on me. Security guard started to approach me too until I started walking toward the register and she whipped around to go back toward the front. I haven't felt policed / tracked in a store like that for a long time. Ironic that there's a Black Lives Matter sticker and a "we value diversity" sign outside, yet I felt chased around the store. I live just a few blocks from this location so this is my CVS! I walked in around 7:15AM shortly after they opened on Thursday, June 16 and I finished up at 7:30AM. I couldn't have been there for more than 10-15 mins. I knew exactly what I needed - only three things. One particular item, Alka-Seltzer Original the one for digestion, not for cold, I could not find. I decided to ask the store staff about it. Turns out I was looking in the wrong aisle. I was looking in the cold/flu aisle thinking all the Alka-Seltzer variations would be together. However, it makes total sense that the Alka-Seltzer for digestion was in the digestion aisle versus the cold/flu aisle. duh! she was diligently working, which i can appreciate as i'm a working girl myself. but not once did she make me feel like a bother. she was attentive. she had the friendliest, most helpful disposition i've experienced while shopping in a while. and i witnessed her being that way with other customers who were in there. her help was friendly, it was concise and straight to the point. I thanked her for her help in the moment, but I know the importance of customer reviews and documentation so i'm putting it here also. she needs to be recognized! read more
