i made five phone calls to the pharmacy and to my doctor to confirm the prescription had been received and filled. CVS pharmacy called me Thursday morning saying that my prescription had been filled and ready to be picked up. Friday afternoon I waited 15 minutes in line and the customer service person said that I had to wait in another line for a consultation. After waiting another 10 minutes the woman said that they will fill it now and should be ready in the 15 minutes. I overheard one pharmacists tell the other that her shift was over and she had to leave. This would leave the lone pharmacist the take care of a long line of customers by himself. The most people I've seen BEHIND the counter in a pharmacy but yet the Absolute SLOWEST. The one dizzy woman at the check out is running around in circles looking for scripts in all the wrong places like it's her first day on the job, and she almost always has a problem looking up your date of birth and every single customers credit card does not work until the 3rd try? I went to use the restroom with my young niece and found this disgusting bacteria breeding ground. This is a pharmacy where people go to get "healthy" I was appalled by the condition of this restroom.... and then to see a separate bathroom for the employees? Wonder if that bathroom has seen a cleaning in the last 6 months because I am sure the restroom for customers has NOT! DISGUSTING, CVS management should be ASHAMED!!! read more

I waited so long in the pharmacy line my car registration was expired by the time I left . I have never got out of this pharmacy line in under 25 minutes . 5 people behind the counter ,One helping customers . Employees are nice though . read more

Super friendly and helpful spot. I went to pick up a mask cuz didn't have one in the car. I had to cover my mouth with napkin and everyone was friendly and nice to let me go ahead and pick up several masks. No one was upset but very helpful - both staff and customers. read more

I rarely leave reviews but 45 minutes I have been on hold trying to speak to the pharmacy simply to find out if something is ready. The store has gone down hill terribly - prepare for a 15 minute wait to pick something up from the pharmacy - often times it is not ready. So much for small town living - the staff in this store is clueless - either new or not trained properly - their supply chain is awful with things not restocked - recently vitamin d sold out - seriously ??? it's a mess overall - looking at my phone i have been on hold for 56 minutes - for good measure I am sending this comment to the ceo and board of directors - time to switch pharmacy's - read more

On my way to receive my prescriptions I've noticed the quality of the store has deteriorated. There is one specific interaction that happened with a very uneducated and moralless employee S.N which terminated any other future trips to this establishment. Just go to the Riverhead one! read more

Not sure what thus one was like before but they just finished renovating it so everything is fresh and clean The "cattle corral" line for the register seems weird in thus small town but I guess that's corporate. Love the hours! read more

Warning: If you fill a prescription here, they will pursue you monthly by automated phone call, twice a day. (I filled one prescription there, and since then continued with my regular pharmacy). There seems no way to turn it off electronically. I've spoken to a pharmacist twice: once to no avail, and today got hung up on. I have blacklisted their phone number. read more

I have several scripts, so the auto reminder is so helpful to me. And they send a text when it is ready for pick up. Prices are pretty fair depending what you purchase; watch for sales and use your card!! Thankfully ours here is very clean, spacious and very friendly. I was shopping for some items for a sick child. When I had everything ready I went to the cash register and I thought it was still a couple of minutes before closing. But I was told that they just shut off the cash register and I was out of luck. I left empty handed. They made no announcement that they were closing and didn't bother to see if there was anyone was left. I complained to CVS headquarters and got a polite apology call back and I was told they were going to send me a gift card for my troubles. The previous reviewer makes me realize that CVS stores all look TREMENDOUS but aren't. Why do they have to big such imposing buildings to small towns. Look at the McDonald's, it has more of a homey feel rather than what you see in urban areas. I can't for the life of me figure out why CVS and Rite Aid can't alter their facades to match the area. I try to do all my discount shopping in Riverhead and only run in here if I need something quick. NOt the best selection or prices. read more
