Pharmacy & Convenience store! This is one of the Largest stores around! Seems like they have everything to help you stay healthy, look gorgeous and be strong & odor free. Was Rite Aid's main competitor in our area. This is a large store and well appointed and stocked. Pharmacy seems to have enough people to cover the extra clientele that they took on from Rite Aid. it runs every efficient and the associates and pharmacist are very friendly and helpful. read more

I'm adding 1 star based on my experience today. Due to the supposed staffing shortage, my vaccine appointments got cancelled by 2 CVS locations within the past week. Last Friday my confirmed 5:15 appointment was not honored by the CVS/Gettysburg Pike without giving me a reason. (I had to call the corporate to find out). Today, the CVS/Target also didn't honor my confirmed lunch time appointment; but they at least posted a sign citing staff shortage. Since I still have time left for my lunch hour, I drove to the nearby CVS/Sporting Hill, on the off chance I could get a walk-in. I didn't hold much hope given how the day was going and that there was no appointment slot available online. Lo and behold, the pharmacist at the counter miraculously slotted me in without saying a word. 10 minutes later my name was called and I got my shot. Third time's a charm. I was very grateful to say the least. Now this location has the longest store hours in the area, and the pharmacy is the most well staffed in the area. The interior has been updated within the past 2 years. As for the retail section, Jillian has been a standout in the recent month. She's consistently been friendly and helpful in the last few months during my visits. The cramped parking lot I can tolerate. The only thing that does bother me about this location is that it can be hard to exit to the streets during rush hours. read more

This place is terrible. They mess up scripts all the time, not processing insurance correctly. You wait in line to pick up and then when THEY have made a mistake they make you go to the back of the line at drop off, then go back to the back of the line at pick up again. Horrible staff, never answer their phone. Could not be LESS satisfied, actively switching our prescriptions elsewhere. Many neighbors having the same issues and hate this place. read more

This CVS used to open 24 hours. Now it opens 7 am - 11 pm, still one of the longest store hours. The location is convenient; however, along with it is busy traffic. Going in and out of the store can be quite dangerous, especially during rush hours. The pharmacy is one of the better staffed. We get our prescriptions and flu shots here. Compared to other CVS, this one feels a bit dated and cramped despite a recent update a few years ago. This location also has a Minute Clinic. read more

Just awful. As a busy licensed healthcare professional, I pre-scheduled my appointment two weeks in advance. I received two texts confirming my appointment and requesting I confirm when I arrive at the store. I adhered to the instructions. I was informed I could proceed to the pharmacy. I waited in line behind two other customers for five to ten minutes. I arrived at the counter to this extremely RUDE pharmacy tech. He tells me I can't get the vaccine because "there are no more vaccines." I haven't responded at this point. He then proceeded to dictate to me that I could wait for two hours until noon when the vaccines may be shipped in. I calmly asked him why no one had contacted me. He then apologized. I just walked out of the store. No. Just don't chance it. read more

I used the CVS pharmacy at this location for years. I was recently prescribed a medication to be taken weekly. The dosages increased, and on 3 occasions, the medication needed to be ordered,and it wasn't available until 1 day of needing it. I just learned that I was unable to request a refill until 2 days before I needed the medication. I spoke to someone in the pharmacy and asked if the medication could be ordered a week before I needed the medication to avoid not having it available when I needed it. I was told that the order could not be placed until I refilled the medication! Are you kidding me?! As a medical professional, the answer given is unacceptable! I transferred my prescription. Doctor had called in prior to surgery even taking place. Even after going through surgery, recovering from Anethesia, and driving to store, they told me to wait for at least another 30 minutes before they would have prescription filled. Obviously chose the wrong pharmacy. read more

Hate to do this because I know how difficult it is to find staffing. But sitting in the Pharmacy drive-thru line for more than 20 minutes is unacceptable. Line of 8 cars behind me extends to the main road. Oh and don't show up between 1:30pm and 2:00pm. The Pharmacy is closed daily for lunch during that time because they don't know how to stagger lunch breaks. read more

this pharmacy is the worst. prescriptions are never ready. my doctors call the prescriptions in early in the day and when I arrive in the afternoon it's never ready. they tell you they'll put a rush on it and to come back in 45 minutes. why can't they put a rush on it when they receive the prescription read more

I just left this store about an hour ago. Terrible service. A young boy manager was snide and sarcastic. I called corporate, to no avail. I will not be using this store for prescriptions going forward. There are too many other choices out there. If I could give this store a zero rating, I would. He was a nasty piece of work. read more

Located on intersection of Carlisle Pike and Sporting Hill Road. Is bit of problem getting in specially in traffic hours. The traffic on the light at intersection gets backed up and it is difficult to make a turn into the pharmacy. Is like basically any other CVS - advantage which this branch has it is open 24 hours. Pharmacy is located in the back of store and generally is well staffed considering that there are always few people waiting for their medication. Clean and well organized drug store. Right across the street from another clean and organized drug store. I needed some cough drops and antacids after eating Mexican food right next door. Good layout for the items, makeup and personal hygiene on the left, medicine and first aid on the right. Pharmacy in the back, as most of them are. The staff on my visit was average, not happy go lucky, and not bitchy as Mia dealt with. Then again, I was just picking up things without any kind of coupon or card. No more point in stuffing any more energy into a simple review like this. Moving on. read more

Total insanity & maddening frustration is what we had to endure at CVS: the phone system is at the top with comcast as the worst company on the planet, could not reach a human for over an hour of calling & stumbling thru the maze of phone tree & undesirable mindless people employed to make customers despise CVS & absolutely decide to change to a better Drug store & Pharmacy not named CVS! Wegmans is 150% better! How can stores exist with anti- consumer phone systems, inept employees, employees with holes in the ear the size of a nickle or nose & strange piercings & so many tats they look like they are dirty & unsanitary? This is disgusting & we would not care if it was not forced on us by employers permitting such behavior! Open 24 hours. This IS MY CVS PHARMACY! Not to use their slogan, it just is. I had to stop by today for a visit to the drive thru pharmacy. I was greeted by Lindy. Fabulously helpful, polite and knowledgeable about the products offered by CVS brands. At the drive thru I asked a question about an OTC eye drop. She went above and beyond knowing I wasn't feeling well and was there to pick up some other medications. She was soooo very helpful. The pharmacist also came to answer questions she was asking on my behalf and it was a great experience for me. I usually go in late and deal with the night pharmacist Roger. He will help you find anything you need help with. Be it aspirin that has codeine or any other question you may have. The staff in this pharmacy are the best. The rest of the staff are great and helpful as well. I LOVE MY CVS! I have my CVS card and I DO save money! Clean, affordable, organized. Nice staff. Yes....My CVS Indeed! :) read more
