CVS needs to be shut down permanently. Me and my mom went to the pharmacy a couple of days ago. And they only had two pharmacy techs and one rude bald headed dude who is completely rude. Ignored me and my mom for about 30 minutes. He just kept on filling up other people's meds and just ignored us. And then after we left the drop off window. He goes over to the drop off window and starts helping other people. Rudest guy ever. He needs to be fired immediately. The pharmacy sucks. Slow people and completely clueless. CVS needs to be shut down for good. Will be changing pharmacies to a better place than CVS. Shut down CVS. Also the worst place to work for. Don't work for them. Yelp asked if CVS did it right, I answered no and then they want to know what they could do to make it better. Go out of business! Seriously! For 4 years I've dealt with CVS's blame game. From blaming my doctor to blaming me, all on things that neither of us control. The CVS system is completely broken yet, they can't admit it or do anything about it. Notifications never work correctly. Prescriptions filled incorrectly. Pharmacist should be fired due to their rude, disrespectful attitude not only to customers but to fellow employees. Pay extra for ScriptSync but the system kept messing it up and making it back out of sync. Medication packaged in a ziplock bag instead of a child safe bottle. Employees make up times and stories to make mistakes appear correct. Prepay works only when it wants to. My payment methods somehow disappear out of their system yet reappear at random times. Payment method card details update mysteriously all on their own. My contact info changes without notice. Being opted into being solicited even though I've disabled all of it, opted out of it, and even had many CVS employees disable it entirely. They incorrectly fill prescriptions which forces me to have to pay more, yet they never correct it. They blame the doctor when they fill a 90-day prescription as a 30-day and then charge me for a 90-day, and then beat me up because it was supposed to be a 90-day fill (ALL CVS's fault). Even though I was overcharged I've never received the credit (that would show proof of mistake). Prescription fill quantity doesn't match the actual refill quantity. CVS refuses to correct the issue which forced me to keep up with the refill count and contact my doctor in advance in order to have a wellness visit to obtain a new prescription. When CVS was asked about the problem and the correct quantity, I was ignored for a year, and then finally was told I had no more refills after the last fill. According to my calculations I should have had 2 fills left. This left me without medication for 2 months due to trying to get a doctor's appointment at the last minute. CVS refused to transfer prescriptions to another pharmacy forcing me to contact my doctor to have them write a new prescription for a totally different pharmacy. read more

We moved from Florida and a CVS I loved going to when the need arose. This CVS on Foothills Mall Dr is exceptional. They are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. When a prescription was called in from the doctor's office I went there and it was ready within five minutes of my arrive- despite the fact that they were busy. I appreciate their dedication and helpfulness. read more

Extremely unkind and unprofessional CVS Minute Clinic employee on Foothills Mall Dr in Maryville, TN refused to fulfill my sick 9-year old's 1:20 appt today because we checked in the kiosk at 1:33 after sitting in traffic for a wreck then paving. (All paperwork, ins card, and payment had been previously submitted when appt was scheduled at 7a). She instead took the 1:40 scheduled patient early, then would not care for my child (whose temp was 102) because the strep test takes 15 minutes to process and she had 13 minutes left until her lunch hour started at 2p. Unbelievable. I am so thankful for all the caring medical professionals we know in Knox and Blount counties. We certainly won't be seeking a healthcare professional at this location again. read more

I have decided to part ways with this pharmacy. I require a prescription that I can only take a certain brand of. I am allergic to the generic version of this medication. I was given instruction to give the pharmacy a heads up about a week before my prescription runs out. In doing so, this would allow them time to see if they had it in stock, or if it requires ordering from the manufacturer. I follow their instruction every time it is due. Literally something goes wrong every single time. I gave them a call on 1/12/22 to let them know I would need a refill soon. I was told that they were out, but it had been ordered, and would be ready by Monday 1/17/22. As of 1/20/22, I still had not received a text that it was ready, so I called to check up. I was told it was on back order, and was not available. I asked why no one reached out to me to let me know. The answers I got were; we're really busy, & we're in a pandemic. I finally found a CVS that had it in stock. I ended up driving 35 minutes from my house to a CVS in Knoxville to get my medication. I understand being busy, but when I have been waiting several days without any form of communication about this medication, that is extremely unprofessional. read more

Saw the minute clinic. They are clearly understaffed but even so the wait wasn't terrible. The computer check in did not work well and was difficult to use. Doctor was nice and helpful, but she sent me back out to waiting room then came back out to ask more questions about my condition (I guess she forgot to ask)-something about not being able to write a prescription without that info. Sort of embarrassing to have the doctor asking me about my medical conditions in the open, non-private waiting room. read more

When I went to pick up my prescription, I was told by the person behind the counter, "I wish you'd come later." Even though there was no one else working in the pharmacy area (maybe he was stressed with a lot to do by himself), there was no need to be so rude to a paying customer. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the staff is VERY nice despite the fact that they are ALWAYS under staffed! This place is very busy all the tine no matter what tine you come in for a script. Average wait time is beyond ridiculous! Hire some more folks or lose some business to you competitor across the street. My wife goes there and never waits long because they are properly staffed! read more

Today while shopping i overheard a man behind the counter in the pharmacy being very hateful to a delivery person. The gentleman was just doing his job and after being ignored he simply asked a question. If you are going to talk that way to one person you will to others. I will however say the delivery person maintained composure after being talked to like a dog. I don't know that I could have been so calm. I felt so bad for this man. read more

Not happy at all with this CVS. I waited a long time to speak with the pharmacy and then a woman named Angela finally picked up and as I was in mid sentence she hung up on me. I am tired of being a nice and patient customer when my service and experience is awful. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. April 24th 2018. Why is it everytime I come to CVS you cannot get served at the drive-thru window? I've been in line now for 20 minutes we have moved one car and several cars behind me have driven off. No other Pharmacy I know of has the problem they have at the drive-up window here. This is the WORST pharmacy I have ever had to get prescriptions filled. Thankfully, insurance is changing so CVS will no longer have a monopoly over me. I dislike CVS anyway, but I will happily drive to the Hall Rd. CVS in Alcoa because at least the employees in the pharmacy there are helpful. Sometime around July 2014 I went to this CVS, as I usually do. They filled my prescription and I went home, only to find it was the wrong amount of pills. I returned to CVS to get things sorted out. The pharmacist said I could only get a certain amount of pills- not the amount of pill I thought I would get according to my script. When she tried to explain why, I was confused. I kept asking her to explain it in a different way so I could understand. Suddenly, another pharmacist (I'm assuming the head pharmacist by the way he acted) came over and said "It's simple math lady. Figure it out. It's not rocket science." I was offended, and I told him "It's rude to insult the intelligence of your customer" and he started yelling at me, trying to justify his words by saying I was stupid for not understanding, and that I should just get over what he said. I tried to tell him again "You shouldn't insult me", but now the first lady pharmacist chimed in saying "Why are you yelling at us? It's your fault", and eventually every pharmacist in the back was yelling insults at me, blaming me. I have anxiety and I started to have panic attack. I had already paid for my medication so I ran off down the aisles of the CVS. I got about half way to the front when my panic attack took over, and I fell to the floor hyperventilating. I know the pharmacists saw, I was right in front of them. No one came to help me. Eventually, a customer noticed me and called 911. I was taken to the hospital, and treated for a severe anxiety attack. This CVS has always been rude to me, and after this experience, I started to go to Volunteer Pharmacy instead.This CVS is just awful, don;t give them your time or money. In fact, it seems the whole company's corrupt, because when I filed a complaint on the CVS website, a regional manager called me, and talked as if she didn't even care about my treatment at her employees hands- she only cared about how many pills I got. I didn't call her back- there's no point talking to people who don't care. These guys are the worst of the worst. read more
