I scheduled the Covid vaccination here online. I was late because there is a N. Franklin Tpk. and a Franklin Tpk. and I went to the wrong one. They still met me me, gave me my shot and answered all my questions. I was wondering how a CVS could possibly have such bad reviews and figured I'd see something while I was here. I went to the self checkout isle since nobody was behind the counter, but the item scanned up the wrong price and I couldn't cancel my transaction. I hit the help button for assistance to cancel my transaction or have the price changed but nobody came to help me.I walked out without buying anything. You can go there and use the self check out as long as nothing you need is locked up. It seemed like the pharmacy was very busy, they seemed to be fully staffed and working hard. read more

Low prices, easy to walk isles, quick service.. And an abundance of variety :D I came in looking for blistex and lactose free milk and I left with both of those things. Course I acted masculine and didn't ask for directions to the blistex... So I spent a good three minutes walking up and down the cosmetic isles heh. In case you need to know, the feminine products, shavers, and KY gels are near the cosmetics... The chapsticks, however, are by the pharmacy... As well as the condoms and vick's vapor rub. Aren't I a bundle of helpfulness ;) they also have Mylar balloons, do passport photos and sell cigarettes. read more

Either they are really understaffed (then I totally get why they are cranky) OR they are just not happy people. The best customer service. Very helpful group of employee's. Mostly young kids but they are all very nice. They always come up and ask if you need help. And always make the effort to help you at the register. The store is very clean and organized. A little disappointed that sometimes the store does have some promotions that are not available but other then that its a great place to shop. read more

I've been using this CVS for meds for quite a few years. I think they have new management and have cut down on staff. More than 12 minutes on hold for question, taking over a day to fill Rx's. Time to look for a better pharmacy. read more

The pharmacy here is terrible. Many times they don't carry what I even need, and it's nothing special. Takes weeks to get a kids vitamin! Waiting on hold for over 10 mins is the norm. Rx take a long time to fill. I question why I still go there, it's the nearest drive thru CVS- but I should just switch to Walgreens. read more

CVS pharmacy in Mahwah is by far the worst of the CVS pharmacies that I have been to. The service is terrible. Disorganized and poor in person and telephone service. Website is hard to use. If you call, you will be on hold for at least 30 min or more without a satisfactory solution to your questions. "We didn't get the prescription" is a common response and they will just keep sending you back to your different doctors, who all say the script was sent. They even gave me expired medication once and I didn't notice until after already consuming some! Lastly, I waited 30 min in line to pick up a prescription that I kept getting texts to pick up only to learn that they could not find the prescription anymore. So I had to wait more in the store for them to fill it again. Should have switched to another pharmacy sooner. read more

The pharmacy is terribly understaffed or just terrible. Waited for half hour for my prescription to see if it was done waited on the line of 3 for a rather long time line never moved. Watching the interactions woth the other people being helped, they could not find anything. Some things were forgotten to be filled. They spent a lot of time running around lost then actually helping people. Their were 5 people behind counter and one was trying to call someone in to help. I'd hate to see if they were actually swamped with customers on line too. read more

I strolled in on a Friday night, everyone greeted me with a smile, all of the staff were super friendly, attentive and helpful...the store is clean and bright and organized...which also adds to a great shopping experience...I totally enjoy shopping at this particular CVS...(I don't think they are open 24 hours, but that's ok) I also love the coupon machine...it usually prints out a bunch of coupons, one which I can use right away, and a few more I can use another day...so don't forget to print out your coupons...I don't know for sure but I think they trend what you buy...because it always prints out a coupon of something I'm running out of....lol...hey I can always use a good deal $1.50 off coupon my deodorant just now! Plus the dove spray deodorant which is $7.99 was already on sale for $5.49...sweet! And the Poland Spring 24 pack is usually $6.99 was on sale for $3.49 Wow...CVS is a great store...and the Mahwah location is one of my favorites! PS Pharmacy closes earlier than the store (I believe 9 but it may even be earlier, so call ahead if you dropping in late with a prescription, but there is also a 24 hr CVS in Suffern, NY just one town over) read more

Yelp doesn't let you post 0 stars, which is a shame - that's still being too nice Absolute worst pharmacy ever. Have waited over 30min just to pickup a prescription a few times, today was over 45min! And not once do they apologize for the wait. That's it, I'm switching to the Walgreens on RT. 59 Suffern. Do yourself a favor, switch or just go ahead and hit your big toe with a hammer - even that's less painful than dealing with this place. read more

If I can give a lower rating, I would. This place is terrible. I ordered pictures that were suppose to arrive in 5-7 business days and it took 10. My order was lost and the status tracking system is worthless. The only thing worst is the customer service. If it was just a delay, I won't give such a negative review. I've called customer service and the store multiple times to inquire and they never follow through with what they say. The store blames online and vice versa. As a paying customer, I just want the goods and services that I am paying for. In the meantime, I've gone to another service that already delivered on their promise. If you need something done by a certain time (within their promise) and want reasonable service, avoid this store and CVS online photos. read more

The service is so bad here. Even when you call ahead or place a refill when you get there to pick it up at the time its suppose to be done it still takes them at least a half hour to help you and for you to get your perscriptions. I am definitely switching over to Walgreens! read more
