So when I called walgreens and managed to get a hold of a human, I was told this one was open 24 hours. I called them and they were able to move and fill my prescription right away. However, it wasn't something they did in a friendly manner. Instead I felt like they were annoyed to have to do something. The tone of the person on the phone was displeased to say the least. A similar issue at pickup, the gentleman who was running the counter wouldn't even acknowledge my small talk. Just flat out ignored me. Overall they can have a 3, they did the thing I needed, when I needed it done. That's good enough. A little customer service would go a long way... I know I'd be fired at my job if I acted that way and my job isn't potentially life or death like a pharmacy.

This is not what I want. I want hot coffee. Cold coffee once, sure, but 4 or 5 times in a row? I'm not going back until I know they have a make-it-now machine, since I have low confidence now. Love their ice tea. Really, really love it. Tall, icy, refreshing and full of lemon--shway! I Get it from the RLB location any time night or day. So, I was a bit surprised when I got to the Mchenry location and found the ice tea machine and the lemon container both dry as a bone. When I asked the gentleman who worked there if I could get some he waved his hand and said: "No--if it's not there then it's gone. And we're not going to make any more tonight because nobody wants it." Which confused me because I was standing there telling him I wanted it. It was...I believe the technical phrase is, "Uber sucky service." I also watched him throw a bit of a hissy fit to his co worker about whether or not the pop machines were clean and how someone else--who wasn't present at the moment-- would just, "Have to deal with it..." Maybe he was having a bad night. That's understandable. It happens. But I still won't be going back.. The experience sucked monkey privates.

There is even a switch to flip to notify an employee if the bathroom is not up to standard. The sink was big and only slightly slanted which allowed me to NOT get splashed when I washed my hands....thank you. Condoms are sold in one of those wall machines....that was weird. Bought a candy bar on the way out. If i had a car I would gas up here. bike parking on the west side of the building....Free air too.

I have stopped going here about 3 months ago because I got tired of coffee either being empty or so burnt it taste terrible. I'm not a coffee snob by any means ( just not a Starbucks overpriced coffee fan) but one morning I went I told the girl working the coffee containers were all empty she actually tried to talk me into a flavor that she liked because she just made it and it was her favorite. Really? If you are going through the effort wouldn't you make all flavors? Got tired of everything either empty or broken so haven't gone back for a while. Figured I would try again about a week ago and same old stuff so don't feel bad driving by. It honestly used to be busy there and now don't see cars in there at all. I'm sure that the manager or corporate office is thinking it's due to the rough road driving in there (which is being replaced now) but it's due to the lousy service they provide. I don't think it's the people that work there I think it's the management that they have in place. Many times that I was there before there were 2 employees outside smoking (pretty sure one was the manager?) and everything was empty inside and the poor person inside was taking heat for everything many times. It's a shame, want to support local business but not if they don't care. There are many more places to get gas and or coffee.

Our nurse would drop it off when it arrived and I would pick it up... Until i found that I was running out of her medication several days before we would even be scheduled for next appointment.. I chalked it up e first time thinking because she had to step up they might not of compensated for he amount. But it happened again and again.. I knew that they would say it was me.. But then realized her monthly prescribed 120mls was in an 90 ml bottle .. So I confronted her doctor and she told me she has had previous complaints about medication shortage recently to fill at a different pharmacy. What I recieved at Walgreens was nothing close to what I had been getting. The bottle was huge. Not to mention the pharmacist showed me that the bottle comes to them which contains a powder . They add a required amount of water which activated the medication. And that is what I should of been getting. My daughter was anywhere from7 to 9 days short on a medication that she needed and suffered withdrawl from because of it. either A they were stealing it or B they stealing it.. Ugh I am one pissed off momma.... I surely wish this wasn't the case but I cNt make sense of it another way.. How many other kids and PARENTs who depend on their medications had tI suffer!? Not to mention that the 120 mls of liquid cost 240 $ without insurance. Which was paid for out of my pocket for the first two months..
