I'm a DoorDash driver , and I've had three unpleasant experiences at this CVS. First, I went to CVS representing DoorDash. Upon entering, I identified myself as a DoorDash driver and showed them the items I wanted to buy. At checkout, I couldn't use my DoorDash Red Card to pay for them because it was first time to use it, I wasn't familiar with it, While I was communicating with DoorDash headquarters about payment, a black female of CVS employee took away my items twice for no reason , with displaying a very rude attitude! I told her action was rude. When I said I would complain to the CVS manager, she and another black male colleague said they would call the police. The third time I went in, they simply told me to leave, I did nothing wrong about it , I just followed the Door Dash Company instructions to go to CVS buy groceries what the customer needs. These two black people from CVS made me feel so terrible and pathetic! Why they did these to me , because of my Asian face? Bad service I never had before. read more

This pharmacy participates in discriminatory behavior. They actively deny people of color their medication despite valid prescriptions and having life long disease and disabilities. The pharmacist engages in dishonest practices including "repeatedly losing mailed prescriptions" and lieing about not receiving faxes. This behavior is detrimental to people's health and liable to send a patient to the hospital. read more

I'm a solid fan of CVS, especially living so close to one. I have the ap downloaded on my phone, and I check for deals on what I plan to buy as much as I possibly can without being too obsessive about checking the ap for EVERY product. I'm also a huge fan of saving money, and it sounds silly but I pride myself on getting an email two years in a row saying that I'm in the top 2-3% of savers in Madison... something to celebrate? or something to be ashamed of? I'd say celebrate :D The store is pretty well laid out. Because I visit frequently, I've become familiar with the pharmacists and check out people. They're all pretty good. Though, some seem more enthusiastic about their jobs than others. The one thing, CVS, please help take better care of your restrooms! It's nice that they offer a restroom without a key in the downtown area, but these single-stall bathrooms need help. read more

Grossly understaffed at the pharmacy counter. When you make an appt.on line for a flu shot and they tell you it didn't go thru even though it's confirmed on line? Staff says : People have trouble with using the online registration , not : CVS has online registration issues. Then you give your Medicare card individually to two more people and they tap away on the keyboard and you wait, and listen to the computer repeat : "Two pharmacy calls " endlessly ..... There were 5 people waiting for shots at one point, 3 people in pickup line and I don't know how many waiting at drive through. Then they're getting ready to give me a Covid shot instead of a Sr. flu shot. On a Tuesday morning, 45 minutes after arriving I get my flu shot 35 minutes after the appointment time. read more

I was super excited that there was a convenient place that I could upload photos on the internet and pick up the prints later. They were a bit pricey, but it was worth it for the convenience. Unfortunately whatever system they have for printing photos, involves leaving the prints out in the open. My co-worker recognized some of my photos sitting in their machine and picked them up. When I went to pick up my photos, there were some missing. Do not print your photos here. read more

Let me start by saying that I live above this location, so regardless of service or quality, I would probably still visit this store for convenience alone. I've seen a variety of experience at CVS. The people that work there are pretty nice, so no complaints there. One time, the photo machine was broken, so they told me to come back in an hour. When I did, it was up again and I was able to print. Many other times, they've helped me find items in the store and been knowledgeable about their current promotions and specials. Overall, I think CVS is a bit overpriced compared to other stores, but their convenience makes up for it. read more

I have bought many things here, They have children's benadryl which is less drowsy (exclusive) and a very good policy on exchanging if something is not right. This weekend, I ran out of a drug. I transferred it to CVS, as my usual pharmacy wasn't open. They gave me the dose I needed for Sunday, and I picked up the remainder on Monday. Thank you CVS. P.S The manager is always willing to work with you if something is not right. read more

I don't understand how this CVS could have such low ratings. The pharmacy is always super fast for me, and the pharmacists always super helpful and knowledgeable (sp) if I have a question. Ditto for the employees in the main part of the store, which I find well-stocked. This is one of only two CVS pharmacies in all of Madison, and I hope more open up in the future. SORRY, but I'm not a "community pharmacy" type of guy. Large chains like CVS have better supply, pay their employees better benefits, and offer more competitive pricing because of their bulk purchasing power. And then there's the convenience: when you're traveling and realize you forgot critical medications, you can go to the nearest CVS, and they'll transfer you over. You can't get that kind of infrastructural power with a "community" pharmacy. Pharmacies are one kind of business where mindless unthinking localism can have real consequences. read more

Needs some serious help with training. After asking the manager where something was, he said they were 'remodeling' so he didn't know where anything was. Cashier didn't know how to apply my RedCard $5 coupon after I had redeemed it on my phone. read more

Went here to get check out some sales they had going on. While there I decided to check with the pharmacist on some things. He seemed really lazy and disinterested. Acted like a know it all. What's up with that? The aisles are set up nicely and the entire store is very neat and clean. They seemed a bit understaffed compared to a Walgreens. Parking was somewhat awkward. I found a spot behind the store off the street and there is a side door to enter from the lot. Wheelchair accessible. Bought a few of the sale items and left. Won't be back here. read more

Better deals here than Stinken Walgreens . The employees are a wonderful and helpful. The employees at Acewood and Cottage grove rd Walgreens are rude especially the Manager rude and unprofessional. I will never shop there again read more

It's nice the store has their own parking for customers. It can get full though pretty easily. CVS is overpriced but that's why they have their sales, coupon machines and extra care bucks system. Makes it much cheaper than even Walmart if you know how to pair your coupons with the sunday paper. Most staff is friendly. Decent place. Would recommend. read more
